Hey Mike. Thanks for commenting. I need to get back to offtopic room but I've been so busy. Keep them in line until I return. I am glad you liked Skydiver JimboB.

Thanks for the fave on "In the Beginning." I've reloaded the picture with minor improvements, so you'll have to fave it again to have it listed. (Unfortunately, Caedes doesn't let me change images without deleting and reloading.)
Hi Mike ... Thanks for your kind words on "Where City Meets Country ~ Part 2". Glad you enjoyed this part of NYC. I'm thinking of going for an extended visit this fall. Sherree

That can denote me truly: these, indeed, seem,
For they are actions that a man might play:
But I have that within which passeth show;
These but the trappings and the suits of woe."

hi mike,
thank you for the comment on "gazing through the bars"!
i can see how it looks like a bike rack, but it is actually just a decorative piece on the side of a building.
thanks again!

Thank you for you comment on "The Morning Steam." I agree it could have been brighter. I don't mess around with my photos much after I take them, but next time I'll try to make it brighter!
Mike,
Thks for the great link to the Canon 50D. I haven't seen that one before. I will save that one. Thks also for looking at the image, Jennings Bayou.

Tryin' to keep the riff raff out...JK...Thanks for the comment on Big Cat in the Aspen Forest. I'm bored with all my photos and just want to play now. AS if I have time... anne :-)
There are tons of websites for uploading snapshots - photos of your neice, back yard, etc. "Caedes Man" did not start this website for that purpose. His intent was to offer a venue for folks to share artistic images that could be used as desktop backgrounds. Does anyone really want an out of focus shot of a dog for a desktop background? probably not. Let's share the good stuff and help others by telling them what's good or how to improve an image. We could all make Caedes a great site for everyone and use those other places for the snapshot sharing. A first rate family snap sharing website is www.easysite.com. FREE website to share all your snaps plus a whole lot more. Thanks for giving honest and usable feedback. Blessings to all, anne :-)
Mike thanks for the comments on my mountain morning post. The Rockies are one of my favorite places too. I finally made it out there this past summer, 20 years after my last visit!

Hello there.. Thanks for ur comments on the 'Ixora flowers'. Glad that you liked it. Nah.. they dont have much of a fragrance.. but they always bloom in bunches.. and is really eye-catchy ! :-)
Many thanks Mike for taking the time to check out my latest offering, 'In The Green' and thank you for your valued comments and feedback!
I'm glad you liked this shot ;) I'm considering taking some more pics of this area nearer dusk/dawn too, and maybe even some 3-4 frame HDR composites, that I really like doing.

Hey, thanks alot for stopping by to comment on my river picture. The river goes under the road on which i was standing but there is no suspension, elevation or handrails so im not sure they call it a bridge. More of a ditch or something. Thanks again and have a great day!
And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

Hi Mike! Thank you for visiting and comment "Winter slowly coming...". I left this black pole on the right side because of the vista sidebar :) It's your choice :)
You have very funny avatar :)
Hi Mike! Thanks for your comments on Gizycko ^__^. They were greatly appreciated. To answer your question; Gizycko is found in the northern part of Poland.
Thanks Mike for commenting on my Dragonfly picture “Old Green Eyes” This Dragonfly appears to be missing part of its front leg, maybe a little run in with Kermit.
thank you very much for commenting on my "Noël Russe en Printemps Haussmann". No "post" work were made with the picture, the decorators in this Paris department store are truly geniuses :).

Hello Mike....Thankyou so much for your kind comments on (ATLANTIC WAVE)they are so much appreciated....I spent a good hour watching the waves pound that old pier and the sounder echoed around you like thunder....Thankyou again....All the best to you Mike........................................Mick.
Mike, thanks for your comment on "Timeless Perfection." I am glad it brought attention to shape and texture...I love a color rose but also love the contours of the bud
Okay. So you're in the Heartof a Storm. Everything is perfectly calm, right? But you know that at any minute that calm is going to go away, and everything is going to be in chaos, and the world around you will literally blow you away. I want to be there.
Thanks for your comments on black and white boots. I am trying out different ideas on how to present my film prints on this site as the scanning just doesn't seem to pick up the finer points of the real photograph. My husband does all the developing in our darkroom and I can honestly say that he is my worst critic (or best). So I'm going to see what I can do to get a better representation of my actual work rather than just the digital. Thanks again.
