Bee Bloom 3 is another shot of this years Cherry Blossoms and Bee visitors. Now the little buggers are boring holes in my house again. Thanks Mike for the nice comments on this image. This was shot with a Konicia Minolta DiMAGE A200 in telephoto macro mode at iso 50 and f-11 fstop with a fill flash. I've worked with CV CADDS4x and AutoCad off and on for the last 25 yrs. What CAD are you using?

hi mike, i'm so glad you liked my version of waimea canyon. we go there every year so i have lots of photos. most are on film and i haven't started scanning . that is, since i got a digital. anyway no matter how many times you see it. the canyon always looks different. thanks so much for writing, your comments mean a lot to me. jen
Hey Mike...thanks for the kind feedback on (Winters Glow) So glad that you found this of interest. I really appreciate your time and commenting on this image. Glad to share.
it would be really dark. the opening for the most part is at the top. they probably wouldn't let you have a fire for fear that the wall colors would be compromised. now, that's a comment that you hadn't expected. anyway, in a perfect world it would be fun. check out "slot canyons" on google. thanks for writing. jen
i'm glad you enjoyed inside the slot, mike. i hope that you do come to this area at some point. there is so much to see. most of these are in what is called coyote buttes. thanks for writing to me. jen

Hi Mike - glad you enjoyed "Jaunty Giant". We were around 100m from this guy, I used a zoom for the photo. It's not safe to get close to elephants, they will charge vehicles and can cause a lot of damage to the car and you. That being said, this guy was obviously in a very good mood and having a great time spraying dirt over his head. He was practically skipping! We had to reverse down the road about 1.5 km's before he'd had enough of teasing us and wandered off into the trees. - cheers, kim
Hi Mike, thanks so much for your comments on "Amish Country". Actually, I don't really know if true Amish people own the farm or not. I just thought it was pretty. :-)
Thanks for taking the time to view and comment on 'Bryce From Below.' I didn't see the 'rock people' until after I posted it, actually. I guess it gives a nice size reference for the rocks.
Thanks for your kind remarks on my posting "Sheesh 14". The shot is of an African Warthog. Who says they're not attractive? It caught my eye and yours!
Mike - thanks so much for making a comment about Road to Hana - my FIRST posting!! :) Yes it was a CRAZY drive. Did it once, and will never do it again! lol Now I know why the "I survived the road to hana" shirts exist! :)
Hi Mike, Thanks much for your comments on Rocky's Pal! Glad you liked it. The picture really didnt do the real thing justice; it was really awesome being there. Appreciate the visit & comments! ~Dan
Hi Mike and thanks for commenting on my new wallpaper. It didn't take as long as you think or it didn't feel like it anyway. I like doing this kind of stuff so the time seems to fly for me when i am doing them. Glad you liked it.
Nice to see you in my butterfly gallery, Mike. I suppose the eyes of a "peacock butterfly" drew your attention. As far as I know these eyes are supposed to discourage predators. This time - quite the opposite, lol. I hope the flutterfly was an enjoying feast for your hungry eyes... As to my camera KM Dimage A 200+ DCR250
Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
Thank you for stopping by and commenting on "Unknown"
I have not thought on game illustrations or anything like that. I've just been doing this since the very beginning of September. That's a cool thought though, perhaps somewhere down the road.
In this image, I used Vue Infinite. I also use True Space, Bryce, Painter, Paint Shop Pro, etc.
Kia Ora Mike, I was so delighted with your lovely comment on Morning Shower. I am a bit tired of doing flower pictures but it is comments like yours that make me want to go back and try another :)

My Sandy Beach 2 image was taken on a very foggy and overcast day. I had to do some heavy photoshoping to get the detail that I wanted in this image. Thanks Mike for your support and comments on this photo.

Thanks for your comments on my on my pic "Close up of Heckington Windmill ~ Lincolnshire"
i know the mill is looked after by a group called Friends of Heckington Mill & is able to drive four pairs of millstones due to the 8 sails /
I think it still works (not sure if its on a fully commercial scale) — i know its open to the public (just not that often in September when i was there).

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Thanks Mike
For taking the time to comments on my pic "A View from a Supermarket ~ St Botocph`s Boston "did a bit of cropping / removed a few lamp posts — another lucky shot!

Hey Mike...thanks for commenting on "Washington Memorial Chapel"...I'll have to look through the HD for a street level shot. I remember there being a lot of traffic and having to time my shots in between, so I'm not sure if I have any good ones...
