Thank you, thank you, you are very kind. I love this town Ohrid, and this lake, it's wonderful. The town is very old, but the lake is one of the oldest lakes in the world.

So you live in Louisiana...I lived in Marksville for a time, and learned how to cook yummy cajun food. I also lived for 14 yrs in Bossier City and partly in Shreveport. I miss the Cajuns..and the friendly people in the South a lot...and I miss mostly the wonderful seafood from the Gulf Coast...welcome aboard..verena

Thanks for the comment. Yes, it is very beautiful here. They say the lake is three million years old. There are very old churches and monasteries from the 9th century. And the nature around is wonderful.

Made all that running about worth it (buying the guide book also helped with the naming all the different parts of the Castle - £2.99 well spent ~ ha ha).
