This is shot from the Western shore, on the North face of the bridge.
That island in the middle... I think it's from when it was struck by of ship... I think, they had to move it because of debris, but I'm not sure, and wiki isn't telling me...
Wait!! It's from the floating arch bridge from when they were building the bridge!!! hooray!

hi nick, i know that you have many lighthouses in australia. this is probably the most recognizable one in the united states. i have visited it many times but on this trip got to climb to the top. composing the photo is hard because the lighthouse is so tall and beccause usually too many people are around. thanks for commenting. i really do appreciate it. jen
