Hi Susan, fellow Phoenician Resident :) Nice to see someone else crazy enough to endure the scorching sun ;) I live about 30 miles west of phoenix in little old Buckeye, I like your photo's. It's a shame this monsoon season has been so dry :( I'd love to see more weather changes so I can snap more pictures ;) Hope you enjoy the rest of what's left of summer :) Keep up the great photos :)
Hi Susan: Glad you liked "you beauty" You know a lot of these plants I've uploaded would grow very well in Arizona. This one is a Protea and originated in South Africa but grows well in our Aussie climate. Cheers Al.
Thanks for commenting on "Droplets". I agree with you, I usually prefer more contrast and darkness in photos as well, but the original was very soft, and I tried to keep the early morning feel in the air. I must say there is nothing like it, although if I go again, I should bring another layer.
Hey Susan,
Thanks for the feedback on "Rusty" not a lot of people appreciate texture, to me it is the raw basics for all photos. Texture rules.............John
Tks Susan for your comments on BlueJay. I will keep trying for a much better shot. Will take me some time. The focus was a bit off as it was windy as heck and I was crouched behind my bench to sneak in a shot.

Thanks for stopping in to see and comment on "pumpkin guardian". I was so surprised when the rooster stayed put for a photo. He was NOT giving up his spot!
Hello Susan. Thank you for viewing my Pear Meteor photo. I'm glad that you liked it and took the time to comment. The star backgound makes a good wallpaper by itself but if I just uploaded it all you would see would be a black thumbnail. I got the idea from pixelpusher's Stoned Apples image.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.

Thanks for your kind words on "Great Grey", Susan - I think tawny owls are probably my favourites, but the horned owls and eagle owls are certainly spectacular birds. Glad you liked this one too :-)
Thanks for the kind words on "Genetically Engineered Trusses", Susan. Hehe, thanks for the truffle pig idea...I have two pooches that I swear are very close relatives;-)
Hey Susan, thank you for the comment on (Swan Song). I took this picture in Switzerland and as far as I know there weren't any alligators in the area, so I think the swans are safe for now :). There sure were a lot of them there!
Hi, Susan, and thanks for your kind comment on "Will pose for food". I'm pretty sure it was just breadcrumbs on the table, rather than paint or anything worse ;-)
Yes, he is fluffy, I am sorry to say that I had to give him to another home recently as he took to using the carpet as his personal sandbox, never did that before in the six years that I had him and his sister. was kind of sad to give him up but I had to cut out the carpet and padding on a large section and I couldn't break him of his bad habits and just now the smell is almost gone. thanks for your input and comments.
Well Susan, I think I could handle avoiding most of the snow. If we are lucky we will have snowat sea level for the holidays. Thanks for the comment on "The Gift of Winter". I appreciate it:-)
Hehe Susan your comment on "Eggs Included" made ne smile big. I had to search the net for that info so I am alright I think;-) I learned just as you did about these little fellas;-)
Thanks for your compliment on "Day Lilly Lit." I'm new to this site, so the first comments on my photos from you and several others have made me feel welcome. Steve
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
Hi, Susan, and thanks for your comment on "Albireo". I keep far enough away from the swans so I'm not risking my fingers, thank you - a healthy respect and a 10x optical zoom are useful things to have! And yes, thanks, my Christmas was good - hope yours was too :-)
Thank you for the wonderful words about "The Beginning", Susan.. Im glad you liked it :) Its quickly become one of my favorites that ive done.. I just hope everyone can understand the name hehe..

Sorry for beating you to the picture (Reflection of Ra) - It's hard not to notice that one. :) I can't wait till you post a picture from downtown. It's nice to hear from a neighbor. I'm going to have to check out your gallery.
Thanks for the comment on "shades of grey" I'm really glad you liked it. :)
by the by...I was browsing through your pictures and was wondering if there was any possibility of getting a higher resolution of "golden" posted. I realllly liked the photograph :)

Thanks Susan for stopping by and looking at "Enchantment". Glad you like it. How flattering, a water-color, or a pastel! Do you paint? I think that photography and painting are best friends, don't you? Thanks again, Sincerely, Marilyn

Hello Susan. Thanks for the comments on my image. I'm glad that you like Floral Beauty. Sometimes I like a nice tight close-up better than a full view. I don't think it's a poppy. It was on a large bush.

Susan.
I am really behind with my correspondence so I apologize for the delay about your comments for my Horses in the Morning Fog image. Thank you for the input.

Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art.
It is a solar phenomenon,
where the artist collaborates with the sun.

Good morning Susan
Thank you for your appreciation of "Cactus flower at first sun". I am very glad that you like it.
The photo happened as the result of a combination of luck - that I drove my wife to work that morning, that I happened to glance in that direction as I drove past, and that there were no cars around when I did a fast U-turn to go back <grinning> Even forgot to close the car door as I got out.

Hey wow, cute Icon!
Your shot of the "canna leaves" is amazing. I've never seen such a colourful plant as that, I don't think. Your other shots are pretty cool too, though I haven't looked at all of them :P
Keep up the great work! xxx
Pussy Willow was an unplanned shot that turned out nice with the subject being backlit and the background shadows turning dark with the fill flash. Thanks Susan for viewing and commenting on this image. I'm glad that you like it.
Russ
Pussy Willow 4 shows some of the furry buds just emerging. I love this series of photos And this second photo shoot came out as nice as the first. Thanks Susan for viewing and supporting this image with your nice comments. I'm glad to provide my friends at Caedes with these images.
Russ
Hi Susan - it was good to hear from you again on "Light + Water = Life". Thanks for your lovely comment :-) It's certainly a great place to visit if you ever get the chance....
Hey Susan, how are you? Good to hear from you, I was wondering where you were.
Tks for your comments on Just Taking A Drink! Glad you liked it.

My Dear Ole Swany - Tks Susan, I have not cropped this image nor done any maniuplations on it. The water was that dark, and that just so happened to be how I took the image. I am sorry that you didn't like it. Don't feel badly that you expressed how you see the image because beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Smiles and hugs,
JuneBug

Thank you Susan for your kind comment on "Northern Right Whale Dolphins". This particular pod spent 10 - 15 minutes with us. Bow riding, diving beneath us, and just generally having fun with us in the area.
Hi Susan,
MOOOO !!...(Chewing the Cud)
Thank you very much for your comments.
MOOOO !! ...My name is "Cuddle", because I'm ALWAYS chewing the Cud !

Hi Susan...thanks a lot for your visit and comment on Nobody's Fool...the cat in the pic belonged to a friend of mine...the 3 cats I've had in my own life thus far are like yours, they sleep, eat, and get fat...but I love them anyways.:Pat.
Good morning Susan
Thanks for your comments on "Eastern Water Dragon", pleased you enjoyed it. This animal must be very used to people, as it was sunning itself on a rock beside the path. Was able to get within a couple of feet for the frame and it didn't budge.
Enjoy your day

Hello Susan, If he were running towards me I would have not have been there. Sometimes cowardice has its advantages :-)
Thank you for your comments about “Memorable Guest”.
Thanks for your comments on my "Haunted House" photo. I think it is actually for sale, it is right next door to my mothers house and it is only used as a summer home for a family from the U.S. last I heard it was up for sale.
