Hey Anthony, Thanks for the complements on "Speaking Words of Wisdom IV:Let it Be" they are appreciated. ...and now that you say it it kind does look like a computer animation. agree about the house. Thanks.
I'm glad you like Slitheren. I agree it would have been nice to have the whole snake in focus but given his size (about three inches long) I had to sacrifice depth of field for size. The twig he is wrapped around is about half the diameter of a pencil.
thankyou for the comment on "desert shadow" the front picture is a bit pixalated because it was really resized, the origional was like 150 x 100 pixels. but i dont think it looks too bad considering.
Thanks Anthony for the comments on "Rusted and Busted". I love these nostalgic type of images also. Like Dah; maybe that's why I shoot them, what do you think?
Awww Anthony..thanks for the glowing words you left on "Eye See You". I am so blessed to have a Butterfly Conservatory near my home. I still have to be patient enough to capture them on film, but it makes it a tad bit easier than chasing thru a field! Glad you enjoyed. :))
Hi Anthony - Thanks for the comments on "Grasshopper". Sometimes I think insects have been destined to inherit the Earth seeing as how many there are of them.
Thanks Anthony for looking at "A Rocky Beginning". I hadn't really thought that much about it. That was the best side to shoot from. I may unconsciously try to do the left to right thing. hmmmmm Thanks for pointing it out.
Hi again. You’re right about the lack of contrast on "Riding the Thermals". The sun had moved to the other side of the cliffs, and the desert (unless there is sun at an angle) really does lack contrast. I guess that is the price I pay sometimes for living in a desert. On the other hand, at the right time of day it can really be lovely.
Thanks Anthony for the nice comments on my "Otter Creek 2" photo. Compared to the original slide this photo is a bit dark but I was trying to capture the light through the trees and on the water. It lost some in the scan process.

Hi Anthony. Glad you liked "Looking For Breakfast in All the Wrong Places". As far as the red ("in the lower right corner") I don't see any on my monitor. Hope your monitors not going out. Let me know. Thanks again.
Thanks for dropping in to see A Moment of Perfect Beauty. The trees touching the water are what drew me in to take the shot in the first place. You know how you see something beautiful, then you have to try to figure out how to get others to seed it in your photo? Well the trees were my attempt to do that.
Thanks for the comment on "Is It Safe". Yeah it was extremely lucky timing. Hope you check out my new pic. of the deer, it should be posted pretty soon.
Thank you Anthony for your comment on "White Caps" I'm glad you like my variety. I tend to lean towards sunset photo's mainly just because Arizona is abundant in gorgeous sunsets. But I love taking photo's of everything ;-)
Anthony; Thanks for your comments on "At the Dying of the Light". You are most certainly correct about the light changing from minute to minute. I took about a roll and a half of images as the light changed and this is the best of the bunch.
Anthony. Now ya got me scared. Move into your comfort zone. hmmmmmmmmmmmm
Maybe I'll just stick to photography, you're too good to go head to head with. At least for the next 5 years. That's when I'd catch up to where you are now. WAIT, and then you’d be 5 years ahead of me again. Nuts, guess I'll just stay where I’m at.
Thanks Anthony for the nice comments on my "Nags Head Beach" photo. This is one of the first attempts at producing an artistic photo using a digital camera. The depth of field is not as deep as I wanted but I'm pleased with the results.
Russ
thanks so much for commenting on "now and again" and thanks for tellin me why people dont like it lol. the grass was made with kinda a paintbrush type tool and then after i added a shadow effect to it. thx for takin a look :)
Howdy Anthony. Thanks for such kind words on “Little Ruby Throated Hummingbird”. I’ve been photographing them for about 4 years now and only caught that Ruby Throat “flash” once. That image didn’t come out too good, I had just set up and the image was over exposed. Darn!!!!
Twice in one night Anthony, wow. I'm really glad you liked "Foggy Mt. Rainier Sunrise from Reflection Lake". When I started photographing you could just see the Mountain. A little breeze came up and 15 minutes later the fog was gone. Just the right place at the right time. Thanks again.
Thanks for your comment on "Horse Crossing for Signpainter - Rework 1" - I just worked directly onto the jpeg, which then converted itself automatically into a photoshop pic. When I was finished just reconverted back, and no apparent loss of quality for PC viewing.
I have some more ideas - so keep watching!
Thanks Anthony, for the great comment to: 'The 4 Seasons', really appreciate that. Also I appreciate your constructive critism. I already have another version wich has have more envorniment(spelling). But what exactly do you mean? What do you want more?
Thanks already.
Anthony, good catch. Some times I hate spell check. It certainly is a good thing I can Edit the name. Thanks for the look, good words and keeping me from looking the idiot (at least to most people).
Thanks Anthony for your comments on “Just Visiting”. I love soft focus; it gives the image a very dreamy look.
It is taken with a Canon f2.0 Soft Focus Portrait L series lens. The wider the aperture the more the soft focus is noticeable. This was shot at f-4 for 8 seconds using Fuji Velvia.
Hi Anthony: Thank you for your comments on "Golden Afternoon". The black areas are shadows. I think they add an air of mystery. Notice the asymmetry of them that's a dead giveaway. haha
Thanks for taking a look at "Curved Walkway" and directing my attention to the other photo. I like the angle on mine better but otherwise the other picture is much better...brighter, more detail, and of course, much larger. Thanks again.
I noticed that you are learning to use Maya. There are some great free video training sessions online at http://www.digital-tutors.com/digital_tutors/display_vdetail_appView.php?videoX=158
Thanks Anthony for your comments on Dizzy # 2.... im glad you like it.. and yes it does look as if its moving... not a good idea to look at if its late and your tired or you have been drinking....LOL...

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.

Hey, thnx for commenting on Kryptonite :) I wasn't too sure about it, and i'm still thinking of messing w/ it some more and reposting. But thnx again :)
Hello Anthony. I'm pleased to hear from you and I hope all is well with you. Thanks for your comments on "Leafed All Over". They really are appreciated. I was fascinated with the colors, patterns and uniqueness of the mold spores on the leaf.
Thanks again, this time for your comments on "As the Seasons Change". That is a very astute observation. I hope I'm beginning to learn a little about how to use the digital darkroom as well as the films counterpart. I will continue to practice.
I tried to email my camera to you but I crushed it in my scanner... before I notised I didn't have an adress to send it to. ^_^ Sorry, bad joke. :p I'll have to buy a new one sooner or later anyway since I feel I almost outgrown it. I'll not have the economy for that though in a foreseeable future. (Nor the time really but I guess one find the time somehow for the things one love. :) Anyhow. thanks for your kind words on "Study in Read". (And thanks for your sensibel posts on some less sensible threads lately. ^_^)
Hello Anthony. Glad you liked "Against an Angry Sky". I waited around for the sky to get even better but it never did. I managed to be there for the best.

Thanks Anthony for your comment on The Alley...I very much appreciate it. It's a little different than my usual posts (non-vector) so I'm glad you liked it.
Hello old friend. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on "Twilight".

Thanks, Anthony, for the compliment on "Lakeside Early." I'd love to claim credit, but nature played the overwhelming part. I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for letting me know... Steve
Hi Anthony, thank you for your nice and detailed feedback on "Orange" and for taking the time think about improvements - much appreciated!! I'll try next time to place the focus more in front...
Hhhheeeelllllloooo Anthony. It's mighty fine to hear from you again. It's been a while my friend. Thanks for the comments on "I'm Getting Very Very Sleepy -wanna bet your life on it". The image has been staring me in the face for a long time. I debated about putting it up and decided that I kind of liked the slight motion of the tiger’s muzzle. It adds just a hint of the energy he is capable of. Thanks for the critique and for visiting me again!!!!!! How is everything with you? Well, I hope.

Anthony you certainly have a sharp eye. I'm experimenting with Photoshop a little more than I used to and am glad to hear someone comment on the results with "Drifting Away". I'm pleased you like it.
You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat.

It's great to hear from you Anthony. I hope school is treating you well and that your health is good. Thanks for the comments on "Last Light #2 ". I didn't preview it full size before I posted it and it looks like you're right. I guess it pays to proof before post.
Take care and I'll talk to you later.

Hi, Anthony....I get the picture with respect to "Waste Management" and the black "frame" on top and bottom now. It's a super image and the "padding" looks fine. Wen
