we both have different perceptions, i envy yours, i would say i would enjoy sharing in your ability to identify detail but I also wager you think the same about my work. i am posting something new everyday... also thanks for your comment, I give credence to what you think. Tomorrow I am posting a water well, my first attempt and first in general oil painting
ah, i wrote i wish i had lessons because i thought you had to of had some! well done Eugene. You surely accomplished a lot with the (in my opinion) awesome tools you use. You didn't really improvise, true artists use whatever is around them, i used garden gloves, toothpicks, your credit cards beats mine. you are very talented, particuly bc you never had classes, i wrote i wish i had some because i dont know to use glosses or when to use them, and other products etc.. i assume with time ill experiment. I like your work a lot and toi aussi, keep posting!
Hi Eugene.. Thank you ever so much for perusing my gallery and leaving such wonderful comments! I'm delighted that you liked what you saw and took the time to tell me your thoughts. Hope that "Ultraviolet Waves" brings you much enjoyment on your desktop, as your positive words did for me :)
Thanks Eugene for your comments on "Fading Memories". If this wasn't in the middle of an urban park it could well be an old wood's road leading back to "the camp". Glad you enjoyed the photo. Have a great day. ~Wendell
how can one use letters, words or prose against its own institution? is it not to say that this accepted alphabet can portray intolerable thoughts against itself; the reflection of these words represent the meaning of ones mindless inquiry, generalizing became this text. . .read the marks behind a letter of assurance/ freedom is jailed within. . ." _ EaB
Thanks Eugene for your comments on "Foggy". Glad you enjoyed the scene. We get a lot of fog around here at night, but it's harder to photograph. There were several edits done to the shot to enhance the fog. Have a lovely day. ~Wendell

Eugene, I could never, ever, do it better than you. You are an artist. Not because you post on this site and thus awarded such a title, but because you have the heart, the soul, the eye, and the intelligence to take nothing and produce such lasting beauty.
Good evening Eugene. Thanks for your kind commentary on "Noise Complaints". Glad you enjoyed the photo and tale. Sometimes they just write themselves, others have to be left to stew awhile. Have a marvelous day. ~Wendell
Hi Eugene, Thank you so much for stopping in to view Mount St. Helens. It was truly amazing to stand there and see that in person. Thanks so much for the kind comment. ~Kim
"bautiful photo, is it in your aquarium or did you take this in the ocean?"
What your looking at would be about a 200 gallon aquarium. Fact is it is even bigger than that. But not mine. :) It is a big complement to me that people could not tell if I took the photos under water or through glass. Thank you.
People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative. Dan Winters - Photographer.

Hi Eugene. Thank you for your comment on "A Lifetime as Seen by a Tree." In it, you asked if this tree was an Aspen. I do not know if it is. It certainly has some of the chararctoristics of an Aspen. I will look to see if they have a name card on it. The rangers do place this cards throughout the park. ~~ John
Hi Eugene and thank you for the favs on "The Watch Tower" and "Emerging Circle." Even though Circle never made it into the "Main" gallery, I am very please by its acceptance with those who reviewed it. Again thanks ~~ John
Hi Eugene, thanks for your kind comments on "Promises of Things to Come". Glad you enjoyed the view, not bad for a last minute photo as the sun sank below the horizon. Have a great weekend. ~Wendell
Eugene - Thanks so much for faving 'Shepaug Flow 2'. A beautiful autumn day hiking the hills of western Conecticut offered some pretty sights. As the afternoon sun dropped, it reflected the yellow of the trees' late season leaves. Setting the tripod on the river;s edge, with it as low as it could be, the rapids were captured in this image. I am glad you liked it. Thad
Thanks Eugene - "another beauty john and i love the humour in the title, are all these beautiful shots taken around where you live?" Yes, well, within 20 miles - anything further and I would need help to get home.

Thanks for favoriting "I Will protect You". I do like that shot... I wish we had known at the time that Baby chipmunks can't digest cow's milk. We only found out later that Cat formula is what they need.

Hi Eugene, thanks for the comments on "Looking For Love" and "Tail End". Glad you liked the photos. Abandoned might have been a better title for the tennis court shot. I'm quite sure there are no sharks in the pond, but you can never rule them out. Have a lovely day. ~Wendell
Hi Eugene, thanks for the comments on "Front Row Seat". Glad you enjoyed the photo and narrative. I blame the maritime air. The bench is in no danger of being overwhelmed by a rock slide any time soon. Have a great day. ~Wendell
