Unfortunately,I haven't posted any pictures. It's taken me a long time to
get my hands on a camera. But pretty soon I'm going to California, so
I should get some pretty good pics there. :)

Hi Paul, my oh my what lovely words you left on my doorstep to read, and I thank you very much! "In the Spotlight" is a favorite of mine and you expressed it's impression very well! Please stop by for another visit! I also offer to you my big WELCOME to Caedes, and hope you enjoy the wonderful people on this site as much as I have! Sincerely, Marilyn

Oops!! Look! I responded to myself!! LOL on Me! ~Ouimon~
Ubet! I am still sitting here looking for elves in the picture :-) Lol. I better go looking for agates instead. At least when I sit and stare at a pile of rocks for long enough an agate will finally jump out at me :-) Paul W
Hello Paul, thanks for you comments on "orchid ruffles". I'm so glad you enjoyed. BJ's frame (bjb) and silo work adds a world of beauty to almost any photo! I really appreciate the vote of 10! Also, thanks for viewing and commenting on "a day of reflections." The Willimantic River is indeed a good place for trout fishing. There are several deep pools along a short stretch!
Hi Paul, Thanks for commenting on "Summer Garden", I spent considerable amount of time on this one. Plus I wanted to do something completely different. I am pleased you liked the white background..
While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see. ~Dorothea Lange
Hi Paul, thank you so much for your glowing comment on "Orange" - I appreciate very much your taking the time! Anyway, I'm looking forward to your sunflower pics.
Thank you Paul for your comments on "Woodlands". Sometimes I like to use my Canon 85mm Soft Focus lens to shoot nature images. It is designed for portrait images, mostly for women. It adds a softness to their image by bringing out a physical manifestation of their inner softness.
But I also like the effect it can give to Mother Nature shots as well. The setting has to be just right before I will even consider using it.
We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.

Hi Paul, and many thanks to you for liking and commenting on "Autumn Pink"! I totally agree with you about loving the beautiful season of Fall. It too is my very favorite. I enjoy the gorgeous array of colors! There are so many photographic opportunities, aren't there? Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks for your feedback on It's Black.. I was very surprised when it bloomed this year.. I had planted red and pink ones.. I have no idea where it came from but I am saving the seeds.. I do have a problem with light in that corner of the yard.. It is almost under a large maple tree and getting an angle right is sometimes difficult.. I really appreciate your comment..
Sunflower3 is another in a series of Sunflower images that was taken in the neighborhood. Thanks Paul for the nice comments. I'm glad that you like it.

Thank you so much, for your comment on Grandma's Necklace.. No, is is nothing like the necklace I broke.. That was a strand of pearls.. I recently re-strung that for my sister who has it now, two of the beads are still missing.... This one is made from pressed amber glass beads.. I collected the beads for years .. The necklace is all designed around the milleflori center bead..
I understand about the gardening.. I grew up on a farm and I love to garden..
SlartiMythbartfastica!!! LOL…I’m going to remember that one!! Maybe the name of the next Artwork! I’m really pleased that you like "Southern Cross Sunset". I had a vision of it in my head, one late afternoon when the sun was setting, and I just had to make it, though I found it was more effective to generate the sky. I live in Sydney – Australia. Most people wouldn’t be familiar with the constellation, unless they are from the Southern Hemisphere. It appears on the Australian flag (and New Zealands), and in conjunction with a neighbouring constellation ‘the pointers’ was used as a navigational tool. Southern Cross Info. Thanks for your interest. (By the way – I copied over a real photo of the constellation, so it was close to the original as possible). Cheers…
Hey there! I LIKE SlartiMythbartfastica!! Slartibartfast is not my real name, but a character out of Douglas Adams novel / tv show 'HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy'. He designs planets and builds them! So - I couldn't stop laughing at your creation, I think it's very clever! ;-)
In fact SlartiMythbartfastica could be a new character on 'Futurama'...cheers!!

Thanks for your comments on my posting "remember when? - Fixer Upper"
This was photographed in the state of advanced disrepair! *wink*
Actually, in the Province of Ontario, Canada. You would NOT want to rent this place, trust me. I can send you a few more pictures if you wish to attest to this truth!
Thank you so much for commenting and voting on Sunflower.. I am honored to be in your favorites.. I think my squirrels did me a favor when they ate the Russian Giants and planted these in their place.. That plant is almost 14 feet tall and still producing gorgeous flowers..
Thank YOU for visiting and commenting on "Webster Falls". I had a good time taking a shot of the falls at a good angle and I'm flattered that you liked it. Thanks again :)
Haha, yes I do play ... right now I have an Art & Lutherie acoustic and a Peavey electric. It's great that you're a guitarist too. It's such a great instrument. I played bass for a while but I'm done with that now lol. Back to my guitar.... You keep on playing too :)
Thanks for your comment on "Mirror Lakes". The image is generated using a freeware application called Terragen (http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/) I suggest you have a go at it!
Hi, Paul...you asked "where is your Valley of the Jolly Green Giant." It's in Le Sueur, Minnesota. I was born and raised there. <G> I now live in a twin cities suburb. My family vacationed regularly in the Brainard/Nisswa area...always stopped by the Paul Bunyan amusement park, which I hear is no longer there...? Beautiful country. Hi, from a true, blue Le Sueurite! LOL!

Hello Paul. Thank you very much for the kind compliments on "Almost Summer." I was most fortunate to receive that beautiful image to work with from someone who takes gorgeous shots. All I did was crop, frame, and remove a buzzer which I'm deathly afraid of! lol
Thanks for the nice comment on "Moonlight Mood Fly", Paul! I'm very glad you find a time to see my work, and to express me your opinion. I appreciate it.
Thank you so much for your comments on Sunrise. It is very hard to decide when to push that button on the camera, but that morning was so wonderful it was hard not to share.
Paul, I'm really appeciative of the very kind comments you left on "Together We Stand". I'm very pleased you liked it.
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling; “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

Thanks Paul for your kind comments on "Just Dropping in For a Quick Snack". The image was shot with a Canon Rebel XT at highest resolution. Your praise coming from someone with such beautiful Sunflower images is quite an honor. Thanks again.

Thanks very much for your nice comments on my works from 08/26/05, Paul. I'm glad you took a time off to see the pictures I present in Caedes. Good luck!
Oh, hello again! And thanks for tripping through my gallery. "Natural power" is one of my favorite shots, too. This photo is at the Willimantic river in Connecticut. I have several shots of the same area, different seasons.
