New Brighton is a lovely place but needs some new ideas and lots of money spending on it. It still gets huge numbers of visitors on hot summer weekends but there is little for them to do. There have been lots of schemes to renovate the place but none have come to fruition.

Thanks, Antonio, for commenting on "Liverpool's Crystal Palace". The Palm House is a wonderful building now it's fully restored and being managed properly. It can be hired for private functions and my niece was married in it and had her Reception afterwards in it a couple of years ago. It was like being in a fairytale palace.
