Thanks a lot Gerald for dropping in to see my "Oops excuse me!" bubbling shells. I had such fun taking shots on the beach - wherever I looked, there was something to see. Thanks again, Kate
Gerald, Thanks for commenting on my macro of the highlighter. I am pleased that I was able to offer an image of your liking. You had asked about my equipment.
In this image its a Sony DSC-H1. The sony is a 5.1mp P&S that gets the job done. It has one of the most amazing macro settings I have encountered. The focus ability is such that you can LITERALLY touch the lens (carefully!) to an object and it will provice crisp focus. Its really unbelieveable. Thanks again and Happy Shooting, -brian.
Hey thanks for your thoughts on "Sepia Castle"...I'm really glad you like it. It is Leed's Castle in Kent, England, a little while's drive outside of London...definitely a cool place. Thanks again!

Hello Gerald. Thank you for you thoughts and comments about “The Hunters Strike”. I agree that the reflection makes the photo. Without it the photo would be just another shot for the records.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Thank you very much for your nice comments about Liechtenstein Garden Palace and Liechtenstein Garden Palace Sideview. I was happy to read your comments, since I ask myself now and a while, if people really want to see all those buildings ...
................Wow! How big is this field?...................
@
Hoi,Gerald!
It looks bigger , because of the low angle, I took this photo!
It is about 50x100 metres!
Thanks for comment on my crocus field, and I wil give you a great compliment
for your gallery!
Kind regards!
John
Thanks for the comments on 'Mt.Rainier from Sunrise (HDR)' very much appreciated. Trust me...I have a hard drive full of bad shots. Some so bad that I cringe when I see them. One day I will do a major cleanup and reclaim some hard drive space.

Please know that I enjoy your work even though I don't always get to comment. I try to look at (and enjoy) all your new posts and always appreciate the time you take to stop in at my gallery as well. Have a happy day ;) Anita
Thanks Gerald for commenting on my picture “Orange Black Tip”. The occasional trip to the butterfly garden is the extent of my photography when it’s this cold.

Quite frankly I don't want this anywhere near my groyne! :-) Lovely use of color.
(Above re the rusty groyne)
Smack!... That's what happens to naughty Geralds! lol
It is wonderful colour when the sun shines on it. Unfortunately the land to the sides of the seawall is crumbling away - and we have a scheduled (top grade) monument almost falling into the sea. Not to worry, they are putting up a decorative gate to this old old church site, so that all right isn't it? Cynical? Moi? Kate
:-) :-) :-)
Thanks for the great comments on "Gator Heaven", but I'll tell ya honestly....It's a REAL Picture!! I took it, in one of the convention hotels in Orlando!! :-)
Hi Gerald,
Thanks for your comment on "Dry", I do appreciate that,
I actually like the size of the flower, it is like a giant in a small house, this exaggeration adds something to the image I think,
It is nice to know some people might have an other point of view, thanks for that,

......your lovely words on snub-nosed fellow overwhelms me with pride!... I was surprised to discover so many insects feasting on these flowers. What a great opportunity to take a good shot. You have to beware of busy bees though. Thank you for your visit.
And a big and warm welcome to Caedes :o))
