Thank you for the comment on "Reflections on a pond",it is very appreciated, thank you for adding it to your favorites list too,it is very nice of you.Have a good week.
No I did not fake the background in my "kitchen Window", is the photo that appears in this way, different lights. Thank you very much for your nice comment! Have a very nice day!
Hi Roger, thanks for adding "Wright Height" to your favorites. Thanks as well for the comments, much appreciated. I like your description much better than mine. All I did was take a shot out the window one day, didn't really give it much thought. Have a nice day, ~Wendell.
Step1 Thank you for making the effort to critique this one.
Most folks fall into the habit of just saying great shot etc. because it is so much easier than thinking critically.
It does require special stuff to get this close. I have a 100mm Macro lens with a full set of extension tubes attached for this shot.
Step2 Thank you for the critique :0)
It is nice to hear you like my landscapes. I hope to have opportunity to take more of those soon. The weather and the season in general has not been photogenic around here for a while.
Hey Roger, thanks for your kind comments on "Just Duckie". Glad you liked it and much appreciated.
I find that if you make no sudden movements you can get within a reasonable distance of most wildlife. You have to trial and error the situation until you figure what they consider to be a safe distance. Using a zoom lens doesn't hurt either.
I think this particular duck is semi-tame, the town keeps them at the park year round and clips their wings so they fly off. The wild ones, unless you're offering them food, move away if you get too close.
Thanks again Roger and have a great weekend, Wendell.
Thank you Roger for leaving those kind comments on Lady Of Laxey and my other posts!....I appreciate what you say, I am still very much a learner in post processing photo's, although I have been 'taking' pictures most of my life!
I am using the basic Nikon camera imaging programme, these photoshop and other's seem to be a bit mind-boggling to someone who likes things easy!...
I will take your comments on board to rectify any problems
Hi Roger! Thanks so much for stopping in to view Moody City. How lucky you are to live so near the water. I have missed it since coming back home! Thanks for commenting...have a wonderful day
~Kim
Thanks Roger for your comments on "Whiskeyjack". Glad you liked it. As I said I got lucky on this one. He actually helped me out by flying closer to me. I thought I had blocked his head with the branches at first. Have a great day, ~Wendell
Hello Roger - I'm absolutely over the moon to hear that my modest effort "Chenoweth's Old Place" has been granted the supreme accolade of being accepted into the illustrious pantheon of the Old Barn Society .
Hey Roger, thanks for your comments on "Taking a Stand". Glad you liked it and caught the irony. The site is currently being replanted with a mixture of hard and softwoods.
Thanks as well for faving "Frosty Flowers", much appreciated. Have a great day, ~Wendell
Magic Lantern Thank you for the generous complements Roger. But I must admit I have deceived you with this shot. It is in fact a light bulb. As for the psychedelic colors the Luminance, Saturation, and Density (LSD) ;0) sliders in the editing software had a lot to do with it....
LOL
Hi Roger,
Thank you for your comments on "One more big red flower".
I am a little tired of all the flowers for this year.
It's time to look for other subjects.
Hey Roger, thanks for your comments on "Stump Speech". The glow is from saturating the colours and the little guy was giving a rousing speech. Glad you liked it and have a great weekend, ~Wendell
Thanks for such nice comments and the fave on Suckling Roger. Glad you liked it so. I gave you subdued sunset a 10 in the VB the other day. Have a good weekend.
Thanks for your comments on "you run and you run" the smudge is actually something i cloned stamped out, my UV filter had a nick on it i discovered, got a new one now. I probably should have done a better job removing it though
Hi Roger, thanks for your kind words on "Slugging It Out". Glad you enjoyed the photo. These are just another type of shelf fungus similar to the turkey-tail ones. That poor tree was also very dead and slowly rotting away. Have a grand Thursday, ~Wendell
ICU C'ing Me Thanks for the complements Roger. Having him trapped in an aquarium helped get the shot. I have had no luck with snails either. For such slow critters they sure do move allot!
Hey Roger, the only treatment I can offer your ailment is to use a blindfold. But then you might end up wandering off the beaten path on one of your hikes.
Thanks for the comments on "Something Pink". Much appreciated and glad you enjoyed it to the point of madness :) Have a wonderful weekend and take care, ~Wendell
Titus 3:5-7, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6: Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7: That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
Why did Jesus Christ have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven? It is THROUGH Jesus Christ's blood that He saved us from Hell. If we could get to heaven on our own then Jesus Christ would've had to die again and again.
If you ANY questions please pm me.
Hi Roger, thanks for your comments on "Small Falls". Glad you enjoyed it. I'm surprised it came out looking this good myself. You can picnic all you like if you don't mind the biting insects that will be swarming around you. Have a great day, ~Wendell
Thank you so much for your comment on Sligo Abby. It was very flattering. I'll have to upload the color version of this photo as well. There are more Ireland photos to come so keep watching ;) Thanks again!
View of the prey Thanks for the critique my friend. Real life has been getting in the way of friends and hobbies lately. Perhaps it will let up soon :0)
Hi Roger
Many thanks for the kind comments and fave for "A Perfect Day - Holy Trinity Take Two". I'm so glad you liked it.
Much appreciated, as always
Bruce
Hi Roger, thanks for your comments on "Rude Behavior". Glad you enjoyed it. Well I won't tell anyone if you don't about the missing flowers. I thought I had edited that bit out before posting it. Have a great day, ~Wendell
Thanks for your critiques and comments on "Peaceful Waterfall". I knew that when I posted this picture that I it was going to get lost between all the other stunning waterfall photos. But, I liked it and thought, hey, why not? Thank you very much for your advice; I will consider it in the future. Have a good July 4th!

Revelation 20:15, "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the lake of fire..." Is YOUR name written down in God's book of life? Or are you destined for eternity in hell? Please don't reject God's greatest gift to you: His Son Jesus. It is only through Him that you can have eternal life in heaven.
John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believed in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Hi Roger, ... or is it now flowerbud... thanks for your comments on "Wet Look". I did say a light rain shower not downpour, that happened shortly after I took the photos, lol. Glad you enjoyed it and have a great day, ~Wendell
Hey Roger, thanks for your comments on "Obligatory Butterfly Shot". Glad you enjoyed it. I thought I recognized you from late night re-runs of that old detective series "Moth-Balled". Have a wonderful day, ~Wendell
Hello there Roger!
So glad to see you back commenting again. I trust the deal with the EOS Rebel went through O.K. I really enjoyed and was encouraged by the comments you made on my two last pictures. Comparing them to Thad and Bruce's work was high praise indeed.
Hope you have a great weekend
Michaela
Hi Roger. Thanks for the great comments on my recent pictures and, particularly, the fave for "Across The Borderline" - and, to answer your question on that picture, about 3 hours. I hope you're having fun with the new Canon.
Bruce
Hey Roger, thanks for your comments on "Definitely not a Moth". This was the result of another 5 minute hunting expedition. Thanks for identifying it as well. Glad you liked the photo and have a great day, ~Wendell
LOL- to get rid of that left corner (peaceful stream), I'd have to know how to use photo shop or something. Everything I post is how it took the picture. I don't crop or anything :) I'm barely learning how to use my camera- it will be a while before I learn any editing.

Thanks for your feedback on my picture 'Shaded', it's greatly appreciated.
You have some wonderful photos in your gallery as well. I especially like the fog collection. Amazing scenery.
Blackjack...Sorry if it's scary man, but I'm a Goth...There are artists on this site from all walks of life and lifestyles...Thanks for commenting, though...
I could have sworn that one was a strike, but on further review it turns out your correct. One pin did remain. ( second from the right still standing in the photo ) Thanks for the complements. I'll take credit for the composition and crop, the rest is Lightroom. Low light, high ISO makes for a lot of noise. Lightroom 3 noise reduction is as good as any in my book!
People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative.

Hey Roger! I'm still laughing over the golf ball comment. Thanks for taking the time to look at "Feather Fashions." No pond scum there, but the edge of the pond. I'll take care that. Ciao! Doug
Thanks for the input on "The Berries," Roger. Frankly I have no idea what I photographed, my knowledge of plants being much inferior to my love of color.
Hello Roger.
Many thanks for the lovely comments on my picture "High Noon at the OK Corral" and adding it to your favourites' list. Greatly appreciated. Sorry about delay in replying. I've been very busy recently. I hope all is well with you.
Michaela
Thank you for your comment on my Flame -1-. I am sorry to disappoint you and lead you thinking that I was a great artist, but at the same time I am not sorry because I don't want to claim that I am something which I am not. I do not have the time to spend on creating artistic work which I get nothing in return so I try to express my self in other ways, ways that let me do other things I like besides sitting in front of the computer and trying to make a masterpiece. As I mentioned once...I do not want to claim I am something which I am not - that is why I posted the site. Thanks.
Hi Roger. A big thankyou for the fave on "The Milky Bars are on me". I think we're lead to believe the Soviets don't exist anymore. I have my doubts about that, but can assure you, I'm an unreconstructed capitalist...........Bruce
