There ya go making me laugh again. Yes, I have been in Alcatraz (as a tourist!). It's an awful place, full of too much suffering and hate, and I swore I'd never go back. It seemed as though black stuff oozed from the walls. I'm not kidding! Maybe it's better now. That was 20+ years ago.

Hello, Terry! I've seen your gallery and loved the photos! Great macro and beautiful colors :) I hope to be seeing more of your works soon - adding you to my friend list will help me in that ;) Awaiting more photos and keep up the good work!
Thanks for your comment on "Raindrops", Terry :) The leaf was horizontal, but I've managed to take the photo in a way that the whole thing looks like it was vertical.
Hello again Terry! Thank you for stopping by at my bird photos - "Fishless" and "A symbol". Talking storks, the history about storks bringing children is a very popular answer to the question "Where do babies come from?" also here in Poland ;)
Hello, Terry :) Thanks for stopping by at my "MiniDonkey". If you like animals, more photos from the ZOO will be posted in my gallery in the upcoming weeks. Now that my exams have finished (successfully for me! :D) I'm as free as a bird and eager to makes some photos ;)

Thanks Terry for commenting on my curious squirrel picture “Hello Down There”. My favorite squirrel park is about 1.5 miles from my favorite frog pond.
Hello, Terry. Thank you for admiring "On guard" and "Until they're sparkling". I'm very happy you like animals :) I've bought my self a puppy last Monday! My old one, a 14 - year - old Pekingese named Duduś died last year, and left a truly terrible emptiness in my heart. But after a year I managed to encourage my family for another Pekingese, her name is Filusia and she's finishing her 3rd month right now :)

Hello Terry, I'm happy you liked "Behind bars". I think the animals at our ZOO in Kraków are very well taken care of - the best proof, I think, is the fact that every spring and summer there are many baby animals. Wolves and jaguars were born just this year - and I heard that's very hard to do when these animals are imprisoned.

Hi Terry - I didn't take my Hills of Tuscany shot from a tower -- once was enough! I took this one from the side of the road near Montepulciano, which, being a medieval town, is high on a hill.

I'm very happy you liked "Wawel Cathedra", Terry. I though the photo wasn't perfectly balanced - the horizon isn't 100%... horizontal ;) But I'm happy it's not a very visible flaw.

"Deer Under Glass"
Compliments are always welcome.
We have learned over the years living with all the critters, to plant native hardy plants and Herbs where the munchers roam. And to plant all the rest within about an acre surrounded be a 7 foot fence.. Ha thanks again, Joe
Hello, Terry - I'm very happy you enjoyed "Summer holidays" as much as I'm enjoying them. A lot of work's coming my way - I'm starting my monthly training in the hospital next Monday and the doctors' protest is still lingering so there'll be less than half of the cadre and twice as much to do.

E.) One Thirsty Fly
If there is another image in my gallery you think I should consider, I'm open to suggestions.
Hello, Terry, I'm glad you stopped by at my "Smiling" hyena :) I remember their laugh from Disney's "The Lion King" - my favorite animated movie from my childhood. I never actually saw a hyena smile before - that's why I was so surprised I captured a photo like that.
"For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if One died for all, then were all dead: and that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again." II Corinthians 5:14-15, KJB
Hello Terry! Lovely comment on "Collegium Novum UJ". Thank you very much for wishing me good luck! :) My part of the university is called Collegium Medicum - it's quite free from UJ's authorities because it has its own rector, deans and bursar :)
Wait a minute, Terry -- the sites you saw were in Italian or French? LOL Thanks for the research on the pink lizards and for all the great comments of late. :)

I'm happy you liked "Wawel Castle" - Kraków is a beautiful city to live in. It's also the most popular city among tourists visiting Poland and it's considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the whole Europe!
Hey Terry thanks for stopping by "Mediterranean Jellyfish". I'm not so sure I'd like that little guy anywhere near my mouth but he would make an awfully pretty sandwich
Hi there Terry, I want to say thanx for your great comment about my big bloo ocean photo. There is nothing quite like someone enjoying one of my creations. It means a lot to me, and I do appreciate it so very much. Verena
Hi Terry, thanks for the nice comments lately. The Tuscan sunsets look so different from ours because of the intense haze in the sky there during the summer.

***ATTENTION***Please help me! I'm about to buy my DSLR in a few weeks for my 21st birthday. Check out the discussion about it here.
Also, I'm trying to bring Caedes to myspace, so check out the thread here.
Thanks for you comment on Forest Canyon. I love the mountains of Colorado. I need to go back with my new camera. All I have are old film camera pictures.
"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
Thanks for your comments on my Little Town Overlook. No, my house isn't in this picture, but it wouldn't matter if it were, you wouldn't be able to see it for the two huge birch trees that tower in the front yard at about 60 feet!! I've tried to find it on Google Earth, and all I can see is the neighbors' houses!! :)PJ
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Hello, Terry, a big thank you for your kind words on "The Shire #2". It's my first landscape series that's why I'm so excited about any warm comments on my work :)

Hi Terry, thanks for stopping by and commenting on Winter Sunset. I'm so pleased you liked it. Now if I could just get out with the camera a little more. The personal life may settle down soon (unless the past 5 months are any indication....) but work will start heating up again starting... NOW!

Hello, Terry, I missed you & caedes a lot :) Thanks a lot for your kind comments on my latest uploads - I hope I'll upload more now that Easter's coming.

intention of arriving safely in a pretty
and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming,
"WOW! What a ride!"'
Terry, thanks for stopping by and commenting on "Stanley Hotel"! I really appreciated it! The hotel has such a great history outside of Steven King's "The Shinning". There was a funny story about Jim Carrey had a hotel room there. He had Steven King's haunted room, but due to unsaid reason Carrey didn't stay there a night.
