Welcome to Caedes! I am glad I could could help. I think that is the great thing about this community. Everyone is here to give helpful comments and compliments.
The most important thing is to have fun!
Thanx for you comment on "Trees" I do appreciate it very much. I'm working on this project now about our Botanical Gardens, so watch the space for more pics like that. The one, "Mushroom Babies" was also take at the Botanical Gardens. Hope you like that too.

Hi Pat, and thanks very much for your comments and compliments on "Morrab Gardens 2". tbhockey's comments about "ever descending quality" were made 18 months ago - although I don't get time to look at many images these days, what I have seen makes me think the quality is pretty good at the moment. There'll always be a proportion of less impressive work, but I think the community spirit here genuinely does help people to improve - it certainly helped me :-)
Pat, Honey, thanks so much for checking out ~Planning The Garden~ & ~Daniel Boone Homestead~. I am so glad you could stop by and leave comments. I appreciate every word!!
Thanks for your comments on 'Rushing Waters,' much appreciated. You can hang it on your wall, download it, print it, frame it, and bingo instant picture.

Dear Pat,
Thanking you very much for your kind appreciation of 'lilac at night' I am proud to inform you that for tonight I have planned another challenge - poppies at night. Only they grow on a steep and slippery road side but as they say - nothing but the best for my friends !!! LOL

Thanks for the comments on 'Kayaker's Paradise' I really appreciate it. I get hurt bad enough behind the camera I don't need to plummet down that river in a kayak to get any more thrills.

Hi again from Arizona! Thank you for stopping by "Gear down! Full flaps!" and leaving the great comment. And a special thank you for adding me as a friend! Hope you are going to get some more pix up here soon?!
Thanks Pat for your comments on “Great White” My plan for this photo was to use a high aperture (F-16) along with a flash to get the black background. I scoped out a plant suitable for the shot and waited. I was rewarded with the arrival of this big white and the capture was made.

Thanks for your comments on my picture “Super Fly” This is one of the pictures I took Friday at the Botanical / Butterfly Garden using my old Canon D-60. For those interested I posted Friday’s shoot on my pbase site in a gallery called “An Afternoon with an Old Friend the Canon D-60”. A link to the site is on my Caedes profile page.
Thanks Pat for taking the time to comment on picture “Tree Diner” Most of my squirrel pictures come from a city park in Ames. The squirrels are far from tame and a long lens is a must to get tight shots.
Thank you for the wonderful comment on Summer Jewels. And thanks for telling me what they are! I'm just terrible at flower names too. But I do know I love them!
Thanks again Pat for your kind words on "White Bluffs - Hanford". The area is quite a place. Desert and then the oasis that the Columbia River forms. This stretch is the last free flowing part of the Columbia River between Canada and The Dalles Dam just about 100 miles in-land from the Pacific Ocean.

Hi Pat, many thanks for your comment on my sunrise photograph. It was like this most mornings - I am lucky to have been able to see it and photograph it. Patti
Thanks for the comments on Paradise River 3' I really appreciate it. I'm not crazy enough yet to get into a kayak and get on these rivers...but I may get a little crazier as time goes on.

Hi Pat, thanks for your comments on my window photograph. I am looking forward to being there again in September, so the dream is really a memory. :) Patti
When I first saw this patch of thistles, it had about 5 Butterflies on it. Soon all but one were gone. I took dozens of photos of this little guy to get my Butterfly Kisses image. They are always moving and it's hard to get a good capture. Thanks Pat for viewing and posting a comment.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Hi Pat, I'm glad you liked my horse whisperer photograph. My camera does not always work well with lots of colours (just a basic digi), but the colours in this photo worked really well together. thanks for your comments. Patti
Hello Pat, Thank you so much for the comment on "Greetings". I am pleased that you liked the flowers. They are long gone, but I wanted to give them away again. LOL
Hi again Pat! Thank you for taking time to comment at "The Stretch". It's fun trying to catch subjects doing something 'non normal' that we don't often get to see. Thanks again ....

Hi there Pat and I think there is a whole group of gardeners to see to the gardens and baskets as this little outbuilding is behind the mansion in Tatton Park and tomorrow is the first day of the annual flower show. thanks for your comments. :) Patti

Millions of thanks for swimming by to check out my Seahorse On Land 8~D, I really appreciate it!! Just going to get the mail and there he was on my mailbox. Since taking up photography back in October I've noticed I see so much more now..always on the hunt, so to speak. Thanks again!!
Hi Pat, thanks for your comments on the archway at Tatton Mansion. It is an amazing old mansion and has been used in many historical films for television, including Pride and Prejudice. :) Patti

End of the Road ... First, before I forget, It's my truck and camper, (about 22 feet long and 11 feet high}, and I wanted you to get an idea of the size of these boulders. Now that I've done it in B&W, I'm going to clone the truck, out of it, as I never went back to move the truck for another shot. Glad you enjoyed this and my lake reflection, and thank you for the kind comments,Pat.
Hi Pat, I found your comments on the Girl on Steps interesting. I may just try what you proposed with it. I like playing around with the photos too, but I have Paint Shop Pro X. It does similar things. Sometimes I try things, but they seem like they are taking too much of my time and I drop it. Some of the functions I am still not that familiar with, but I am getting better with practice. I am glad for the suggestions. Sometimes people are too nice about leaving comments. They don't want to ruffle feathers, but I'd really rather know how I can improve my photos and don't mind a bit for a suggestion, in fact, I welcome them. Thank you so much. Cindy
Oh, thanks for commenting on the Riad. It was very beautiful there and what was most impressive about the Riad was that inside you could hear absolutely nothing of the city outside. I wouldn't mind having a garden in the center of my house, that's for sure!!

Hi Pat and thanks for dropping by "Uncle Smas Flightplan" I am glad you found the picture quirky, that was my intension. It seems to go with my dress sence...lol. Glad you liked it.
Pat, thanks so much for your kind note left at Plumeria. Yes, it's a tropical flower that grows in Hawaii but this one was shot in Texas. I appreciate your comments! - Patty
