Hi, thanks for your comment on my image Death of Eternity. You asked me how I made the image:
(I only used PS to make this image)
I started off by making clouds with two colours, render a lens flare in the top left, then mezzotint the whole thing in long strokes, radial zoom from out of the lens flare, put a film grain over it, adjusting some colours, and the flood in the bottom is made with the Flood filter that you can find on the website of flamingpear.com
And about that light in the left, I didn't exactly know how to name my image, so I called it death of eternity, the light represents eternity that is dying by slowly 'drowning' in the water, so far for the explanation of it all.
Heya Ashley...thanks for your wonderful comment on *Desire*...glad you liked it so much :D
I'm posting a variation of desire in tomorrow...I think you'll find it very interesting if you liked the smoke on the first one :P
Thanks again...and have a nice day!

Heya again, Ashley...thanks for commenting on *The Kiss*...glad you liked it ^_^
I also like the border fractal...I've used that one so many time now...I just can't stop...It always looks so pretty :P
Have a great day!
Hello Ashley,
thank you for your response on "The piano". I was pretty amazed by the great response on that one. It opens the door for some other creative compositions in the future.
See you around at Caedes!
thank you so much for your comment on "reign of fire" It was hard to get a good shot, it was pretty high up and i had to zoom in alot and it was right next to the shore so it was pretty windy hard to keep a steady hand.
but i would like to get a better shot the next time i go out there.
Hello Ashley. Thank you for checking out (Warm & Cozy). Sadly I don't get to live here, this is the house where my dad grew up. I do get to spend about a week here every year though so it is very nice. Glad you enjoyed the photo :)

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Hi Ashley
thanks for your comment on "flower in light 2"
you are right..background isn't perfect.
i wondered if i should do anything about that in photoshop...but desided not to.
Maybe i will in later time.
Hi Ashely, tks so very much for the generous comments on Just Dreamy! The swans were so very lovely to see up close like that. My husband hand fed them and fell through the ice, that was funny. Anyhow, you can peek in my gallery to see a few more of the swans if you want? I have a few nice closeups.

Thanks for the comment on "Camo", and "Stroll Through the Tunnel". I'm glad you liked them. I did acctually edit Camo alittle bit like most of my shots. I always shoot in raw so i can adjust the colors slightly.

Thank you for your comments on "Life is a Bowl of Cherries." I realize it is not smooth, but I thought it added a little character. I will keep that in mind next time though.
Good morning Ashley
My thanks for the constructive comments made on "Babinda Creek 01". I have received an earlier comment privately that a polarising filter may help my landscapes - the Australian sun is generally harsh, and even on a cloudy day like this one lighting conditions can be difficult - but that must wait pending finances (and the purchase of a real camera). As for unsharp - yes, I did use a very small amount, but there is little difference in this regard between the original and the copy posted - it is perhaps that I may have overdone the contrast - something for me to watch in future.
Enjoy your day
Romane
Thanks Ashley, for stopping in at "under the pier" and leaving comments. I tried the full centered cropping (had enough image) and decided to go off center. Guess I'm a little quirky at times. Still, I'm glad you saw something in it you liked. Thanks, Alexis

Hello Ashley, Thanks for leaving a few nice comments about “Bimbadeen” the name is Australian aboriginal one meaning “Place with a View”, which is appropriate because just out of site into the fog is a lookout with a marvellous view over the Hunter Valley (when it’s not foggy).
Dear Ashley,
thank you so much for your most adequate comment to my 'enchanted place'. LOL
I am not too modest but I AM still under the spell of this very quiet place ...
Hi Ashley...I have a daughter named Ashley...thanks a lot for your attention and observations on An Air of Mystery...glad to know you took some time over its' subtleties and that you found it as I hoped people would...I appreciate your time and comments.:Pat.

Hey Ashley,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment on "Metal Mountain" I've been waiting for some time to get in there and get some texture shots of this place. Ya, it's not the type of place you'd let the kids play in. Stay tuned, I'll be posting more pics from my little adventure in metal-land soon...........John
Thanks for your compliments on "Eurasian Little Owl - Athena Noctua - Steen Uil".
It sure is a funny "violent" character, and it's just one of "The Family" you "don't have to mess with!".

Thanks Ashley for your comment on Back In The Days... im very glad you liked it.. it looked so much better in sepia than colour, and i was trying to get the olde feel to it.. =)
thanks for stob by "roots or traces" very appreciate it. I really like the border color how is, is part of the other symbolims this image has, like the tree and the fire, the belly and all the elements themselves. thanks again. have a wonderful day!
Thank you for your comment on Place In This World, I'm really glad you liked it! If you ever need any help with blending and such, feel free to PM me.
God bless,
~Maria
Ashley, thanks so much for taking the time to check out and comment on 'Garden Tomb'...I'm so pleased you enjoyed it and I very much appreciate the kind feedback!
Thanks again!
Cindy
Thank you for viewing "Patriotism". Aiken proper is a not big place and there are a great many homes of colonial construction. We do have llamas here and ostriches also, but racing horses built this town and remain the focal point to this day.
Hi Ashley, Thanks for the input and comments on my Leonardo, turtle photo. It was dusk out when i took this shot, and being kind of a newbie at photography, wasn't sure what settings would do the trick, so i left it up to my nikon D50's auto settings... still learning, so i sure appreciate your input! thanks again, Carol
Hi there .. thanks for dropping by and taking the time to comment upon
Curious locks, ineptly twin'd.
I am glad you found it interesting. The focus was hard given the low light conditions. f9, 1/60 sec, 400 ISO. I am actually tempted to do an f16 shot with more light .. or a tripod!
The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brooks Anderson
Hi Ashley, thanks for your comments on my latest pics, especially for your imput on "Miss Lilly's Lollies". I agree, the clarity wasn't great so I took it down and tried to improve it but I think the light was just too bad to begin with. Anyhow, I really appreciate your honest thoughts. Cheers, Kelcey. ps. I just had a look through your gallery and you have some stunning pics in there, you have talent girl:)
Hi Ashley, thankyou for your comment on my "Welcome" pic. You should start sharing again, if you have lost your talent (which I doubt) then I'm sure you can get it back, you are are pheonix after all:)
I want to thank you, so much, for your comments on 'Not quite gone'. I value honest opinions here the most and don't consider your comments "bashin". We can't grow and learn if everyone tells us we're "perfect".
Thank you for taking the time to comment on '11 Jungle Way'. I'm sorry it was not to your taste, of course, but I really appreciate your honesty. You were really good about explaining just what you liked and disliked which is really very helpful. I'm glad, too, that you liked some of the other images in my gallery better. I seem to alternate between darker images and wildly colourful ones in both my desktop preferences and in what I create. I obviously didn't think of this one as "corny" or I wouldn't have posted it, but you may be right there. I certainly agree the image is one of my more nonsensical ones. I should possibly have left the sign out, at least, or integrated it better. Or something.
I hope to produce better images as I get more experience, so it is really helpful to get this sort of informative feedback. I find the c-index depressing because it is negative without giving me any idea what I might change. Thank goodness for the commenting system and thank you so much for critiquing this.
Thanks bunches Ashley for your kind remarks on Origami ! Much appreciated hon ! And I'm really happy that you chose one of my fractals to comment on too. Don't be a stranger !
Lauren
Ashley wrote about remainder.
That does look really neat. Looks like it should be some bacteria or something. Crazy colors, lighting, and dimension. Just an interesting random picture, nice.
Hoi, Ashley !
Thank you for this nice comment
I much appreciated it!
John
Hi Ashley,
since you're very young I'd not say you are uncultured :o)
You have all the time of your life to travel and see 'culture-stuff' if you only are interested (can't believe I said that *LOL*)
Thanks for your lovely comment on 'Dubrovnik #4', hope to see you in my gallery back soon :o)
Thank you so much for your gracious remarks on "crying rose". I believe your warm words surely brought comfort to our depressed beauty queen. She was afraid her beauty would pass away unnoticed but the incredible feedback showed that she was wrong.
Of course i do (that much i can remember). I actually have a few pictures of the creek laying around somewhere. The water was much too cold though... : )
Hi Ashley and thank you for visiting my gallery. When you look at a gallery, you see the progression an artist is taking.
I took a look at yours and found that you are very talented. In the eight years you have been coming here, you have only posted a page of pictures. I would like to see more of your art and see where you have traveled on your progression.
It is also great to see a fellow Ohioan on Caedes! ~~ John
