Hi Steve S,
Welcome to Caedes hope that your stay here us long and enjoyable. We seem to have much in common, both of us are retired and both live in the most beautiful state, Colorado! If you liked my wife's image "Mix Lake and Aspens" then log in to my profile page and take a look at her Mix Lake in Snow. It will knock your socks off!

Thanks for your comments on"SunKissed," glad you noticed that dead tree, I wanted it in the shot but I couldn't get as much of it as I would have liked or I would have lost the effect I was looking for. I did work it into another shot.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your comments on "Cold Water." I'm surprised I'm getting some decent winter shots. I can't wait for spring, this area transforms into one beautiful place. Then I can get to the summit of Chinook Pass which is awesome in spring and summer. It's probably under 20 feet of snow right now. I'm getting eager!

Hey Steve,

Thanks for the comments on "Hitting the Wall," oh yeah! If all that snow goes fast there will be waterfalls everywhere. The major problem is access in deep snow and rapid snow melt. Then we also have the avalanche problem. I have to travel the area in 4 wheel drive and still can't access many areas. So many photos and no way to get them (sigh).

Thanks for commenting on my Fountain. I'm glad you liked it and like I told the others, the camara I used here is a digital but I can't see the images when they've been taken so I just hope for the best and sometimes take more then one to ensure that I get at least one good one. Thanks again.

Heads Up ---- Thanks for the viewing, and comments. The background behind the tank was not that great, so I just cloned in some wood chips to focus attention on the prime subjects.
