I just stopped by at your very nice first post and decided to welcome you to Caedes as an artist (as I understant you've known this site for quite some time). So... welcome! Hope to see more of your work,
Jess
Thanks for your comments on "Magen's Bay - St. Thomas"...they're always much appreciated. I wish there was a little more to include in the foreground besides some boring shrubs...but there wasn't, oh well!
Welcome to Caedes :)
Thanks for the sweet and kind comments on Red beauty much appreciated.
You wonder about the blurry background... I took the flower out first then I blurry the background. Hope that make sence :) if not let me know and I explain more.
Have a great day :)
Hi there, my apologies for the late but nonetheless appreciative reply to your visit and thoughtful comments left on Any Bush...very pleased the image caught your attention and I am touched by your remarks...thank you for stopping by.:Pat.
Due to the recent slow down of the site, my comments and thank you's have been few as it was very time-consuming...will catch up ASAP...meanwhile, a group thank you to all and keep up the great work everyone.
"What other reason could there be to get up in the morning except to set ourselves free."
If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Thanks, Neil, for your comments on "Brilliant Cardinal." That is one of my favorites, too, and one of those shots that's probably a once in a lifetimer. I'll keep looking, though, of course :)
Hello Neil...Thankyou so much for viewing (FOOTHILLS), and for your comments, much appreciated..This one was taken in Scotland.....Thanks again...All the best...Mick.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Thank you so very much Neil for your attentive comments on 1 Pretty Face. Yes, God's creation is awesome everyday and so is He. I appreciate your post, thank you! Carrie
Neil,
Thanks for your comments on "Morning Swim?". The Orton effect is really easy to do in photoshop, it basically just consists of making duplicates, overexposing them, applying a Gaussian Blur to one, then combining them. If you Google it you'll find detailed directions.

Kia Ora Neil, thank you so much for your very generous coment on Pink Perspective.
I was delighted also that it led me to your gallery - you have some exceptionally fine pictures, a joy to browse.
Hello Neil...Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (GORSE)and for your comments, they are very much appreciated...The scene you see in the picture is about a five minute walk from my house...Thanks again...All the best...Mick.
Hoi hoi Pikman, just checked your gallerie page to see what you where up to nowadays... but nothing new ! whats up, still bussy with real life ?
hope to see some new updates from you if you can make the time.
Let me know please.
Hey there! I'm constantly working-at least 100 hours/week! Insane, right? Be patient, my boy! I'll get some of my river rafting shots uploaded. I'm curious. Maybe you would know. I can't find my posted images either in the NEW IMAGES category or in the permanent PHOTOGRAPHY files. For instance, my RED ROCK CROSSING landscape shot. Do you know why that would be?
