Madenur Dam
Uploaded: 04/28/11 3:15 AM GMT
Madenur Dam was constructed before its mighty cousin, Linganamakki Dam was built. After the completion of the Linganamakki Dam, this dam got submerged. This dam is a engineering marvel, constructed using clay, jaggery and limestone, the dam is still intact even after almost 70 years!!
All comments are welcome. Please be critical, I love to know what I can improve

Hey bro - thanks much for your comments and review of my upload Elephant Ride - Kottur;
As you know the images from from D5000 is not that sharp and looks a bit soft - I used to add a bit more sharpness and some times light to the capture before uploading.
Here in this capture I tried a tool named "Diffuse glow" which made parts of image seen as burned out [just some experimentation from the usual flow :)]. Once again thanks for the comments.

Hey Prashanth, thanks for your comments on "A Lady Enters" and "Old Church". Glad you liked them. The ladybug photo was taken on a slow Spring night, lol. Unfortunately she couldn't hold a tune, but she was a marvelous dancer. The church is as close to ancient ruins as your going to find around here.
