Please post more pictures of Sri Lanka because i would love to see some more of it. Your two posts are very promising.. especially the one of the woman. Feel free to Personal message me when you post a new picture and i will gladly have a look.
Thank you for the nice comment on "Asterias". It has been my desktop background for a couple of weeks now and thought it'd be nice to share it! I'm glad you liked it!
Looking foward to seeing more of your work as well, your first two posts sure wetted my appetite! Have a great day ~>Maria
Also, thanks for commenting on "Illuminate". Believe me, I had focusing trouble too. Take enough shots and one of them is bound to turn out alright. :-)
Hello Priyantha! Thanks for the nice comments on my Lake Blueridge image. I'm glad you took the time to view it. This is a mountain lake in North Georgia that we came upon while looking for something else. This shoreline was near a National Forest Campground. At the end of the shoreline is a young lady enjoying the foggy sunrise.

Good yesterday to you Priyantha,
Since we are divided by the international date line I am speaking to uin the future while you are receiving this from the past. Thank you for your input about my "Boathouse in Fog" image. I did try this image in black&white but I felt that it looked just like everyone's black wite fog image. I feel that the subtle colors adds a feeling of depth and mystery. I hope that you agree.

Hi Priyantha...many thanks for your kind appreciation of Rejuvenated...yes, there are many wonderful places on this earth...I am happy to know you enjoyed this image and found it to be one of those places.:Pat.
Priyantha, I appreciate your comments on my images. 'Back Porch View' and 'Dinner Time (1+2). I appreciate your interest in the color aspects of these images. I try to represent colors as how I remember them, and if they succeed I give credit to the natural world.
Thanks for commenting on Oryx Battles. We sat and watched this fight from start to finish, and it was one of the neatest things I saw while in Africa. I'm glad you enjoyed it as well.
Priyantha thanks very much for your comments on Speed. I have updated the comment to include camera and lens. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks again.

Thanks very much for your constructive comments on "Sunset over Mary River". When I next get some spare time I will definatly have a go in Photoshop and see what I can come up with! :)
Hello Priyantha! Thank you very much for those nice comments on my Hyatt Lane image. I'm glad that you took the time to view this image and I appreciate your support of my photos.

It seems to me that what wears us down the most in life aren't the chances we take, but the chances we dont take, the dreams we put aside, the adventures we push away, the questions that are never answered
Thank you for the honest opinion on my "Just another cup of coffee" .As a matter of fact I hadn't even tried to focus the image. I've just had a shot. I promise to upload something more accurate :)
Hi Prithyantha. The sun and clouds were moving across the field and I waited for the sun to be downfield on Sagert Field.Your comments were right on..I think that you have a good point about "Red Springs" took another look at it and I think that the tree on the right is dark maybe a distraction to some. Thanks alot for the input..Rob
Hey there..nope, no smoke there..it was preparing to storm, so there was a lot of action in the clouds...and I thank you a lot for your constructive criticism...verena
Hi! Thanks for your comment on «t r a m w a y 2 8».I was unaware of that this building would attract criticism as much!! But it is correct!! Perhaps you are right but it was difficult to avoid it, all seemed to lean on a side like other... In Lisbon, there are slopes so much here and there that sometimes all does not seem so much on the level!
Thanks for commenting on 'not at all Pink'! I agree about the sky. No filter was used, but the light was a bit flat; kind of a weak sun. I had tried (to no effect) to tweak it up a bit with a basic saturation adjustment. I will try a more selective approach on the sky alone. Thanks for the advice. - Dave
Hi Pri'....Kind thanks for your comments to my image 'Bolam Delight'.....I actually took this last week! and it did not need much done to it! Most grateful for your time.
....It is always the season for old men to learn........
Hi Priyantha, thank you for watching my pics and leaving a comment on "Cemetery Door", much appreciated. You are right with the lighting.... the left side of the picture is darker because of the natural lighting by the afternoon sun. I didn't use a flash to avoid unwanted reflections on the metal door. Thank you for your kind and detailed comment...
Thanks for the comment on "Predator" Thanks for the tip I wil do that, I did not noticed. The tones between one side of the cat and the other, I was focused on the editing of the fence. Thank you again!
Thankyou for your comment on HORSEPOWER......yes, I planned to capture the image at the angle you commented on.....it shows how magnificent these heavy horses are.
All the best....Mick
Thanks Priyantha for the nice comments on my Mountain Stream 10 image. I'm glad to be able to bring you this capture in time. This scene will never looks the same again.
Russ
Thanks for you comment on the Ape picture. I wish I would have had better camera when I took the picture. It was taken with a three year old digital camera. I guess its time to invest in a new camera.
Priyantha,
Thank you for the tips on my "bell tower", I really appreciate it.You're right about the power lines. The thing is, I don't have the editing program, (not yet), all my photos are unedited, except for some minor cropping. And the wall - actually I wanted the wall to show, I already cropped most of it. It gets cut off anyway when you open the full size.
Thanks again for stopping by.
Hi again, and thanks for the comment on "wonderful world".
I'm not sure what do you mean by saying the mountain looks artificial? I can assure you it is most real and in natural shape as the nature made it.
Thanks for your comment on "A road less traveled" No filter use here. In fact I do not even know what a warming filter is, I had to look it up (and I am still not sure). I took this picture out of the back window of a van as we were driving up a mountain. The only editing I did was to change the size from 1800x1200 to 1600x1200 and crop a little of the top because there was something on the window. I looked at some your shots and they are very good. You must know what you are doing. Thanks again.
Hi! Thanks for you comment on F1. It is quite a show and something you can’t describe. You have to see it for yourself. The speed of the cars is mind-blowing and so much faster in real life that on TV!!! You can't believe they can make those turns at that speed!!
Thank you for your generous words on back to September. I am so glad you found this image so appealing. This is what I like most in Caedes: in winter you can enjoy some summer or even exotic images...
Hi, thanks for your comment on Sunset Puerto Aventura Mexico i'd like
to say that the translation desc of the photo is more or less like "A looked like
beach before "Wilma Hurricane" destroyed everything in his way..." i'm glad
you liked. sorry mi english is bad ;)
Hello, it was very nice to find you accurate and wise comments about "Where are you AT" its make glad, the finally somebody see the real meaning and the message thru this piece thru the art expresion and its technique...thanks!!! wow.
Hello my friend.......Thankyou for your kind comment on (WELCOME HOME) The house is nestled snugly into the Cornish landscape, in a setting of near perfect peace and
beauty. With regards to the sky.....I captured the image just prior to a thunder storm and I am afraid I have no control over nature but I do take your point on touching up the sky... All the best.....Mick
I am grateful for your appreciative words on the "shameless cupid". He looks trival but in fact he symbolises something very serious. He is to commemorate the young people who were hiding themselves in the building standing opposite to my office during the II world war. The teenage people who were fighting against the Nazi forces and have died in the Warsaw uprising in 1944. And this is the reason for the granades on the bay lea garland.
Thank you Priyantha for your positive comment on That's Venice #3. I am really glad you like it and you. There is going to be more postings on this series, welcome.
Thanks very much Priyantha for your encouraging comment on Lily Series no.1. I achieved the blurred background quite by accident, but I'm sure you'll agree it's effective. Keep checking back for more!
Thank you, Priyantha, for leaving a comment on "Wiesbadener Rathaus", much appreciated.
You are right, I was a lucky guy to get the sky in such a moment..it was perfect blue. This picture was taken shortly before my best friends wedding...I was early and found this would be a fine way to spend my time....
Thanks Priyantha for your kind comments on this posting. It was not without challenges to take (through plate glass windows using available light at night) but it was fun and a temporary departure in my gallery. It's good to change it up from time to time.
I spend a fair bit of time in large cities as part of my work. I live in a small city so I find the large buildings of the new urban architecture facinating and good fodder for the camera. Glad you're enjoying it too.
Hi Priyantha, first, I must offer to you my very warm WELCOME to Caedes and I hope you enjoy your stay here! You will meet many nice people on this site! Secondly, many thanks to you for stopping by to view "Lofty Yellow"! I am so glad you liked it! I just can hardly imagine writing to a person in Sri Lanka, in the Indian ocean! My oh my, what a thrill. Your climate creates it's own paradise, doesn't it? How wonderful! Please stop in for another visit! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi there..I want to thank you for you comment about my Glad Fusion creation. You comments always make me think..and thats a good thing...I enjoy doing those liquefy designs very much...its for sure a challenge...thanx again!!!
Again, thankyou very much for your comment on Lily Series no.2. It's much appreciated. And by the way, I just posted the third, so it should be on soon!
Thanks Priyantha for the comments on "Harbor".Yes, it does look as if I used a filter on that but did not.I did edit a rather dull fogg photo and perhaps too much though...Rob
Thank you, Priyantha, for leaving a comment on "Burning Sky", much appreciated as always. Knowing you as a observant person and a lover of good photography, your comment means a lot to me. I'm glad you liked my picture.
Have a wonderful day....
Bernd
Hi Priyantha,
thank you very much for watching my pictures and leaving a comment on "Purple Sky".
I'm glad you liked it and really appreciate your time and comments. I have adjusted the hue and the contrast on this image in order to get that purple sky and a good contrast of the tree against the rest of the image.
Have a good time....
Bernd
