Thanks for the comment on my "Midnight Vista." I dunno, I rather like the thought of waking up to see a giant planet looming overhead. Must be because I'm a sci-fi nut ;)

Are you ready to go to heaven?
Ephesians 2: 8 & 9 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Think about it... Why did Jesus have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven?

Thanks for the kind comments on "Looking to the Sun". I'm realy pleased you like it.
A Photograph is more than a still image of the real, it is a doorway into the unreal, it allows you to see through the eyes of the photographer, and see how they see the life around them.

Hello David, you are correct “Sandy Turbulence” was a longish exposure. I sat on a rock and tried a variety of exposures to find out what works. Thanks for your comments about it they are appreciated.
Thanks for the comments on African Monarch. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't live in Africa, but I took a trip to South Africa this past summer through my university.

Thanks so much for your response to "My sweet JoJo" When he was younger , he was certainly a handful but he has mellowed with age. He really is a big baby and I guess I do spoil him because of his health conditions. Thanks again for your comment. :)

The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling; “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

Thank ye kindly Captain for your comments about “Tuckers House”. It does look like infra red although no infra red techniques were used with it. It was raining that soft misty kind of rain and came out with a real soft quality which I enhanced a little in PS. Cheers.
Glad you found one of my old scans at 'break of day'. I liked the way the soft fog blended the morning colors, Glad you saw that too. Thanks for looking

Just so everyone knows, I've had a Deviantart.com account for a while called glassocean and have put some of the same photographs I have on here there. So don't freak out and think that someone is taking my artwork and plagerising cause its just me. If anyone likes my artwork enought to buy it I might try and sell some of my stuff but even then it isn't always easy to make a profit so I'm really not certain.
No idea how to make short links. But anyways, thankyou. :) Sorry for the late 'reply' (if thats whats expected), but it just now occured to me that I did in fact have an account on here while I was sitting around, bored. Good to see some people enjoyed it. :) Sorry the sign was in the way! I'm starting a photography course, so hopefully thats only the smallest bit to come.
OH captain, my captain, so glad to see u around, and take your time to leave a great & wonderful comments on "solitary", so glad u like it, & wishing good luck at devianart, and sell ur artwork, Im sure it will be like that, now, I would have to visit u at there, and I will see, maybe I should try it too, dont u think??...it's not bad idea...interesting. best wishes...oh BTW, r u in windy City??? :)
I'm uploading my photography on deviantart.com as well so you'll start seeing some of my same stuff on that site aswell. If I think people like it enough, i might buy a subscription and sell my artwork on it.
Rain Drop Pussy Willow was taken on a small bush next to a local college lake. I used the telephoto macro mode on my KonicaMinolta DiMAGE A200 at f-11, iso50 and used a fill flash that caused the shadowed background to go black. I never realised that Pussy Willows transformed like this. Thanks David for taking the time to view and comment on this image.

Thanks for your comments and suggestion on "When The Sun Goes Down." I'm not looking into getting too advanced with Terragen for now as I am still learning. I will keep your feedback in mind.
