Hey thanks for the great comment about my "City Guard" image. I shot several shots of the old cannon, and spent some time trying to decide which was the best. I agree with you about shooting it off-center. I was trying to get a feeling of where the cannon was pointing, and what it was defending. Glad you liked it.
Well now ... where are our collective manners. Kidding, of course ... but ... allow me to welcome you to the site then?
Lol, I am a little confused as it would appear that you have been around longer than me. Nonetheless, welcome and you're welcome for the tips. Check out the DB's (discussion boards), if you haven't already. Chock full of goodness and more sage wisdom. ;)
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~
Hello Daniel. Thank you for your thoughtful comments about “Macquarie Sunset”. That was taken on a truly memorable evening when the colours kept changing like a very slow movie.
It’s me again Daniel. Thank you also for your comments about “Alectown Landscape”, which is one of my favourite photos. Thanks too for your comments about my gallery in general. I’m quite flattered :-)

Hi Dan,
Reference: Gold Bullion
I really enjoyed your comments on my image. For a 17 year old, you are an accomplished writer. You asked where the picture was taken? It was taken in southern Louisiana. I parked in an open rice filed where I had a clear view. It came out well, if I say so myself. Thks for responding.
