Hi Dorothy. Welcome to Caedes would seem to be in order. Thanks for your comments on "Black Throated Green Warbler". Glad you enjoyed the view. I noticed it came out a little darker than expected too. I did the editing on one computer and uploaded it on a second. On the second PC the image actually appeared much lighter so I did some last minute editing to darken it. It did look okay on that monitor but on this one it is darker. I sadly put the clippers away for the winter so the funky coloured leaves will have to endure until I dig them out in the spring.:) Have a great day, ~Wendell
Hi Quickshot, you any relation to Lucky... or ...In the Dark? Thanks for the comments on "Bird on a Limb". Glad you liked the photo. You must have exceptionally sharp vision if you see my reflection in the bird's eye. Have a fun day, ~Wendell

I'm glad you got a little blue sky for a change. It's certainly welcome at times.
This is a beautiful, artistic photo, Dorothy. I love how the patches of thick fog hide and reveal details along the shoreline. The variety of different trees are wonderful, especially the large one left of center, which has real character. I also like the sun's glow in the upper left-hand corner and the quality of the light. Great shot!
Mr Clean Thanks for the critique Dorothy. You guessed it, it is the same guy as the other one but as for who he is... well who can say. This shot was taken just before or after "No Pictures". Yep it is that old. If it gets as much as a 2 in the voting booth I'll be surprised :) If it makes a person or two smile as it has you it will have accomplished my purpose in posting it and will be considered a great success!

I actually meant to center the pelican rather than go for the rule of thirds for this photo. Nonetheless, thank you for your suggestions and for viewing/commenting on my picture. I very much appreciate them. :)
GeoTronic Thanks for the complements Dots. Much appreciated!
"Now if you could just take this shot and lay it three dimensionally on top of that bald head we've seen in a few of your shots," Don't Tempt me with thoughts like that! I just may do it! Only not the way you would expect of course :p

*CLICK HERE* to see where I was standing to take the Roaring Wolf 2 shot. The white arrow points to the exact spot, and down below is Wolf Creek, which flows under the bridge. I really don't know how to fly, but once in a while I can hover pretty good. LOL. Thanks for your comments, Dots.

Failure & Quit Bugging Me! Thanks for the complements Dots! But seriously, one inch tall? Nah, more like 7/8ths ;) I find your humor oddly amusing as well.

Golden Spires Thanks for the complements Dots! Your getting to know my work too well!
I added the following to the description... Creds to quickshot for knowing my work so well as to guess it in a general way, but J_E_F Got it exactly! To be specific, it is an AMD Athlon CPU circa 1998. The shot is composed of 40 photos focus stacked and covers an area of 5cm deep by 2cm wide.
No messin wit dat votin boot thingy eder. Glad you got to vote on some perfect 10's for a change. LOL!

Hi Dots, I thought you had fled the country. Thanks for your comments on "Pool". You realize Roger is incapable of telling the truth. Have a nice day. ~Wendell
Thanks Dorothy for your excellent critique of "Good Morning". It is great to finally find someone who really appreciates a quick snapshot that has no redeemable features. I look forward to your continuing support on my Salutation Series of photos. They will soon be available as e-cards and ringtones.
I hope you come through the hip replacement surgery with flying colours and continue with your hobby of skateboarding all the national monuments.
Have a nice-ish day and lay off the hard stuff, ~Eubeen Hadd
Thanks a whole darn lot Dottie for your words of encouragement in regards to "Waterfall". I'm so gosh darn glad you really, really liked the photo. I mean really. If I was capable of blushing I would be right now.
Have yourself a hale and hearty day but lay off the milk and cookies.
Thanks Dorothy for your continuing support and kindish comments on "Some of Those Things" and "Once Yellow". I'm so sorry they bring back memories of your miscreant lad Roger who never once gifted you with flowers.
Have a great time on vacation and keep up your hobby of creating kitty litter art. Steer clear of the saltines and soda.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
