Hello, my name is Naomi. I was wondering if I could use your images for my layouts at http://www.xanga.com/Simply_Lov3able_Layouts? I made a layout using your "Moon Pie" image; URL to layout: http://www.xanga.com/lov3able_layout_80. I gave you credit by linking to your gallery. One link is in the navigational bar, and another in the code itself.
Anyway, I just wanted to make sure it was OK to use your images for my layouts; they're SO beautiful!
Hi Rick. Sorry about the wrong info on the Saguaro. I was just going by what I had been told. And the only one I ever saw in bloom, only had one, so I thought the guy was right. Maybe he was a New Yorker. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for your comments on "Hairy Tentacles". Now that you point it out, you have a very good point about the white spot. I'll have to work on that with my novice photoshopping skills. Thanks again!
Hi Rick .. I glad you enjoyed Poppies to be. They are certainly green aren't they. I had toyed with the idea of of making the background different (B&W maybe) but could not poperly maintain the fuzz detail on the buds .. so posted as is.
Hi Rick. Thanks for the comment. I did take it out the side window along with several others out the front. I couldn't image doing it over bridges though! I probably won't die of natural causes in my life... it'll be from taking pictures while I'm driving. :)
It is always a pleasure to see you great work and I thank you for giving me the opportunity to view and comment on them, So I hope to see lots more in the future
Jason
I hope you are enjoying the Series so far. I always look forward to your comments as it help me to improve my work and lets me know what work of mine people prefer, So thanks for your comments on "Gem Stones Part 2" I really appreciate your views.
Jason
I thought I did recognize your hummingbird pictures and I did check your gallery. I understand the f-stop, but I don't know if I can get that kind of clarity with my 4MP Kodak. I'll give it a try and thanks for that info.
Thanksf or coming by to view my gallery. I appreciate the kind words. I have a timeshare in Sedona Rick and go out every other year pretty regularly. I love the area and as you know, it lends itself so well to photo bugs. Have a good day. Anita
Thanks for all your support and all the kind comments that you have left on my latest images. Im glad that you liked and I hope that you enjoy the ones to come.
Hi Rick. Yes, I live in Cape Town South Africa. The wildlife is great and it is a very friendly country to visit. People make this huge fuss about crime in South Africa, but I lived here now for 25 years and had no run in with crime. There are a few places to avoid, but that’s true for every country. Come and visit, you will enjoy it. One of the few places left in the world that’s not bothered by terrorists.
Kia Ora Rick, thank you for your generous comment on Bridge Over The Avon - I do appreciate your interest :) Your brother-in-law lives in a beautiful city. I wish I had been able to see more of it.
Rick, I'm very appreciative of the comments you made at nine of my photos. It was really nice of you. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing them and that you took the time to tell me. Thanks! Also - I'm astounded to know you had no 100 degree temps there; I really should move!! - Patty
Rick,
Thks so much for looking at Sunday's Ending (sunset). We don't usually have'em that vivid around here but we sure did that night. Glad you enjoyed it.
Pat
Thanx for the comment on Bottlebrush. I'm glad you like is. Really appreciate your comments on my work. Yes, it is indeed the beginning of spring here now.. LOVELY.
Kind regards.
Marietha
Rick, your note at My Zoo made me smile; thanks! This is actually the photo I print out and frame and I give a copy to my vet every year as well. When the empty slots are filled, I remake it with more slots - LOL! And, my vet gives me a "herd" discount because they're rescues. Maybe more folks would adopt if more vets could help. Thanks again!
Once again, Rick - I'm grateful for your note at Empty. I've seen too much to be surprised anymore by how 'disposable' animals are to some people. I'm counting on a "Universal Justice System". Maybe they'll come back as pigs in their next life!! :)
Indian Maiden was taken at Tlaquepaque Rick. Since you're in the SW are you near Sedona? I do love it so out there and have a timeshare right behind it at Los Abrigados and try to go every year for a week. Once in a while I let other members of my family use it ;) but not often. Thanks for your support on my posts and always being an inspiration for me to do better. I appreciate everyone so very much for always being so kind. Thanks Rick.
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Hi Rick ... thanks for leaving such nice notes at my roses --- did you find some in bloom in your area now? As hot as it's been here lately, our temps finally took a nose dive and we're into Fall. Thanks again! - Patty
My apologies Rick for being so tardy ... been on vacation for a few days. Thank you so much for your comment on "Regal Pose (Resized)" Coming from the man whose Hummingbird C-Index is the highest rated at Caedes ... I'm honored you think my Bluejay worthy. Thanks for taking the time to boost my spirits Rick.
Judy and I thank you for your note; it's the first photo of her I even considered posting because her environment is so hard to photograph in. You words are very kind and I appreciate them! - Patty
Hi Rick, I meant it would be great to paint the velvet rose in 'real' oil colors on canvas. I guess software would give an indication of how the finished result would look. It is an artist's delight.
LOL - Rick - Thanks for your notes at the Rose and the Buckle - :)) I have a spiritual experience every time I go through that door!! LOL I appreciate your birthday wishes and your fun comments! - Patty
You're absolutely right, Rick - that sunset in Just in Time was gone before a minute went by. I literally pulled over in the first possible place, raced out of my car and started shooting. It wasn't but seconds and that scene was gone! Thanks for your kind words!
Hi again, Rick ... I appreciate your support and encouraging words. About A View - yes, that sky is pretty typical around here, especially in the Spring when the tornado season begins. I'm often on my front porch! And now, I'll follow your Dad's sage advice and do some reading while there!! LOL - thanks again!!
Hi Rick ... thanks for the comment at "Look What I Caught". It's a tad bruising on the ego when your 12yr old granddaughter has caught a larger fish than her grandfather has in his entire life. :o) Too bad about the flycatcher. I've only seen pictures of them in guide books living where I am on the East Coast. I'm guessing you must have seen a male with it's brilliant color catching your eye. The females are rather drab. Have a great New Years my friend.
Hey Rick! How've you been? I knew I could count on you to tell me where I was! I zigzagged so many diffrent places out there it's hard to remember. I know it was at the Dragoon exit cause I took a pic of the sign for refrence but I should've taken more sign pics I guess. Have you ever heard of the Amerind Foundation museum? I t was behind that.
I'm glad you liked Magical Tree and thank-you very much for your comments!

Hey Rick, That was such a lovely thing to say about Peter-Peter, that it was a pleasant surprise. I am saving my pennies to get a telephoto lens for my Canon Rebel XT. I couldn't get as close as I wanted to the birds with the kit lens of 18-55mm. I have a lot of good role models here on Caedes when it comes to bird photos and since I have a feeder close by, I thought I'd try shooting them on a day when every kind of precipitation decided to fall from the sky! lol I felt sorry for these guys. I don't think there was any other place to get a meal close by.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hey Rick,
You know I am always checking out your fotos. How is life ? I just took a cruise to alaska and have put up some news pictures. would love to hear your thoughts..
Take care
Deepak
Thanks for looking and commenting on, "Waimea Falls". It was my experience while living in Hawaii. All the waterfall were beautiful, but started looking the same after awhile. I lived in Hawaii for four years. So, I was granted the opportunity to see many.
Thanks again for looking and commenting on, "Sacred Falls". This picture was taken in December 1992, before I moved back to Texas. I found out about the tragedy last year while planning a return trip. I was shocked to find out it was closed and people had been killed. A true lose.
Rick,
Appreciate you comment on the cold day.
I would suggest everyone to take the Alaska tour because who knows how long these glaciers will last.
Deepak
Also, thanks for taking my comment on the Lanikaiting in a positive way. The second one is my fave.
Hi, Rick - thanks for the nice comment on "Ruby Flier" - much appreciated. I visited your gallery and man, oh man, do you have some beautiful hummingbird captures in there. Your going to have to share your secret with me sometime -
Hi Rick, thanks God that I live a little bit far from the area of Earthquake, but it's still so sad, that lately my country get a natural disaster one after the other...
You most certainly may Rick, to you I give the prettiest flower in my garden. Thank-you, I'm glad you liked 'Blue Passion" Didn't I give you a sunset in Tuscon once? It's good to hear from you again! I was gone from here for quite a while, it's nice to be back :)

Rick, thank you for the comment on my several pictures. I appreciate it so much. And thank you for to be nice. I also enjoy to see your pictures, even I don't leave many comments, but you did all with good... Cheers from Indonesia
Hey Rick! Wow you went through all my recent shots! Thank-you for all the clever and thoughtful comments :)
Yeah, not too many waterfalls in your part of the country but you certainly have a lot of splendid and unique beauty to make up for it.
And "Redneck Lizards" well, I suppose I ran into a couple of the 2 legged kind last time I was in your area. They run rampped around here, both kinds! I want to see one of those horned toads I used to play with in Tuscon when I was a kid. We don't have any of those!
That was a pretty flower I found in Oregon. You're right it does have a kind of translucent quality to it.
I wonder if I made my son's face a little too translucent in the moon. Nah, I think I prefer it that way. I didn't think about Harvest Moon coming up. Sure wish I could see it from a mountaintop in Arizona!
Thanks again Rick,
'Lisa
And thanks once more for viewing and commenting on "soapbar". I think she's getting jealous of the camera. I heard her snarl while I was taking the shot -
~ Hi Rick, Thanks for stopping by and your nice comment on my 'Orchids & Salvia' post. I'd often thought about the same idea when fooling around with the painting effect before, lol.
Yeah, don't get stung massaging those jellyfish! lol You know what you're supposed to do for a jellyfish sting don't you? (somewhat repulsed grin) Thank-you Rick I appreciate the compliment.

Hi Rick
Forgive me if I smile when I see Your name but it reminds me of Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca !!
Anyway just wanted 2 say thanx 4 commenting on the Severn Crossing. I used a practically new Sigma 300mm zoom to capture those shots, and it's 1 piece of kit I shaln't bin when I buy a digital. ;o)
Bye 4 now

Morning Rick
Thanx 4 commenting on "R u 4 lunch ?" a poor pic due to the aweful lighting, but a great subject in such a captivating pose !! Oh by the way the end of my camera lense was about 2.5ft away from Tequella :o)
Enjoy Sunday

Hi Rick ... thanks for viewing and commenting on "Sparkling Attire". I'd have to agree with you the temp on the pic was on the "cool" side. I thought the same myself when I first brought it up on screen. Tinkered with warming it a bit in Paint Shop, but found I was losing the misty rainy day mood I'd remembered when I snapped the shot, so I left it alone. Personal quirk I suppose. Thanks again my friend, really appreciate a comment from a guy who has a gallery full of quality posts.
Good evening Rick
Thanx 4 leaving such a nice comment, and link on "A wild British Kestrel for gerryp" It's good to go out with a bang, and this could be my highest C-index yet !! :d
