Hi Rita - That orchid was a complete plant in a four inch pot that someone had let die and had thrown out. I is still doing well and we hope to get it to bloom again in future. There is a web site for the world garden community called gardenweb.com that could provide the name of this orchid when and if I ever get around to posting the photo. I could also find an orchid book in a library that might answer that question. I will let you know if I can get some info. Take care
I can't say enough how much I appreciate you gliding by to check out Lemon-Lime . It was super windy here yesterday and this was a tough shot to get, I think I did about 7 or 8 of this one and this was the only one to come out half-way decent. Thanks again!!
Oh, and since no one's said it yet...WELCOME to Caedes!!
Hi Rita - Glad you enjoyed the Hermosa Sunset. Hermosa Beach (Hermosa is a Spanish word meaning "beautiful") faces west so we have wonderful sunsets all year round. I look forward to getting back home to enjoy the show. Take care and thanks for the comment.
***ATTENTION***Please help me! I'm about to buy my DSLR in a few weeks for my 21st birthday. Check out the discussion about it here.
Also, I'm trying to bring Caedes to myspace, so check out the thread here.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Thanks for the comment on "The Sentry". Meerkats come from South Africa and the British people love them because they are very cute, they live in family groups of up to 25 and are lead by the dominant female. There have been some very popular tv documentaries on the BBC so they are well known here.
Hello Rita. Thanks for viewing my High Falls Sunrise image. I appreciate your nice comment. You have a very good gallery of images that I'll try to visit when I get more time.

Thanks Rita for taking the time to comment on my picture “Glass”. The name of this butterfly is Glasswing. I used a Canon D60 with a Sigma 105mm macro equipped with a Canon ring flash.

Hey Rita, thanks so much for looking at 'aerial sunset'. I didn't think too much of it when I took it but I'm glad I looked at it again - especially given the comments from a sunset specialist like yourself!
Wonderful place Rita just a half a mile easy leafy walk from the highway i have just got back from spending Sunday morning there followed by a roast Lamb Sunday lunch at the high force hotel in front of a roaring log fire ... Bliss..Richie
Rita, thanks for your comments on "When we met, I promised her the Sun, the Moon and the Stars". If it made you smile, then I have done a good day's work.
