i only paint with knives. no other way! ha asides from nuke who paints with brushes.. his stuff is great.. i usually try to stick with one knife during an entire painting

sometimes painting on a none textured medium is different good, but definitely not oils on regular paper (we all know how that turns out). im happy you liked it, assume looking at it twice was a good thing

hi vic, the photo was taken in gastown, vancouver it was through the window of an art store featuring inuit art, some really beautiful work there by the way, wasn't allowed to photograph inside so this is a window shot. i dont know who the artist is but i assume he or she is a local inuit , there are a lot of them here.

You can experience sheer-walled, red rock canyons along the twists and turns of Rim Rock Drive, where you may spy bighorn sheep and soaring eagles. Most tourists go to the well known Parks but this little out of the way jewel you can explore without any crowds. Diane

What I like to do is look online at log cabin designs just for fun. Some of them are so beautiful! I would like one about 1500 sq ft on one level with a mountain or lake view nestled among the evergreens but not too many since I would like the cabin to be bright and cheerful in the day time. I don't like dark and deary homes. You are welcome to drop by anytime Victor!

I sold the canoe shortly afterwards. It was heavy lifting onto the car roof all the time and figure I can just rent one for a couple of hours if I want to explore a waterway. Thanks for viewing the Rocky River Victor!

hey vic thanks for the fave on morning glory, it is and was never meant to be a realistic representation of a forest, only the way i like to use color, i am having a lot of enjoyment doing these black canvases, i guess they are sort of abstract in a small way, again thanks my friend!

The little bird in Mirror Mirror was shot at Hillsborough state park, Florida. I am now home in windy, drowsy Holland again, so meeting will be difficult, unless you come over....
But I agree, it would be great to meet some day. Maybe I need to announce my next trip to USA next time so you, I and maybe other could meet in person.
