Thank you Nick, for your lovely words for Dunajec castle II. I am very pleased you enjoyed the boat trip to visit this impressive castle with the sky above brewing up for a storm. The boat cruises between the ruins in Czorsztyn and the castle in Niedzica offering unforgettable views while crossing the artificial reservoir. Both places are open to the public and are very popular among tourists visiting Pieninski National Park. Would like to come back there one day…

Great to know you do not suffer from vertigo and gathered up courage to admire the spectacular views of the impressive Garganta del Chorro, one of the most significant nature spots in Spain because of its spectacular shape. El Chorro has some very steep cliffs. They are 180 meters high. A walking path - the Camino del Rey - along the cliff was made in 1921, to give an impression of the astounding size of these cliffs. Today it is closed to the public and the only way to admire the ravine is either from the top of the surrounding mountains or from a train going north from Málaga.

Hiya Nick, I am so glad you liked my bubbles lol. Its such an amazing spot, the water is that colour all year round. Its hidden away as well, so not many people know about it,, we found it by slipping through a small archway at a slate museum, and there was this amazing pool with some stunning cliffs. I have also posted it under Tranquility again, but photos do not do this place justice at all.

So nice you dropped by to get some rest under snow cover, Nick. I hope this winter related poem by James A. Kisner will please you as much as my image did…

“…The soft flakes feel like drops of ice when drifting on my face,
And everything feels fresh and clean as I walk through this place.
The trees are covered with a coat of freshly fallen snow,
Then some have icy branches that give off a crystal glow.

The only sound that I can hear is little wisps of wind,
But only for a moment then the air is still again.
My heart is overflowing with a feeling from within,
A gentle, soothing, calming feeling comes to me again…”

Take care

Hi Nick, glad you liked the Loch Lomond photograph. I was so pleased I was able to visit it in the short time I was in Scotland - such a beautiful place!! Patti

Hi Nick, thanks for the comments on the sunset over Edinburgh - I was very lucky with the weather and it was a bonus to have a sunset to photograph too! :)
