Hey Tony :D
Thankyou so much for your kind comments on *Who Will Cry For Them?*...I'm very pleased you liked it!
As for being good...I'm not exactly sure how I reachedthe stage I'm at, just many experimentations and lots of practise ;]
Have a wonderful day and welcome to Caedes, also!
Hello Tony..Thanks for leaving your kind comments to LOCK-UP...this little 'gem' is situated beside a reservoir called 'Waskerly Reservoir'..a lot of fishermen come here...a little picnic area is nearby too.....If you know of the 'Coast-to-Coast' cycle way..that passes by here..I live in a place called Consett Co Durham...so take the road from Consett towards Stanhope in Weardale....Hope this is of help! many more little 'Gems' like this goody to come!..........Cheers....Bob
** To all my dear friends, I will be missing from Caedes, from the 24th June...touring and vacationing!.....Will miss you all...but will have great 'goodies' for you when I return!!!**
Hi Tony, no need to use your broomstick! LOL! Alderley Edge is located in Cheshire - a well known landmark. It rises 650 feet with views across Manchester and Cheshire. If you look at some of my other photographs in my gallery, you will be able to see some of the views. Many thanks for taking the time to comment. Patti
Yes, I too have an interest in doorways. I would've thought I was the only one, lol. I have many pictures of them but only posted a couple because I thought others would just get plain tired of staring at doors. But I never do.
You never said a truer word there Pal?
But why am I always owd and decrepid, tired, knackered and lives with 'Wor-Las' eh?
when I should be young, sprightly, womanizer..and in general good health eh!
Answer me that hey?.....Lol..................Bob
hey Tony what cheer to you...(and the misses of course?) you most certainly have to get yer backside up north?...went to Cornwall in June..and it was a terrible holiday for us!...Very hilly,(St Ives) Newquay was the dirtiest holiday resort I have seen in a long, long time!......I had to wear a steel plated protection on my 'bum'!.....Penzance wasn't too bad....but the weather was atrocious!......the only place I would ever go back to was 'Falmouth'.....I dont thing me & Wor-Lass would ever venture down to Cornwall again?
So, my friend...you get yer hands in yer pocket, and shell out the readies for a trip up here.....NO-WAY will you be disapointed? OK I'm off my soapbox now?
Can I finish and say grateful thanks for your comments on View from the Top....heh! heh!.........Just think! all that lovin you will get from yer misses if you brought her to this place......................Bob
Hark at this owd bugger above me?.....Cheeky get!....A hammock sounds great...only trouble...if Brian gets in first, even an elephant could'nt shift that sod!
Dont worry Tony mate.....I have the ideal solution...heh! ..not gonna tell yer here?
you will have to wait an see .........catch you later Pal!
Good day to ya Tony, thanks for poping in on my gallery, and commenting on Silken Threads. I was fishing that morning when the sun started to work it's magic, love that time of morning. Best wishes to you and yours, Dwight.

Hello Tony...Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (SOLITARY HOUSE) and for your comments..they are very much appreciated......Thanks again...All the best.....Mick
Thanks you for the kind words on The Watcher. He would have loved to have been in "Snow Dogs" - he'd do anything to get back to the snow. He's pretty hot here in Texas this time of year and really needs to be back in the cold country. There's a better picture of him here at Caedes called "Wolf Creek Pass" I'm sure he'd rather be there than sitting at the top of the stairs.
STORMY cheers for those kind words Tony?......PS no bench here!...but me bloody feet and strides got a soakin'............Glad you enjoyed it........Bob
Seeds of contentment bring harvests of peace. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
I appreciate your concern, and thanks. I would like to see more of your home town in England, looks like a beautiful place to reside. Keep up with the nice work.
Thank you Tony....
Seat 7 is a special place to be....it is just so relaxing there...washes the mind from all your troubles...nothing intrudes, because of the peaceful harmony of the area!....Bob
PS...you don't honestly think I would share my Snooozy spots? do you?....With everyone 'rabbiting' and talking...how the hell could this owd sod 'sleep'!....But, a dare is a dare? I will do my utmost?.......
Titus 3:5-7, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6: Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7: That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
Why did Jesus Christ have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven? It is THROUGH Jesus Christ's blood that He saved us from Hell. If we could get to heaven on our own then Jesus Christ would've had to die again and again.
If you ANY questions please pm me.

Hi Tony, DOP means depth of field that is your focal point would be say a flower but in stead of the complete picture being in focus, the backgroound would be blured or out of focus. This makes the object your taking the picture of really stand out. You very often see this effect in portraits or in a lot of bird or small animal shots. I hope this helps you, Don
So glad I found enough benches for us....hopefully .. you know there are a lot of us...imagine if we all climed into the fountain :) So glad you came by and enjoyed "The Glen" Tony. Always nice to see you. Anita

Hi Tony, thank you so much for your lovely words for " Fairy Homes" I would have loved to have picked them for dinner as well, but thought better of it :) Appreciate you stopping by.

Hello Tony......your kind words to my 'Market-Stick' overwhelms me with pride!.....When I did make these, I always had pride in my work, and crafted these with a determination to make it, to the best of my ability!........I was with regret, that I had to give all this up, because of the problems with my hands!.....I still have a few in my collection, to remind me of those good-days!....however, I am now more than happy to continue with my first love! ....Photography!...........In all the time and the dozens of sticks I made....I 'NEVER' ever sold one!..........Thanks.....Bob

Thank you Tony mate!..for those kind words to Trout Stick........
It was always a hobby for me!...I could never justify the price I would have to charge for making one....if you work out 2 to 3 hundred hours for making one stick! even at a quid an hour...£300 How many would buy at those prices!...
I did do tutoring for this at a local school...It is still going strong with over 40 members over two nights!..I have passed it all on to a younger chap....and only frequent the club for a chat among old friends!........This is a part of my past that has 'passed' !....I am very proud to have had the opportunity to have made this my hobby!...because it was a part of my recuperation period from a very bad road accident!...and it helped 'keep me sane' as I thought I would never, ever walk again?.......That was one of the main reasons! I vowed I would never sell one!........
If you care to know more on this 'craft' Google 'walking-sticks' and look at what comes up!......alternatively....go to www.thebsg.org.uk this is a huge 'stick' guild which is the biggest in the UK.....you may see some of my work there?
Tony me mate, sincere thanks for those kind words to 'Fancy Crook Stick'.....I can now put these back into storage!.........Did you click on the 'link' in Terri's post to this!....
just above your comment!....I had sent her a set of 'Miniatures' and they are only 6 inches tall....there was more swearing and anger in making those! than in making the 'Full size ones!........Those tiny 'handles' are about 1/2 an inch!...I had to make a 'special' clamp to hold them..while carving!
I am very grateful for all the kind replies that I have had for these!.......A Big Thank You....Bob
Glad you came by to see mamma duck and her 'lings' Tony. They were actually outside the Houston Zoo at Hermann Park by the pond. I loved following her around and then watching them go into the reeds. I guess if you can catch one, they could be for sale ;) hee hee. Thanks always for your input and very kind words. I appreciate them so very much on all my posts.

“In autumn when the trees are brown
The little leaves come tumbling down
They do not make the slightest sound
But lie so quietly on the ground
Until the wind comes puffing by
And blows them off towards the sky…”
