About 'Amsterdam by night ': as lutherian people, Dutchmen don't like to put curtains on their windows. Curtains mean that you've something to hide. I was really surprised when I walked in Amsterdam...
Thanks Kurt :-)

Lots of thank you's for the most gracious comment on 'It Was Lonely There', I really appreciate it! That part of town in which the picture was taken used to be a really thriving area of business...mills mostly, but some offices. Now, with all the new renovations and restructurings and the new business' that have moved in, this area has all but been totally deserted. It's a shame, there is really a lot of interesting history and architecture there.
Anyhoo...thanks again!

When you mention all animals [as an object of admiration] I must oppose: spiders !!!!
I am not afraid of anything: lions, tigers etc are OK but spiders kill me !
Arachnophobia it is called ... LOL

Hi Kurt...many thanks for your visit to The Canuck Boys...glad you liked it and please excuse my lateness in replying...unexpected work, the BBQ, and a little interruption in internet service recently has put me way behind in all my comments and replies..that BBQ was fun wasn't it.:Pat.
