Sharon, thanks for the comment on "White on Yellow". That's one of the great things about photography but also one of the downsides. Capturing the beauty but not having the original. thanks andrew
Thanks for your comment on "whassup".... You ask what I used to get him to pose....As any good knight when confronted with such a dragon.... Bravery, courage, charm and just plain luck. Cheers. Al.

Thank you, Sharon. I'm so pleased you were emotionally drawn into 'Old South (Atlanta)'. I found only a few Civil War images I felt merited posting here; ironically, most from the Library of Congress seem to be too gruesome (battlefield) or too stillted (formal portraits).
Thanks, Sharon, for your kind and encouraging words on Prima Donna. One of the loveliest comments it's ever been my good fortune to receive and I appreciate it very much. :)

Hello Sharon. I'm very glad you liked "Water Sprites" and "Bedding Down". I like water shots myself, gee maybe that's why I shoot so many! Come visit anytime, I appreciate your comments.
Thanks for the comment. Actually, I haven't seen the spider in a while. Maybe he migrated somewhere else (hopefully not inside!). Recently I have been seeing a stickbug about two feet from where that spider used to hang, and I hope to photograph it soon. Thanks again! :-)
Thanks so much for your kind words, Sharon. I'm so pleased you've enjoyed my fractal play. I have admired and downloaded many of yours - so that makes your compliments even more special. Have a great day.
There are many paths to the top of the mountain, but the view is always the same.
Chinese Proverb........I think you'll really like Chinese Lion. roar.

Thank you so much for your great comment on "A Thorn Is Born". That was my very first attempt at doing any sort of image, so I hold that image of mine very close. And yes, even red juice in a glass can be something pretty!
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
