Thanks for your lovely comments on 'Swans'. It wasn't quite so nice on the day as the adults are very protective of their babies and they weren't very impressed with my dog. An angry swan is a scary sight...

First thank you for the nice complements you gave on my picture "Where the Spirit Carries On". Secondly answering your question it is dark, and then light in the middle because I edited the contrast which brought out the light and darkened everything else, I agree it is a cool feel to the image.
hi Katie , thanks for the comment on "sunset pier" ! if you like Annecy lake, have a look at my other pics, i have posted some others of that same lake.
hi katie, thanks for your nice comments on my « red roses symbol of love » image , i am glad you enjoyed it.hope you will find someone till the next valentins day and keep your spirit high. thanks for taking the time to view my work and hope to hear from you again.:-)
Thanks for the nice comment on "Foundation" It's always fascinated me. And I'm not usually like that about piles of rubble. It's just neat to think about all the lives that were lived there. Now, there is nothing left to even signify that there were humans there except for the foundation, which is why I took a picture of it. I knew I was going somewhere with that rambling. Thanks again.

Cheers for the message and stuff check out ma site www.freewebs.com/playwithsuicide more pics there u may like in the creations section (play with suicide)
thanks for your comment on "death 2 daises". I agree it is very nice. The only bad part is that when a lot of flowers start to die in vases like that, they start to smell really bad. So, shortly after taking it, I had to throw them out and light candles all over the place. I guess that's the price to pay for a good picture! :)
Hi Katie, Thanks for the comments on "Freeze Frame" seems you and I are the only ones with a sence of humour here. It took a lot of tries to get this shot, tough job.

Hi Katie, You asked me what provocative means. It has a number of meanings - the one I meant was thought provoking. You are a lovely young lady, so that in itself would make one stop to look. Add to that the eerie red coloration and the deep blue eyes, and you just have to stop and wonder - who is this person? why is she portrayed this way? what's the story behind the picture? Anyway, an artistic work should make one stop and think - so you accomplished what every artist tries to do with his/her work. Hope you have a great day, friend. And keep the great works coming. Nathan
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Hi Katie, and thanks for your comment on"Digging...? Us...?" You're right, they're border collie pups, and they were really cute when they were tiny. I'm glad you liked them :-)
Hi katie..thanks for commenting on "Grizzly"...Yes seeing animals in zoos, even really good zoos makes me sad also. hopefully this little grizzly will have a happy life.

Thank you for your wonderful comments at Firefighter's Prayer. I believe there are MANY good people in the world. Unfortunately, the media tends to focus on the bad a lot of the time. I quess that is what sells.

I don't have any software to edit my photos, and I don't think I would alter them if I had the software. It's just not me, but I don't complain when others alter their photos. Thanks again.
Hello Katie, thanks for you comments of "untitled" it was nice, to see your opinion of it. The point of it, is to know exactly what people see on it, and get ideas about it. I know my proposal of that, but I would like to know what others see... thanks a lot :)

Thanks for checking out the rest of my work. It's nice to know that it's appreciated. I love taking pictures and maybe some day I'll actually get good at it.
No problem at all honey. I hate to see peoples works put down just cuz others can't understand.. Personally.... i can relate to the image.. however sad my memories are, it does not make them shameful or wrong, and so... in my eyes.. neither is it shameful or wrong to put negative or powerful emotion (such as pain) into a picture.. into a work of ART.
As for the Morbitiy of it... i've seen so much worse.. and i don't care WHO choses to put me down for it... i ENJOY the dark images... i enjoy the darker side of most things... so.... the darker the better.
Again... don't let anyone stop you from what you truly want to do. And if someone has a problem with what you're doing... come find me... i'll be here to back you up.

hi, thanks for checking out 'seven legged freak'. actually, this spider that was no more than one half to three quarters of an inch in length (body only). the web was right in the face of some hedges, and believe it or not, i was looking for leaf shots... (imagine) the location is Queens, New York City, in the town called Bayside, which is primarly consisted of single family homes and tree-lined streets. glad you liked it, thanks

Hello Katie! Thanks for the nice comments on my Fall State Fair 3. This image was manipulated a little bit. The Zipper didn't have lights on one end so I had to merge parts of several photos to fill in the circle. That family walked into the photo and stood there long enough to become part of this image. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
