Thanks for your kind comment on "Picnic Spot", sizzle. Nothing was altered - the reflections threw me for a while too! I think there are people a little way back behind the tree, but the way the ground slopes up beyond the pond makes the reflections appear as though they're right at the edge... Thanks for your interest :-)
Hi Sarah..thanks so much for taking the time to stop by & leave such warm words on ~beautiful butterfly~. This is one of the prretiest I have ever seen also.Glad you enjoyed it! :~)

Sarah,
Thank you for your input on my Spanish Peaks image. I would love to upload this image again for you but because of the size it would not fit the screen unless a border was added. If you have any ideas just PM me.

Thank you for your comment on the ghost town..These colours are orignal, they keep them up and they roofs are that colour all way from 1856 when they were built. its a lovely place.
Thank you, Sarah, for such a nice compliment on the photo of Gnat Creek in Oregon. I've always loved places like that, and it seems my camera does too! Seriously, being there is so serene, downloading the camera and finding that the photo turned out is a great feeling, but having such nice compliments, well, it doesn't get any better! Thank you, Steve
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Thank you for visiting my Morning Fog, Conejoes Canyon image. I also think that it is fantastic. Even more so is the fact that my summer cabin is only 32 Kilometes down the road and I get to see this every morning.

Thank you, Sarah, for the nice compliment on "Pondside Early." I wasn't sure many people would like the image, so I'm glad you did and took the time to let me know. I appreciate your kind words. Steve
Good morning Sarah
Welcome to Sunday
Many thanks for your appreciation of "Beerwah and Crookneck from Wild Horse Mountain". Am pleased that you liked it.
Had never been to the top of Wild Horse Mountain before, despite living in the area for almost 20 years. It gave a great perpective of the Glasshouse Mountains. If you are interested, there is some information, including a synopsis of the Aboriginal legends (so have now found out myself that the Aboriginal name for Crookneck is Coonowrin) at http://www.walkabout.com.au/locations/QLDGlassHouseMountains.shtml Enjoy your day

Hi Sarah-
I'm glad that you like TV in flight. It was shot from the top of a steep, exposed cliff. The vultures there catch thermals rising up the side of the mountain. All I had to do was wait for one to soar by, and click! Thanks for your kind words. Mike
Good morning Sarah
My thanks for the high praise on "Kangaroo Grass". Had tried to capture one of these a few weeks ago - <hanging head> you don't want to see the result. Was very pleased when everything came together for this shot.
Enjoy your day

Hi Sarah..thanks for taking the time to stop by and leave such warm, encouraging words on ~hope~. I am still learning a new camera, so I was happy when I got a capture that was "postable". lol :))

Welcome to Friday
Many thanks for your appreciation of "Dam at Delaney's Creek". It is a beautiful spot. Before I leave Brisbane forever, will be going to spend the day in that area, just to take photographs. And to sit, peaceful and content, upon my friend's verandah, overlooking the fields, engaged in quiet conversation (and with one of their dogs laying by my feet - always inevitable). So there may be more of this area yet to come.
Enjoy your day

Many thanks for your comments and appreciation on "Freshwater National Park 1".
There have been a number of comments regarding the Grass Trees (otherwise known as Blackboys) growing at the ground level, so will be returning soon to take photos of just these.
Enjoy your day

. Sarah ( I really love that name)
I am thrilled that you have enjoyed my, Morning Fog in Conejoe Canyon #2. I can only live in the canyon from June until the first of November. The snow gets very deep there. In some years it van get 20 feet drrp (7 meters). This year it has gotten 12 feet of snow (4 meters). The forest service tries to open the roads by the 31st of May, If they do I will be here on next day.

Sarah- thanks for the comment on "Bucolic Landscape" I'm actually thinking about lightening it up a bit and re-posting it. If I do, I'll send you the link to the new picture. :)
Hi Sarah, nice to hear from you. I was delighted to hear your complimentary words! Please stop by and see me again and have a nice Easter Sarah! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thank you on behalf of Alexis and me for the nice compliment on "Early Morning Mist." Alexis made such a wonderful difference with her talented editing, and was a pleasure to work with. We both appreciate your support. Thank you. Steve
Good morning Sarah
My thanks for your appreciation of "Clare-Lind Homestead - in the garden bed". The owners were telling me after I returned with hardcopy prints for them that they had originally wanted an old trailer, but the old scuffler was 10 per cent of the cost and was within their budget, so the scuffler it was.

Thanks for your lovely comment on "Barle valley", Sarah - all seasons have something going for them, but the start of Spring really is something special :-)
I know hat I have said it before but I must ay it again. I love the name Sarah.
I am so far behind in my correspondence. Please forgive the late posting to your comment.
Your comments mean a great deal to me. I am so very pleased that you took the time to visit my Line Shack and Aspens images. The sky is real and at that altitude it can become almost black at times. Thank you for your comment.

Good morning Sarah
I enjoyed your comments and appreciation for "Helleconea". Always won, eh? Around Brisbane, these flower regularly, and are slowly becoming more popular both in home gardens and in council plantings. Not very much about them on the Internet, and got driven out of the Botanical Gardens yesterday by a severe storm before could gather more information.

's me again :)
Thanks for your comments on "Morning on Pine River", and your enjoyment. Yes, was at the site before sunrise, and almost before dawn :) Has been a popular fishing spot for I don't know how many years. One of those shots where was very glad that the camera doesn't see things the same way our eyes do. The sky could have been interesting except it was utterly cloudless, which Is why I kept it down to such a small strip.
Enjoy your day

Hi Sarah;
I am very pleased that you have enjoyed my Aspens at Full Peak- Conejos Canyon image. I have been photographing Aspens for over 25 years and this was the most concentrated brilliant color that I have seen to date. Hopefully I will get another chance to capture them again before I am to old to roam the mountains.

Welcome to Monday. Many thanks for visiting and appreciating "View through a web". The anchoring to the trees around it I found the most fascinating, but the effect of looking through it came a close second. I actually went looking for the spider to see what kind it was, but was unable to find it.

Cherry Blossoms Walkway is a tree lined walkway that is about 4 city blocks long and runs down the center of 3rd St. in Macon, Georgia. It is a focal point for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, however this year they bloomed late. Thanks Sarah for your nice comments on this image.

I appreciate your nice thoughts on "Wings". Yes, I did use a slow shutter, hence the blur, and I used a fill flash. It was a VERY windy and overcast day at the beach. The gulls were flying very low to the ground and struggling in the wind to keep their position, sort of "suspended" out there right in front of me.
Good morning Sarah
Thanks for your appreciation on "Unusual road signs: Motorbike heaven". As an ex-motorcycle rider, even driving the car up that hill gives me enjoyment <grinning>. When my brother first moved to Brisbane early this year, I took him for a drive up there (he rides a motor bike) and his eyes started to glow lol.

Thank you for the nice comment on Mom's Lake. The original was badly damaged. It took quite a bit to restore it, this much. I really appreciate your compliments..
Hi Sarah, and thanks for your lovely comments on "Bouquet of blossom" and "Woodland walk". Beech trees are unusual - although the leaves change colour in autumn, they don't fall until the new leaves are out in Spring. There's a beech hedge on one of my regular dog-walking routes, and the new leaves are just starting to appear now :-)
On this market, the saleswomen spend a lot of time to arrange the fruits in perfects rows... Incredible to see. Look here for a general view. Thanks for your kind words Sarah :-)
Hi Sarah, very kind of you to view and comment my Wood anemone pic. There are carpets of these flowers now in the woods. A lovely sign of spring.! Thanks, Sarah !
Hello Sarah, thanks very much for your comment on Dunes at Dawn 3. There is something very special about the quality of dawn light at higher altitudes (the dunes are at about 8,000 feet). I was lucky to see this scene and capture it quickly before the light changed...Mike

Hello Sarah. I’m glad you like “Sandy Turbulence”. I was trying to get something with a little mystery to it. Thanks for your comments, they are much appreciated.
Hey Sarah, thanks for your comments on my posting "sky from dark water". The telltale ripples were necessary for the picture to makes sense, don't you think? I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I took the time to review your work, I particularly like "Yellow Summers"
but I'm sure you get that a lot as it is a super nice photo.
Thanks for the nice comment and suggestion on ''Field of Tulips." I totally agree with you, and I do have a cropped version which is awesome. I couldn't post it because of the widescreen shape, but it is a much better picture. Thanks again!
Hello Sarah, hope you will forgive me, but this message is pretty well canned and much the same for everyone who responded to my image “As The Seasons Change". I’m stuck in a very tight schedule at work and have been putting in as many as 35 hrs overtime each week for going on a month now. Even though this is a generic thank you, it doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate each comment, it’s just that I have very limited time and not enough of it to respond individually. For all that asked particular questions, I will try to leave an answer at the end of this post. For those who left comments some time ago, please accept my apology for being so late in responding.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUING SUPPORT OF MY IMAGES .IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME.
