Hi Bri, thankyou very much for your comment on The Pantheon. I did put this image through an HDR filter but made the effect quite subtle as i didnt want to overwhelm the subject too much and it was starting to look a bit stylised. I did straighten this shot already in Photoshop but i will definately go back and tweak some more. Thankyou very much for the constructive advice, it is most appreciated :D Hope you are having a good week.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
.....got to ask what lens you are using I love the way it handles the colour......))

Hoi, Bri !
Thanks for commenting on 'Peacock butterfly' !
As usual I take this kind of macro shots with a Canon EOS 500 D
Camera, and a Canon 100 mm EF 2,8 USM macro lens !
But.....Not this time !. I shot this one with a very good Sony DSC 9 Pocket camera,(3 years old) which one I have always with me !
I even sleep with it.....LOL !
Image Edit in PSP !

My appreciation for visiting "Sweet Nectar", and for your positive and encouraging remarks. My first upload after many years of absence. It was taken at a zoo, of all places - I looked at flowers, my family looked at crocodiles :) (but more on that later).
Thanks for your comment on Rita and Jayden doing what they do best. Since this pic, we have lost our Rita, but Jayden (who is four) should be with us for quite awhile yet. I appreciate you taking the time to comment and I didn't even set this pic up...just caught them sleeping and got the camera.
Hey Bri!

Hi Bri!
Thanks so much for your kind comment on Snow Crossing. Actually the snow was not crunchy at all...very soft and silent at that point. It had just barely fallen and all was still and quiet around it. Once it froze it got crunchy though...but by then there were so many foot prints that it wasn't worth a picture anymore. And I have to admit....after I took the photo...I had to knock some of that snow off the rails...just for fun!
Thanks again!

Thanks so much for your comments on Just a Nice Sunset. It seems like when everything is mid winter dead it hard to get a good picture of anything nice! At least we still have the sunsets!

Thanks for your kind comment about Cruise Ship Pier Bri. On some days there are so many cruise ships docked that it's a madhouse on the Island but this day wasn't too crowded with blue water, skies and warm weather.

Thanks for your comments on "Chevy" and "Peek a boo" in my gallery Bri. I took a wander through yours also and Dylan is gorgeous! I especially love the one of her with the horse as my dog is the same way with large animals. I have a purebred B&W Cocker myself. Chevy was a photo of a friends Cocker. Thanks again,

Thanks Bri...Tamron 70-300mm centenary lens..The light was very poor so a high ISO was needed...I think more detail would have come out with better light..I'm saving like hell for a longer lens..R.
