Hello Luis. Thanks for your nice comment on 'Twins by night'. Note: This is a scanned photo. That's why the quality is not the best... Thanks again :-)

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Hi Luis, and thanks for the kind comment you posted on "Bluelily". It's a simple manipulation, but it seems to have suited the image well. I'm glad you liked it :-)
Hello Luis. Your comments about “Stained Falls” are appreciated. Perhaps it’s the wind blurred branch that make’s it look odd to you. Thanks for taking time to let me know your thought’s about it.
Wow! Thanks for the glowing comment on Paved With Good Intentions. I enjoyed shooting it, and what's funny is that I've spotted several things I'd like to improve in the image, but each time I try to re-create it something happens to make it impossible. Maybe that's going to be the final print.
Hello Luis! Thanks for taking the time to view and leave the nice comments on my image. I'm glad that you found my Shell Point Sunset photo enjoyable. When I saw the little thatched umbrella and the tree I knew that this would be a nice framing for the coming sunset.

Hi Luis Thanks for you comments on both "Moonshadow" and "Las Medulas". I think your right about the landscape image it could have done with a little more foreground and less sky but i acutally could get close enough to the edge of the cliff to take the shot i wanted and had to compromise with this. I took it when i was 14 on a school exchange to Spain and there was a small fence stopping us from going near the edge and i think my teachers might have freaked if i had. So yeah this is the best i could get! Never mind, thankyou so much for voting so high for it as well. It really makes me happy to know i dont suck at photography as much as i thought. Thanks again!
Hi Luis ! It´s a wonderful thing that age isn´t important on this site. But I have to tell you that comments from young people are more appreciated than others! Thanks for your comment on my Christmas Eve pic! It gives a good reflection of the mood at Christmas time in the little cottage where I´ve spent the last twenty-five X-mas holidays...
Luis, you are doing really good works alredy on this site and I´m sure you have the ability to improve very much... just keep on with your work!
Hy Luis,
What can I say I haven't had three imags critiqued by one person in the same day before. I like your style. Right to the point. Thanks for all of the input. You are welcome to comment anytime. You are like a fresh breath of spring. :o)

Muchas Gracias Luis for your comments on Gather Ye Rosebuds. Funny you should mention the c-index. For some reason unknown to me it dropped precipitously several weeks after the big adjustment. I think Caedes must be adjusting some c-indices manually or maybe someone really dislikes me. Anyway I'm glad you liked the shot. It's one of my favorites from my gallery.
Hi Luis,
I agree with you. I do not know why my Horses in the meadow has such a slow c-index either. It has always been one of my favorites so I am a bit disppointed with the result too.
I am happy to hear that some people like it. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Luis for the great comments you left on Fever, very much appreciated. Unfortunately you've seemed to have left a picture of a Man Utd player there aswell, which doesn't go down well with Liverpool fans :)
Hi Luis. You have my permission to remove the border. My screen isn't the same dimension that Caedes requires for their 1600x1200 submissions, hence the border (rather than stretch the picture, or cut out a part of it). On my computer, this picture does not have a border - it fits.
Thanks Luis for your great comments on "Field of Storm"! I am glad you enjoyed it!
I took a look at your gallery as you suggested and WOW! You have few but very nice pics! Congradulation.
Hey there! I really appreciate your feedback on 'All Eyes on You'. It is interesting that you think black would look better - as it was the first colour I tried. What happenend when I tried it was the eye lost most of it's impact (to me anyway!) having a black centre, it kind of blended in. Though I really want to rework this theme again - and I will be taking everyones feedback into account, so thanks again!!! Cheers...
Hi Luis... thanks for your comment on Golden Dayz..... im very glad you liked it.... I have never ever had a c-index of 100 before.... blew me away... but rest assured it will come down to a normal level in a day or so... lol... thanks for the high scores.... its one of my favs ..
Thank you Luis for taking the time to view and comment on my Floral Beauty 2 photo. I'm glad that you viewed this close-up image. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hello Luis! My Dandelion Sunset photo was an unplanned event. I went to photograph the sunset and decided to see what I'd get with a low telephoto macro shot. I'm glad that you like the results and I appreciate your support. This opens up some good image possibilities. Did you notice the spider webs that looks like little thin guy wires?

Thank you for the nice compliment on "Lakeside Early." I appreciate the comments, but I also like to think of it as an example of the first lesson of photography. It takes a good subject, and a person has to go find them. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. It was one of those magic moments. Steve
Luis, thank you for your kinds words concerning my posting New Hampshire Calm Base. I was pleased, and humbled to see it reach Top Images. I'm very happy that you enjoyed it.
Thanks Luis for viewing and commenting on my Caedes Sunset photo. I was just trying a few things out in Photoshop and this was the result. I'm glad that you like it. I recently noticed what appears to be a face in the cloud above the spider.

Thank you for the very nice compliment on "Pondside Early." I got there that early to avoid the farm dog - I figured it would stay inside by the pot-bellied stove on so cold a morning. It did too, so it worked out to be a pretty good day! Thanks so much for letting me know you enjoyed the picture. Steve
Thank you for the very nice compliment on "Smith Falls." I find waterfalls difficult to shoot due to all the high contrast areas, different water flow speeds, and compromises needed because of the varied brightness levels of white water, sky and dark shores. It's rare for a shot to come out this well without extensive "lab" work to fix all those problems. This one is "natural." So I really appreciate your comment. Thank you. Steve

Luis .. glad you liked the posting and the story in my posting Remember when - Your first career choice. My son's FAVOURITE toy was a pedal car designed after the General Lee from the old Dukes of Hazard TV series. He burned MORE sets of tires off that car that you can imagine. If given the chance he would likely have setup some jumps for it (or ..it may be that I just haven't heard those stories yet). *wink*
hi Luis, many thanx for ur comment on 'Love letters' glad u like it & the sig, & to be honest with u that was a wee while ago, but i picked it up from somewhere i think, but i did use it for a college project as well just to throw the spanner into the works. anyhoo, take it easy :~)
HI there Luis..thanks for stopping by, commenting and voting on ~reflections~. The entire pond was a reflection & I am glad that I was able to share some of it with you& that you enjoyed it. Much appreciation....:))
Thanks for the comments on "Fall Reflected" Luis I really appreciate it.
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

Luis, thanks for your comment on "The Prototype". I appreciate your opinions on why you do and don't like it. I suppose I could work with the top-right corner a bit more, do you think I should upload a rework? Did you notice the 2 monochrome corners and the strip of distorted pixels? If I do another version, I may want to define those a bit more. What are your thoughts? Thanks again! :-)
Thanks for the advice, but I am still wondering about one mroe thing. Should I enhance the strip of grain and the monochrome corners (which are already there to some degree)? The main color will stay the same, but the upper left and lower right corners have a jagged section of monochrome fuzz that could be enhanced to be mroe noticable. Would that be an improvement? Thanks again.
Hi Luis, many thanks for your high regards for "Gracious Lady"! I appreciate it very much!! Yes, I would be more than happy to give an opinion on some of your floral shots!! Be honored to do so, but you must remember I am an amateur, not a professional photographer, ok? What I have to offer is an untrained eye for what I think of as quality work! So let's go for it, ok? Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Luis, thank you for your comments on "A Speeding Car". I fact, Solberg won this last rally here in Mexico; i've took some of his car on-the-run, but i didn't get a good one. Maybe next year. Thanks again.
Luis, thanks so much for the comment on First Lily! Unfortunately I used digital with auto focus, and although the flower was a tad out of foc, it sure pulled in clarity to the surrounding buds.. and I just had to send this photo up to the site. I am happy to share these shots, and do appreciate any input others have ! Thanks again, Paul ~Ouimon~
You also visited the Old driftwood Beaver Dam! TY for the vote, Luis! It was sure peaceful.. Carling lake behind is big (About 30 kilometers long with 3 or 4 arms), and the calm stretch ahead is a slow river leading to the dam. There were a LOT of fish in there too! The best thing was being there, the next best thing is being able to see it again as a photo and to share this moment!
Hey Luis :D
Thanks for the fab comment on *Opalescent Dreams*...I'm sooo pleased you liked it enough to add to your faves ^_^
And yes, I am 14 ;]
Best wishes
Hi Luis
First of all thanks for your nice comment on "tropical flower" glad you appreciate it.
You asked me to look at your shots and in particular the flowers and give comment on them.
Well...there are two things I don't know what camera you use...but the close ups aint sharp enough....maybe a camera problem.
So find out at what range your camera can make pictures and then don't try to get any nearer then the manual says.
Second: you might try to shoot flowers...or allmost anything of your close ups in a better light.
In fact any shot outside you best take at the right light angle.
During morning and evening the light has a lower angle and give a better effect.
And gives a better contrast between lights and shadows.
So just try it out.
With allmost any camera you can take good shots....but you allways have to be aware of the possibilitys or impossibilitys of your camera.
But at last I want to say there are some really nice shots in your album...so keep on shooting and improving.
And if you want to have one good shot, make a hundred.
thanks for voting. Try to find some old non working analog camera. Remove it;s objective, and there you go, you'll have escellent tool for macro photography...
Luis, thanks for your comments on my "Fog at Pulpit Rock" shot. The "gold" is seaweed growths on the rocks (it was low tide). Glad you liked this shot! Thanks also for your comments on "Misty Geese", Monhegan Surf" and "island Sunset".
