Hi Catherine. Thanks for stopping by, and your comments. Guess I got sloppy in the cropping, as I don't remember anything else there, to make me trim it quite so tight.

Thanks for the comment on my "New Year's Ball Drop" The shot was actually taken using the water that was collected on top of my pool cover in the back yard. So that is the reason for the scattered branches; you are correct though.. they should be removed next time ;)
Hi Catherine -- thanks for viewing spinner. Appreciate the comments. Go ahead and put a bunch of little ones together. Might look cool. Let me see too. Take care...
Thanks for the laugh Catherine at "Only In A Fractal World". One may think I've been eating mushrooms if I don't "settle" down with my works huh? LOL. I enjoy making fun things that bring a smile or a laugh. Life is too serious- this site is for fun and sharing our imaginations with each other. Thanks for stopping by- I appreciate it so much- Eileen

Catherine, thanks for commenting on "Macabre". My manipulations? I cropped it, resized it, played around with the brightness and contrast a bit until I decided the original was best, and planned on increasing the saturation only to find it better when it was dropped slightly. That about sums it up. :-)
Catherine, thanks for the suggestions to this old house. I will have to try working more with Photoshop as I am a new photographer. I have only been taking photos for a couple of months. I like it though when I get feedback other than nice or pretty. I value your honesty.

Thank you for your kind words on Smoky Mountain Falls. I'm not a big fan of using photoshop or anything like that to doctor photos. I just like to take the picture and accept what I've shot. Some people can do really cool things with photoshop but it's not for me! Thanks again-Ryan

Hey Catherine, thanks for your comments on <I surrender 2>.
You wrote "I really like the lighting in this and the composition... not sure if I would pick up on the religious/spiritual overtones without the title, though. Thanks for sharing this. :-)"
To me, it was a study in seeing what's often not seen in a photo/scene, then making something of it. Glad you appreciated the comp.
Hi Catherine, thanks for your comments today, especially on "Airborne". There were about 30 pictures that didn't make it, and that one is a quarter-frame crop. I'm glad you liked it.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.
