Kia Ora Russell, thanks for your nice words on Calm Before The Storm, pleased you liked it and appreciate your comment. I enjoy taking pics from my file of many failures and trying to make something of them. Some work, so most definitely don't :) I was quite pleased with this one and even tried printing it. The results were disappointing.

Many thanks for your kind comment and advice on Ulm Münster. I'll have a play around in photoshop but I kinda like the glow from the windows, sort of makes it seem ghostly. Maybe thats just me...
Thanks for taking the time to let me know what you think.
Thanks Russell for commenting on my flower picture “Red Tiger Lily” This was a flower in my Nabors yard. I would use a ring flash if I had it to shoot again.

Hey Russell! sorry for taking so long, but thank you very much for your comment on "purple sky" i was not in a swamp, but was on some really uneven, rocky, hilly ground so thats prolly why ther is a bit of a tilt. thanks again, glad you liked it! ~abby
I am thrilled to find all the positive attention Lazienki Park capture has received. Who could ask for more? No wonder, the capture was taken in one of the most beautiful parks in Warsaw, where half of Warsaw descends on a Sunday to take the traditional family stroll. 74 hectares of the park feature among others the art-deco Chopin monument, the palace on the water, an old orangery and a classicist amphitheatre. The site originally served as the residence of Stansilaw August Poniatowski - Poland’s last monarch.
wow. sry it took me so long to comment back--but no, the camera is not mine. it's just a picture of a camera that i found, which i didn't take--wish it was mine though, lol.
I see exceptionally warm and inviting November, which turned out to be a little bit mysterious with its morning mists and filtered light has caught your eye. I am glad you decided to follow my series, Russell. I have planned to pit myself against this concept for some time now and was glad to discover that I have actually risen to the challenge. Now that I have tested my camera I am looking forward to some more challenges… Stay tuned
Russell wrote about "railway safety"
An interesting picture. I like the perspective in the rails at the top.
I find it a little awkward in that none of the 'yellow things' are complete in the picture .. maybe a touch over saturated as well.
@ Russell
You are right!
I'll delete it!
Thanks for comment!
John
Thanks Russell for commenting on my squirrel picture “Tornado Tail”. The shutter speed was fast enough to freeze the squirrel but not its twitching tale.
You really are very kind Russell, spending time in my Gallery and leaving such nice observations and comments, to mention only Dunajec castle II capture. I am glad you were not afraid of the brooding castle, the dark menacing waters and a sky brewing up for a storm… In fact I was quite happy with the unusual weather while visiting the place. It gave the whole scene a feel of mystery.
You put a big smile on my face with that lovely comment you left on brown hairstreak “at lunch time”, Russell. Amazing but thistle seems to be the favourite flower for many kinds of butterflies. Once you find these flowers you’ll most probably find some beautiful insects bustling around.
I hope your eyes are gleaming with delight, Russell. Here it comes - winter season with a blanket of pristine white snow on the ground, on the abstract looking trees giving us quite an intimate atmosphere. I am very pleased mountain “winter kingdom” caught your eye and I appreciate your thoughtful comments...
You're right, the text probably wasn't necessary, at the time it seemed to feel right, it was late late during the night, maybe I was "out of it"...not so sure......but thanx for the comment...I do appreciate it. V
Hey Russell thanks for your comment on Dreamtime, i must agree with your view on the text and the Divisions, well it was my 1st time trying he divisions il fix it right now, and repost it soon enough, thanks for looking and commenting :D

You put a big smile on my face with that lovely comment you left on small tortoiseshell at lunch time (“feast of color”). Theses popular butterflies are mainly orange and brown on the top with dark camouflaged underwings (at the image). This time it was easy to find it against the vivid colors of the flowers. Soon I’ll upload some other photo of this cheerful flutterfly. Stay tuned.
Hi Russell, I am pleased you enjoyed my Anniversary photo "just another nut for PatAndre" she seems to have enjoyed it also, she even gave me a kiss, thank you for your comment.
You decorated my mountain landscape with your gracious words, how nice! Now, having your warm lines in my mind - the scenery is not only eye-pleasing for the audience but also heart-warming for the author, lol. I am glad my winter scenery was right up your alley. Stay tuned.

thanks Russell for the post on my Best of British shot - the original stock shot of the bomber had very poor contrast and colour as it was an overcast sky it was photographed against so I had to try and introduce some light movement into it to match the new sky background - it definitely blends in better on the infrared version - but then again that usually covers a multitude of sins :-)
Thanks Russell for commenting on my squirrel picture”Relaxing”. It must have been squirrels day off because most of the squirrels were just hanging out in the trees.
Thank you so much for your nice feedback on "hide and seek". Great you found this nice place deep in the woods worth visiting. As soon as I came across the old trunk I realised it would be a nice focal point for my composition.
Hey Hey Russell, thanks so much for your kind comment on Florida Sunset 1! i have been so busy lately its hard to have time to get on here and view peoples work, and even harder for me to find time to take pictures and get them on here. luckily, spring break gave me a small window to do so. thanks again! ~abby
Your warm feedback to my last winter capture did earn you a HUUUUGE bear hug! So nice you decided to say goodbye to winter season with me. I wanted to make a nice ending and pay tribute to this beautiful but somehow underestimated season. Thanks so much for your nice message, Russell. I am looking forward to your next visit.
Hey Russell thanks so much for your kind comment on Florida Sunset 3! haha yes my eyes were a bit sore...mostly just when i went back inside our condo...i was seeing spots for a while. haha thanks again Russell, I really appreciate it! ~abby
Your applause on rose in floods of tears was incredibly nice, Russell. So good to know flower photography is so popular among so many Caedes friends. Have to admit it is also quiet a challenge once you try to take something more than a snapshot. Thank you for your visit. Till the next time.
Thank you very much for the comment on Tornado. "(Thinks .. was this a lucky one off, or did he shoot a lot?? )" In answer to the question mostly neither. With alot of years of practice I use single shooting.
Hello Russel. Thank you for stopping by to comment on "We Need To Have That Birds And Bees Talk Now" I like to see stories in pictures. It could be the result of reading comics when I was young.
I appreciate your input on my latest Rose photo. The sun was shining on the rose, even tho it was growing amongst a lot of shady plants and trees. I thought the light was kind of nice.I take some in more grey days and some not. I like to experiment, but that why I asked people to make comments so that I know how they see it and feel the photo. Thanx again..verena
I'm sorry that I have just now gotten around to replying on "A Butterfly In The Window" Russel. Thanks. Hey I like you coat of arms avatar. Our family coat of arms dates back as far as before 1066 before the Norman conquest. First found in Lancashire. At least that is what I've read.
i apologize for my delay in replying to all of your wonderful comments...i am busy working a couple of jobs and enjoying the last summer with my friends
Thanks Russell for commenting on my picture “Pound Howler”. These little guys aren’t much bigger than your thumb and getting close enough to photograph one was quite a challenge.
......your lovely words on snub-nosed fellow overwhelms me with pride!... I was surprised to discover so many insects feasting on these flowers. What a great opportunity to take a good shot. You have to beware of busy bees though. Thank you for your visit.

I wish I could find a better way of saying “thank you” for your warm feedback on bee(which apparently seems to be a hoverfly, lol) and "blue heads" my friend. I was really flattered and truly appreciate you taking some time to leave me some nice words. I am so proud to have deserved your kind attention.
Thanks Russell for commenting on my war bird picture “B-24”. Finding a shutter speed that was fast enough to freeze the plane but not to fast as to freeze the propellers.
Hi Russel, thank you so much for your wonderful comment on my photo "American Bald Eagle" I am very proud of this one, and I am blessed to have found a place to get good close ups of these Eagles. I am amazed at their Beauty and plan on many more visits to the World Bird Sanctuary.
I do appreciate the comment on "wave Riding" the software for the frame had nothing to do to the sharpening of the subjects to my knowledge. Probably I just oversharpened when editing.
Sandi♥
Thanks so much Russel for your comment on Orange! i will try messing around with it to see if i can come up with something i like better, thanks for the suggestion! ~abby
To answer your question, yes, it is partly HDR and parts of other stuff that I do in PhotoShop. I like to think of what I present as art, and so digital art seems to be the best suited for my abilities and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks Russell for commenting on my picture “Manicure”. I used the Sigma 50-500mm for this shot. I got it over the winter to compiment my Canon 400mm 5.6 L and my 100-400 L. It's a beast at 4 lbs but delivers sharp images.
I had a look at the other one too. I like them both equally. And the light is wonderful - being natural with no flash. I'm still trying to work out why they don't "grab" me as much as I would expect. Maybe it is because I don't feel a connection with the bird - they are not looking at me and being pretty much side on in both cases there is less of a sense of movement than if they were at an angle or looking straight at the camera.

Hello again, thanks this time for your comment on Winter (v2). I made the sleeve in soft focus on purpose, in fact i blurred everything but the face.but i can see what you are saying, and as soon as i uploaded it i noticed the hand...thanks again for such a detailed comment!

Hi Russel, thanks for your visit and kind comment on "Spikey" Much appreciated. I send you a link about this spikey plant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asclepias_physocarpa Have a nice week.
Thank for stopping by and commenting on "Upside?" I did try to get the mirror effect for this on shot, but I had problems with the angle and getting it all in the shot.
yeah i know what you mean about the lighting on the snow. My pictures on other snowy shots never seem to turn out just right like this one did.
Thank you for the comment by the way!

Hi Russell, Thank you kindly for taking the time to check out Corridor of Windows , and for your great comments + fav. I truly appreciate. And thank you for your friendship. :)
Hi Russell, many thanks for looking in on Characters...very pleased to hear you enjoyed the shot...I'm hoping to capture more of this type of shot in the coming days...do you live in Toronto?
