I could wile away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain
Thanks for your comment on "Summer Trees in Illinois." I'm definately trying to improve my compositions and every little comment helps! I will definately try getting out there again to try taking photos from different angles. Thanks again.

Hi Rob, glad you liked "giant dragonfly" thank you for taking the time to comment. And from one telecom tech to another, welcome to Caedes, you will have alot of fun and make great friends here.
Thanks Rob for your comments on “Great White” My plan for this photo was to use a high aperture (F-16) along with a flash to get the black background. I scoped out a plant suitable for the shot and waited. I was rewarded with the arrival of this big white and the capture was made.
Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar. I very much appreciate your sage wisdom in your comment on "Electric Streets". Your comment about how much thought I put into my photograhy was very kind and I agree. I often forget that the focus of this site is for wallpapers and not just photography critiques.
Well, Rob, one never knows when one might need a flower to cheer one up on a bad day. Or you could always bless some sad girl with it. LOL. Thanks for visiting PondLily Lovely and your kind comments. Goodnight, anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
Sunny Beach was a manipulation to enhance a beach shot of a cool cloud. I added the bird in the forground and adjusted the image to highlight the cloud. Thanks Rob for the very nice comments on this image.

Hiya Rob! Thanks for "swiping" (LOL) Broken Spiral, and for your constructive feedback. I'll have to test out that sandstone effect to see how it works on the BLAMMO. ;) Take care, Smoosh

As I arrived at the top of the stairs from the beach, this lovely young lady jogged up. We exchanged hellos then she turned and jogged off. About 10 yards away, she stop and started to stretch. I got one good shot before she jogged away. My wife was coming up the stairs behind me. This was just a fleeting day dream of the other side of life. Thanks Rob for viewing and commenting on my Stretch n Flex image.

I love this site and everyone I've met has stimulated my artistic side in some way or another. I am embarrassed to say this, but I guess I've missed this message portion of Caedes all this time, as I have just spent the last hour and a half reading over all the kind comments and thanks from ppl to whom I have left posts on their uploads. I usually drop a personal message when ppl comment on mine, but I suppose this is a better way to do it. So my apologies to all...I'll endeavor to do a better job in the future. Every time I turn around on here, there is yet something more to explore, so I want to thank each and every one of you for all your kind comments and the time you take to look at our posts and leave a line or two. I'm sure enjoying my photographic side much more now that I've found this site and all the wonderful ppl on it :)PJ
P.S. I have to add this to this general message. You have been more than kind and generous in your assessment of my feeble efforts..I appreciate your time :)
if i missed anyone, i've been pm'ing my commentors, and letting everyone know i've seen your comments (thank you) and i'll be thanking everyone properly as soon as i can

Glowing Glory did come in a very striking shade of untouched by filters or Photoshop hues of blue...it's one of the reasons I love these little trumpet shaped flowers myself. I just wished they lasted longer :)PJ

I've lost the information on the shutter speed. My program used to show it but no longer with the upgrade. I shot it on automatic so I can't tell you. Ted
