Thanks for the enthusiastic comment, you are very encouraging. The circles are just snow flecks from a blizzard drifting too close to the lens. All can be fixed with the proper professional equipment, but where is the fun in that? ;-)

Hi Verena! I got your messages from A Moment Of Perfect Beauty. So you escaped Louisiana, eh? I'm jealous. I did for ten years, living in Texas, but the deaths of family members brought me back, and here I languish. At least the photography is good here, and I decided if I'm going to be stuck here I may as well photograph what's here.

I visited your website and saw your coloring book. It's beautiful, and it reminds me of my own lack of talent in the poetry dept. Yours is clearly well developed, though. I'm glad I could give you some reminiscences.

Thanks for your comments on "wind sculpted snow", Verena. I took this just after the storm ended and it was gone by the next day.

Verena,
Boy, you have been busy! Thank you for visiting some of my images. Your kind words make me humble. I have received your PM and I promise to write as soon as I can find a moment or two. I am thrilled that you enjoyed my dedication to you with my Parliment image, As I mentioned before; nothing can please a photographer more than to have someone recall a happy moment in their life when they lookat an image created by the photographer. You will be hearing from me soon.
