Hi waterlung, and a great big welcome to Caedes. Am I really the first to message you? Anyway, thanks for your comments on Kom Ombo, they're much appreciated.
Cheers! Ray.
In regards to "Nostalgia"......thanks for the comment ...... I can remember my father telling me he walked to country school. As he got older, the distance between the school and home got longer too. ....(smile)
Thanks again.....Rod
Thanx for your comments on Glastonbury Torr #2 . There was very little I could do about the sun as I was unable to get a complete shot from a different tower wall due 2 the tiny mound the Torr sits on.
If this type of shot interests u I'll have photos of Avebury 2 upload soon.
Catch u later
Phil
Thanks for the comment on Red Sky at Night. It's interesting that you don't like the tree in the bottom right-hand corner. I deliberately left it in as it a) Gives a sense of scale to the photo and b) proves it was taken from my back garden. Anyway, if we all had the same opinions the world would be a dull place.
Thanks for the comment on the Snake photo. Not to burst your bubble, but it wasn't taken in the wild. I wish it was. It was at an aquarium. I just got lucky that the snake was in a good, visible spot. :)
Thanks for stopping by to comment "Deception Pass". I never quite thought of the blurriness adding to it - maybe I should play it off like that, just kidding. Thanks again!
Howdy from Arizona - thank you for stopping by '11-11'! I've been there a few times and it's always intense so I'm glad to know I was able to capture some of it. Thanks again!
Thanks for commenting on "Crystal Ball", much appreciated! Ray tracing is a way of creating 3D images with much more photorealism than other computer graphics techniques (it's particularly good at lighting, reflections etc). It can produce some very cool results.
hey, thanks for the comment on "Oh So Many", unique is what i try to aim for. everyone wonders what the puffs are when alive, so i really have to check that out.
Thanks for your comments on "Stormy Weather". i see what you're getting at with the cropping but I left the stone wall in deliberately as this is one of the sides of Fort Perch Rock in New Brighton and was part of a series of pictures taken of and round about the fort. Thanks for looking and for your encouragement.
Thanks for the comment on Girl 21. Its a computer draw using a draw pad and mouse. I use CoralDraw for the sketch and than touch up with Coral Paint for the finish.

I tell them that, to me, poetry is like weather—
and you wouldn’t say “I don’t like weather”, would you?” –David Kirby
