Nope, I don't really have anything new because I haven't really done anything in a while. I went from one extreme of being terribly busy for 2 weeks to the opposite of being very lazy last week, so no new photos or scans of old ones. Plus Spring hasn't really arrived yet, (there's still alot of snow in alot of the mountains), and I think everyone's getting kind of tired of snow pictures anyway.:-P
My major is what they call "Computer & Systems Engineering", which is pretty much equivalent to electrical engineering with a minor in computer science. I hope it was a good decision, since it's too late to change now. I've only got a year left!
I finished my studies since more than 20 years and I dream again to exams... Then, I wake up happy to have finished!
At home the spring is really there. We begin the BBQ :-)
Well it was a test to see if I could replicate some of the trouble we had with subscriptions... but of course, posting a message on my own profile had the effect of making me view it before the subscription even had a chance to record it, so I basically just made a fool of myself...:-)
I took the picture of those pine needles the same day as I took several dozen others of trees around town. If I placed yours in error, I certainly apologize. I'll remove this one from Caedes.
To answer your question reguarding cameras, I currently have an Olympus D-520. It's about a year and a half old, though, and I'm starting to think of looking for something newer. I've had a couple Olympus cameras, and liked them greatly, but am considering some different brands (or a more expensive Olympus) for something with more control and options. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Hmm...I'm a little disappointed that you changed your little icon away from the one that had my hand in it, G. But I was with you when the new one was taken so that's OK. I may have even taken it...anyways, nice pics!
Thanks Mike, It was one of the most exciting shoots that I have ever done. I took hundred of shots. I'll keep posting a few. Sorry to hear about your cousin. This was the weekend that Jaqui Cooper made her comeback after wrecking her knee in the lead up to the Olympics. She was second in the first competition - on her home slopes.

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Mike, this super Marco seating on my fine pix is something else, it really gets you in close. Thanks so much for your opinion on Evil Intent it is much appreciated. Dwight.

Thank you Mike for taking the time to comment on my image. I'm glad that you enjoyed this Backyard Mushroom 9 photo. The truth is that I put the leaves around the base and sprayed everything with water and waited for the drop to form. I also added a small lens flare to the drop to make it stand out.

Mike - thanks for your words on 'Cape' - I was lucky that the contrast of the overall image came out ok as I've had difficulties in the past matching up the exposures of each of the component images - anyway thanks!
hello mike. thanks a lot for your answer to my d-520 post. indeed, nice pictures you took with it. i really enjoy using this camera and don't plan replacing it with any better in the nearest future, so i guess i just have to learn a bit more about taking good photos:)
Hi Mike, thanks for your comments on 'Evening in La Mauricie'. You would be surprised to know that in actual fact the image isnt tilted and this effect is caused by the ripples on the lake as a gentle breeze was blowing from the left of the picture. Sorry about the small size i was trying to fit a lot of pictures on a limited memory card and the camera isnt the best either.
