Hi Marou! Thanks for stopping by and commenting on "Systems." I use many fractal programs to generate my starting fractals. Then I take them into Photoshop and blend and paint more. That's why my fractals look so different from most. The fractal programs I use are VChira, Tierazon, Fractal Explorer, Fraxplorer, and others. Have a great day.

Azaleas 2 is a clipping from my Azalea bush that was stuck in a fence post in the sun. I used a Black velvet cover art board for the background and photographed this flower in telephoto-macro mode with a fill flash. I used ISO50 at f11 for the exposure and let the camera pick the shutter speed. Thanks Marou for viewing and commenting on this image.

Thank you so much for the great words for my project Orange. Seeing the wonderfull things you do I take it as a high compliment. I am no where as good at this as you ( or 99% of the rest that post here) but I do love working on them. I fid it a great stress relief tool and if someone else sees sometihng they like and it makes them happy to look at it then all the better. Thanks, yes my Garfield, Maybe?? is one of the Persian Breeds. She is a peke-faced Exotic Shorthair. Actually she is Champion Desmon Duet. She was given to me by her owner when her retired her from the show ring. Her poor nose is deeper in her face, than her eyes. She is a wonderful friend and I love her dearly, as well as my Tulip, whom I use as my icon.. So glad you enjoyed my photo of her.. Thanks again for your support..

Thanks again, for The Stage this time.... When this came up in the program, I thought of the balle,t of which I am very fond. It was like standing at the edge of the balcony, just before the show.. I could see the dancers getting ready, and the orchestra warming up in the pit.. I can see those seats filled with people, waiting to see the performance. As you can see I have been to way too many ballets.

Most of my favorite Apophysis images that I created are the old ones (you know, before 24 hour renders were invented). Sure, the quality is bad and evident, but the shapes are so much fun to guess! As for making great flames, it really isn't a skill. :-) It is a little bit like photography: You do develope an eye over time, but the biggest factor is the amount of piictures you take. Hi Marou, as you can see I am way behind in my responses but nevertheless greatly appreciate your visit and favorable words on I See A Fractal...I'm pleased it caught your eye...I used a drawing program I have had for many months and often use for manipulation and layers etc. but only just recently discovered you could replicate and transform images with it creating 'fractal like' designs...it doesn't have the capabilities of a regular fractal program but is fun to experiment with and all my computer is willing to put up with, lol...a long time ago both me and my computer decided that the fractal programs are too taxing for 'our' minds...the drawing program came from serif.com...thanks again for your time and interest.:Pat
