Thank you for your comments on "Water Sprites". I used a soft focus lens to create a very soft look to the image. It wae done intentionally. I'm pleased you liked it.
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

Hello Ed, I wish the quality were better also on Forget-me-nots, but I was a beginner when this picture was taken, lol.

A Cool Rose! I like the concept of combining the cold snow with the soft, lovely flower!! When the flowers are ending their time of beauty, I do this a lot! The reflection of light from the snow makes the color of the rose more excititing! Please stop by and visit again! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks for the comment on whatever my picture was called... I appreciate it a lot! I also checked out that picture of yours that you told me to. Very nice.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Thanks for the comment on ...and so it begins... Actually, it isn't a fractal, I just used different sizes of colour filled circles, then blurred it out, and highlighted it etc.
Hia Ed, and thanks for commenting on light speed. Yes I did use a number of gradients in this picture. I enjoy the use of colour. I don't like not using colour, I guess you could say I'm a bit of a colour freek!! Glad you liked it by the way and thanks for the high mark....lol.
All the best, will look out for some more of your stuff.
Hello Ed...it's me again. Thank you for your comments on "Lynette".
