Thanx go to you for your great enjoyment of my beach shot. I love that kind of feeling also. The quiet is so different at times like that. I appreciate your words very much...by the way where at the Gulf Coast do you live? I lived for a short time in Grapevine, north of Ft.Worth...and my parents lived in Hurst. THere is NOTHING like the seafood from the Gulfcoast fishing...nothing compares to it, we have great stuff here in Oregon, but NOTHING like whats down there...I miss it a lot...verena

I live in Pasadena next door to Houston. Have always lived here in Metro Houston. My vacations, when I get them, usually consist of going to the beach which is cheap enough, but that's all I need. Some time away.

Oddly enough, I am not a huge seafood fan. I like good shrimp cocktail, but not much else. I was a fussy eater as a kid. However, I consume mega amounts of good Mexican food which we got plen-ty of down here.
