Hi Doug! Thanks for stopping by & visiting ~lightning at 33,000 feet RW~. I had 149 pitch black shots for this one capture. No, I didn't not keep the shutter open, I just kept shooting. Since we were flying at such a high altitude, the lightning was amazing an pretty continous, so I just treid to wipe off the airplane window :) & put the camera lens as close as possible, put it in 'burst' mode and shot away! Glad you enjoyed. Thanks :~)
Thanks, Doug, for taking a look through my gallery. I really appreciate all the nice comments you left along the way. With my shot of the ducks, I was really close and I really did crash through the snow covered ice! Look forward to more of your stuff.I like what I've seen so far. Happy Halloween!!
Hi Doug..thanks for visitng my gallery & leaving good words for ~reflections~. I agree that, when in the right light, the maalard duck has very beautiful colors. I am glad you enjoyed the image! I sure enjoyed capturing it! :)
Thanks again, Doug, for such nice comments. Glad you liked "the wind's up". That jetty is a great place for fishing and people watching, although not that day.
Welcome to Caedes Doug. Thank you for your nice comment on the "mountain hut". I am glad you liked it. Indeed the photo hasn't been modified in the photoshop or anything. It is real colour, contrast and shadows. If you like mountain landscapes I would strongly encourage you to browse through my gallery. Perhaps you will find something of interest. Stay tuned
Organic metal..wow..what a great thought...thank you so much for your comment on my Brass Liquid Rose...it was fun to do...and your comment made me smile
Thank you for your nice feedback on the "medieval ruins in Ogrodzieniec". I am glad you found it worth a visit. Jurrasic Upland is famous for its beautiful medieval ruins. I guess it is a dream land for any landscape photographer. I wish you than to be able to come to Poland one day and see the region with your own eyes.

Hey Doug, Thanks for the comments on "Bold Beauty". All you have to do to create images like that is to figure out the math and plug the numbers in. ;o)

Hello Doug, Thank you for your comments about “Territorial Vigilance”. We have the plain white Egrets too, they might not be so colourful but they are very elegant as they stalk their prey.
Hi Doug ! Thanks so much for your comments on " Cadillac Memories ". I'm so pleased you liked it & I'm really pleased it brought back happy memories for you. A greater compliment could not have been paid to me.

Hi Doug...thanks a lot for your thoughtful observations of Stark...I very much enjoyed reading your comments and was pleased at your interpretation and that you liked it...much appreciated.:Pat.
Hey Doug, thanks for stopping in at "home grown orchids". The home in this case is my brother's down in Venice, Florida. Your thoughtful comments are much appreciated.
Hey Doug! Thanks for the analysis of "Crazy Thatches". LOL! I didn't really know how to interpret that one. I just knew I liked it. Glad you did too!..=]
Hi Doug! Thanks for the comments on "Electric Parasol". LOL! I didn't know my work was all similar enough that you could spot it just by looking at the thumbnails. Gonna have to do something about that..=]
Hello Doug, I’m a fan of B&W photos too. There was some low cloud and mist through the trees in “Tuckers House” so I just enhanced it. Thanks for your comments about it, they are much appreciated.
Also thanks for the info you sent about your lens. I’m a great believer in asking the users, they seam to give more honest appraisals than the official reviewers.
Hey Doug, thanks for the kind words on Sandpiper. I must have looked like a nut-case walking around in circles on the beach with my face in my camera taking pictures of those little sandpipers but the only way I've found to take one good close-up of them is to take 100 bad shots. I'm glad you liked this one :)
Hi Doug....no problem with the word. Check my gallery. I have a lily with a name you will recognize :) I am so glad that you enjoyed this capture. We redid the front of the house this year and this was the first plant to bloom & I just went & took a shot for history and of course, it turned out better that something I try really hard for :)....I am glad that you enjoyed it. Your support,comments/critique are deeply appreciated. Thank you :~)
Hey Doug...see, no problem using that word! Glad you liked the image. It is one of my personal favorites. I think it has more to do with the flower than the actual image. Thanks for stopping by. I enjoyed your visit :~)
Hey Doug, Thanks for the comments on "Sunset in Paradise". I'm trying to look "outside the box" while creating fractals. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. I think this one worked. ;)
Hey there! Nice to meet you. I wanted to say a big thank-you for taking the time to write such a lovely and thoughtful comment, it made me see my work a new way too! Cheers..
Thanks Doug for stopping by to view and comment on my Redtail Hawk image. After I took this photo of this beautiful bird tried to move to a new perch and lost his balance. It was sad to see him flopping around on the limb tring to get his footing with only one good wing. I appreciate your support of this image.

Thank you Doug for your comments on "Smoky Mountain Dreamscape". I wish I had been able to go again this year but things come up when you least expect them to.

Thanks for the kind words on Peeking into Paradise. I didn't mind being in a tent on the other side of the lake because the view of the lodge was so pretty.
Thank you Doug for taking time to comment on my pic "Hanthana". Beyond the mountains are many tea plantations and I guess its a bless to live in an area like that. How ever travelling is bit difficult :)
Dear Doug. Thank you for your comment on my photo "Hope?".People worked hard to overcome the tsunami tragedy, and these children were provided with new uniforms and shoes to attend school forgetting what they faced. With help of every one including from countries like urs we are in process of rebuilding our nation again. My countrymen are nice people with compassion and caring for all and I'am proud to be one of them. Thank you!
Glad you discovered my sunset dusk and left me such a nice comment. If you like sunset captures I would like to strongly encourage you to browse through my gallery. Stay tuned.
Hello Doug...welcome to caedes and many thanks for your nice comments on Snow-Capped for Santa...glad you liked it and I appreciate your dropping by.:Pat.
Hi Doug. Thanks for your visit to "The Ovens", my cemetery photo. The cemeteries in New Orleans are full of compelling images, having been in use since 1750. There are beautiful scultures left to break apart while the families whose loved ones are there have moved on or as nature has reclaimed their burial sites. It makes for some good photography.
