hey - i just looked at the picture of the Salt Lake Visitor's Center - I didn't know you were LDS too! Cool! I've liked your photography for a while now... keep at it. As for church, stay strong, peace be unto you, and S.M.I.L.E. ("spiritually minded is life eternal..." 2 Nephi 9:39) There's nothing that brings greater peace and happiness into one's life than living righteously and following the gospel. Anyways, hope all is well with you and your loved ones, and good luck in Seminary next year - it's a great way to start the day, even though it's a bit early = )
(and good luck with your eagle - I'm working on it too - aren't we all!)
tyler thanks for the nice comment on "repercussions"... these are real fun to make, and it's cool to take a number of shots of water in my sink and seeing what i come up with. glad you enjoyed it ;]
Hi Tyler. Thanks so much for the compliment on "Lakeside Early." I was really pumped about how that photo came out and I'm glad you liked it too. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. Thanks again... Steve
Hey Tyler... thanks for your comment on Big Chief... im glad you liked it... im trying to create different things on apophysis.... keep a look out for the unusual.. lol... im having a great time experimenting.. :D
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

Thank you so much Tyler for your comments and compliments on Cool Beauty reworked!
Much appreciated. I had no images to work with or so I thought, this was a rather terrible image and I think it turned out not too badly.

Thanks Tyler for viewing and commenting on my Mexico Beach Sand Flea image. I love the beach and ocean but don't get to visit it as often as I'd like to. I'm glad that you like this image.

"In my mind's eye, I visualize how a particular... sight and feeling will appear on a print. If it excites me, there is a good chance it will make a good photograph. It is an intuitive sense, an ability that comes from a lot of practice."

Tyler, thanks for the comments on "Iced Pinus". I agree, it is a fantastical shot full image, but I swear I did not manipulate it! It was that beautiful outside!
thanks tyler for the odd comment on "wizardry".. not sure what you mean by it being on the top images, since i uploaded it in june.. but glad you like it lol
Thanks for stopping by to see Antique Star. I'm glad you liked it..heh - Someday I'll get half as good as your stuff and I'll be real glad to make it that far :-) heehee..another year or so maybe.
Thank you Tyler for the comment on "Fluffy White Stuff". I could have made it a full desktop, but this border added so much more to the overall image in my eyes. Appreciate the time you took to comment:-)
Hello Tyler! Thanks for viewing and commenting on my beach image. I have several more to upload in the future but I'll space them out to have some variety. I'm glad that you like my Mexico Beach 3 photo.

Thanks Tyler, for your support and nice comments on ( It ). I was uneasy about posting this on Caedes, thought i might be laughed out of town, with all the fantastic work posted here. I did this work in Apophysis. Dwight.

Hi Tyler! Thanks for the nice compliment on "Milk Run." I also posted a photo of the entire waterfall so people could get an idea of what it looks like, though it was difficult to get a decent shot due to the difficult terrain at the bottom of the falls. Anyway, I'm glad you liked it. Oregon is SO beautiful. I don't foresee a shortage of subjects for future outings... Steve
Thanks, Tyler. The thing (Reflection of Ra) has to be at least 6 feet in diameter. I can definitely see it as some freaky torture device in a horror flick. For some reason, I still find it to be quite beautiful.
Thanks as always for stopping by! You're right; it is a little "BAM", isn't it? Still, I sort of
wanted a more aggressive look, so I'm guessing I did that. Thank you for your remarks!

Makes me happy be of his pleasure
There is a land of pure delight,
Beyond the Jordan's flood,
Where saints, apparelled all in white,
Fling back the critic's mud.
And as he legs it through the skies,
His pelt a sable hue,
He sorrows sore to recognize
The missiles that he threw.

Hello Tyler, Many thanks for your comments about “Harmony”. I just can’t resist those rolling hills when the sun is low. Watching the shadows creep around is almost like watching a very slow movie.
Hi Tyler thankyou so much for commenting on 'Sunshine Badlands'. No computers were used to generate this photo but i confess i did tweak the contrast just a little bit LOL. This was the most spectacular view i got when i was out in Spain. It was pretty incredible and it did look a little unreal to me too when i was standing there :)
Hey there Tyler thanks for the nice comment on "Entity" and the advice about the spots outside the image. It was something totally new for me and comments are very helpful! Thanx again~ Maria
Just wanted to drop a thanks for your highly valued comments on Paths of Darkness ;-) I really appeciated it and I'll try and keep up the good work lol.

Thank you for visiting my Spring Runoff... Almost. I must admit that I am a bit tired of the snow. The forecast is for snow and more snow until the 2nd of May. This is going to be a wonderful spring as the wildflowers will be in profusion.

Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art.
It is a solar phenomenon,

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
I'm uploading my photography on deviantart.com as well so you'll start seeing some of my same stuff on that site aswell. If I think people like it enough, i might buy a subscription and sell my artwork on it.
