Hi Kurt, thanks for taking the time to comment on my Silver Lake pic. Your Silver Lake pic is just stunning! It's hard to tell whether it's the same lake from your picture or your description. The one in my photo is along Hwy. 88 (89?) about 45 minutes above the town of Pioneer and just below Caples Lake. Does that help?
Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are also available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
Hey Kurt...thanks for your comments on "Hawk Falls 2"...this really is a great swimming spot. It's deep enough to jump off of the ledge on the falls into nice cold water. And if that water is too cold, you can warm up in a river 50 feet away!
Thank you so much for your nice feedback on "pink" flower. So glad you found it so appealing. Your generous words are very appreciated. Why don't you visit my other works. I am curious what you think about them. Stay tuned.

Hi Kurt, thanks for those positive comments about my photograph of the buzzard! I am pleased you liked it! :) it is one of my favourite birds of prey photographs!

“Just a couple Chevy's”
I went to the URl you posted. Is that yours?
Now that's the way I remember my buddies Chevy looked, and we cruised the town in it. Young idiots we were... but we were cool! Lol
I’m glade to be able to share with you.
Thank you.

Joe, only the pic is mine. The car is in a garage a couple of blocks away on the adjacent property where my in-laws live. Even though it looked like that I'll bet you could fix it if you wanted to. Unlike today's cars... If you like cars check out my gallery; there may be something else you like there. Thank you too for sharing.
Hi Kurt.. thanks for your great comment on Follow The Light I'm glad you liked it.. I thought it had a Pink Floyd feel to it, like "Another brick in the wall"..
Exactly right Kurt! I beat him up the hill - but I took the easy way! lol! Steep rocky climb on one side - rough rocky pathway on the other but it rises slowly! thanks for your comments and for making me laugh! Patti

Thanks Kurt!
You are right (your comment on 'Walking in the Himalaya') about the lack of colors in the mountains. The mountains here are very dry. But sometimes, you find a little river with flowers everywhere. Thanks again :-)
Howdy from Arizona - thank you very much for taking time to leave the nice words at "Inside looking out"! After we got him, I found out different-colored eyes is called 'heterochromia' - but he's normal in every other way. Thanks again Kurt! PS: really like your classic car pics!
Hey Kurt, Thanks for stopping by "Filter" That leaf has the magical power of getting me into college...at least thats what the instructions on the box said ;)

Hi Kurt, thanks for your kind comments on 'Royal Holloway' and 'Out on a Limb'. Much appreciated, especially from someone whose work I admire as much as yours.
Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
Kurt, thanks for looking at "Perch Rock Lighthouse". I'm so pleased that you liked it. I was very lucky with the light as the sun came out just as I was taking the picture and illuminated the lighthouse as if it was a spot-light!

Thanks for stopping by my picture glendalough and giving me your input. I'll have a play around with it and see if I can improve the colour. I remember on this picture I had just started useing photoshop and managed to save it with quite a bad touch up. So this was a bit of a rescue job. I'll go back and see if I can mess around again.
Yes the caedes is great for shareing places. I love the mountain shots you have done.
Thanks

Thanks Kurt for the comment and I did crop a little off the top. Just not enough I guess for your preference. Hey thanks for stopping by and hope to hear from you again.

Hi Kurt, I am glad you liked my photo "My new bird studio" with the Great Blue Heron I captured. It is nice to finally get outdoors again instead of shooting from my laundry room all the time.

Your warm lines give me a lot of mental simulation to keep shooting, Kurt. And I am truly humbled by the way you follow my images, my friend. Thank you for the raves you gave so willingly to “spring blossom II”.
