Thanks, Chamaelon! I used to take a lot of photographs in college, but I sort of fell out of the habit until last year, when I bought a digital camera. I'm really enjoying the experience.
Glad you like Fire in the Sky. Also, Painted Lady. Many thanks! You're right, by the way, about Old South (Atlanta). Don't forget those shots of the Civil War were taken by photographers lugging huge 8X11 format cameras.Today, a 4X5 is hugely expensive, but much less cumbersome.

Thank you so much for the kind words on "The Flower". It was taken the day our 17th grandbaby was born & the day was gorgeous & this flower was begging to be photo'd. Pierre helped with this a great deal because the sun was shining so bright it was actually glaring off of the petals.
