Please forgive me: I want to thank everyone who views and comments my images, I try but it is hard to write individual thank you at times. Please know you are appreciated!
Philippe - thanks for the post on Outcast: 2 - I did it originally in Infrared - and both Terri and I discounted the sepia version for sending out the wrong message. this shot is here merely as a finished example of the Sepia & Ageing Effects tutorial I posted. the reasons for each post are clearly explained on both versions.
Please forgive me: I want to thank everyone who views and comments my images, I try but it is hard to write individual thank you at times. Please know you are appreciated!
Thank you, Philippe, for taking time to comment on Pilgrim tower. I am glad you appreciate my effort. Even though I was completely out of my breath and slightly dizzy, it was a lot of fun to take that shot.
Philip, thanks for stopping by "The Realization". It isn't all that hard. The floor mats gave me the idea, like she was gliding into th place. I wanted to make it a continual streak, but I just don't have the software capabilities. I took a cutout of her face anc clothes (not the hair) and spaced them how I wanted them, but I adjusted the transparency of each layer to fit what looked right. I must say I was happier with it when I was creating it than I am now, but isn't that always how it works?
Big thanks for saying that "She is lucky" is other than flowers, abstracts, fractals and landscapes >:) You can figure out your own story about it, if you want to!
Please forgive me: I want to thank everyone who views and comments my images, I try but it is hard to write individual thank you at times. Please know you are appreciated!
Philippe, merci pour vos commentaires - Moulin Rouge. Excuse my French, it is not too good (like most English ;) ). I appreciate you taking the time to comment, Patti

Hello Philippe. Thank you for your comments about “Resting”. From personal observation I think the wing forward position is their alert position, something like a cat bunched up ready to pounce.
Hi Philippe, Night Watch started out as a sunset that I wasn't too crazy about so......I started playing with it, of course, and waaalaaaa! Glad you like it!
Bonjour Philippe, merci beaucoup pour tu commentaire sur mon image "Little Port Sunset", I'm so glad you liked it, I really wish you to get to visit one day! Also thank you for adding me on your Friends list, I did the same :)
Have a nice weekend!
Maria
Oodles of thanks for your nice words and for checking out Emotional Emancipation !! I really appreciate it as well as your support, it means a lot to me!!
Thank you Philippe for your very kind words on "If Only I Could Talk (Collaboration)". I love taking images like this. I have been known to sit on a rock for three or four hours just waiting for the light to turn just right.
Actually, this image was taken in the great State of Washington.
Thank you again.
Philippe, you nice comment on Alive Tranquility is much appreciated! I really picked up this particular picture of series of 30 on the same lake because of the special “mood” I found in it. Thanks again and see you in the site. :)
Hello Philippe, i thanks you for looking and commenting on Eternal Beauty , so glad you liked it. I agree with you about the voting i liked the old way too, but i guest we will have to get used to it. Have a happy day. Dwight.
The emotions, the tears, of wasted years, wash over me like a cold wind out of the north. I tremble and shake, with each breath i take, and there's no one around me that cares. Dwight.
Hi there Philippe ! Though you weren't really able to critique or comment on my latest fractal, And Rumplestiltskin Is My Name, I appreciate the fact that you gave it a look. I can't ask for more !
Good Day Philippe! I really appreciate the nice words you gave for 'On The Road To The Morning'....I'm honored that you like it and I thank you so much for the comment!
Thanks once more!
Cindy
Bonjour Philippe, thanks for your feedback on "Sleeping Village". I agree, the photo is a bit busy the way I presented it. I wish I had more views of that church, but I haven't... just took that picture when I was passing by....
Thanks Philippe for the post on Bygone Barn - I just checked for you - it was built on 1794 but is in very good condition. I'm so glad I posted the mono version as it worked so much better than the colour
Thank you for you comments and observations about “Lady Walka” Philippe. She’s actually a mannequin set up to amuse visitors to a lake. The photo hasn’t been manipulated though. All I did was darken the shadows and not by much either.
Thank you for your comments on "Pink Blossoms". I agree that the green border is a bit intense. I will have to play around with a new border. Thank you again...
Hello Philippe, Yes, I found out they were Dutchmans Breches, and the others I had seen in red, were of the same family. Quite a tiny little thing, to have such a shape, and detail.
Thanks for stopping by. Your comments are always appreciated.
And, welcome to Ceades. I'm sure you'll enjoy the site.
Ahh Philippe! Thank you so much for your delightful comment about "The Oaks of St Joseph". You have my apologies for my delay in responding to your note. I was away from home for several days, and just uploaded anothe image from the same location - but the trees in this image are a bit younger. Merci Beaucoup!
Hi Philippe, I have snuck away from my holiday to say thank you for your compliment about A Cup of Flowers. I so appreciate you and I will be back online soon. Carrie
Phillippe I am honored with your compliments about
sky fire tree 2. Aren't we blessed to be on this planet,
to be surrounded with such beauty to photography. Eric eyeyes
Hi Philippe! I really appreciate the comment on 'A Play Of Light', thanks bunches for the kind words and I'm really pleased you like it!
Thanks again!
Cindy
Hi Philippe, Thanks for the comment on "Stone Face". I was going to make up a story about free climbing a rock face and finding this carving, but I'm not much good at lying. This was shot at the museum in Temecula. There are a lot of indian artifacts around this area and the museum has a good collection. I've even found a few pieces myself, including a grinding bowl that was used to grind acorns in.
thanks for your suggestion, philippe. i'd like to use photo filtre but it's for a pc and i use a mac. i tried the auto fx edges but can't really figure it out. i guess the black will do. thanks for taking an interest! jen
we've just returned from a photo trip. i apologize for all the comments i didn't send regarding both your photos and your comments to my photos. it would take forever. so please forgive me.
please visit my gallery

Hi Philippe, thanks for the comments on "The Moon" very much appreciated. The ISO was 64 but I can sett it on 400 but no higher.
I let you now when I have tryed. ISO 400 and tripod :) Thanks for the tip :)
Kia Ora Phillippe, thank you for kindly commenting on my Highland Fling. It went through many transformations before reaching its final shape. I appreciate your interest :)
Thanks Philippe for your post and critique on The Rough & The Smooth. You’re right about the exposure - it is scorched in places but I did that deliberately - processed an over exposed and a very underexposed version of the same raw shot then did a HDR montage of the two in Photomatix Pro. Decided on that really as the rest of the image is very heavy and dark and I wanted to lift it's mood.
White Hot ---- Wasn't hard sparing you a color version. Only the rich used color in those days, young fella.
And you had to take a hand held meter reading, set the aperture and shutter speed, wind between shots, etc. I truly miss it all, but I sure would have liked a digital darkroom, back then.
Good morning Philippe --- Glad you liked the little girls. I always thought I got a great animated sequence that day. Of course, they must be 50 years old by now. I'm still looking for the best one. If I find it, you'll love it.
Hi Philippe! Lots and lots of Thank You's for the kind words you gave for 'On The Rocks', your comments are always appreciated and I'm really happy to hear you like it!
Thanks again!
Cindy
Hello Philippe! Thank you for taking a peek at Multiplying. I enjoy so much manipulating photographs, and a grateful for your time in viewing them. Best Wishes, Carrie
thanks for your comment on "pileated woodpecker" It may appear to be a print, but it is indeed a photograph. My boyfriend took the picture just yesterday with my camera. I hope you enjoyed it.
thanks for your comment, yea, jejej the turquise here in Oaxaca are very special, in fact in the old time, when the mexican cinema it was in the gold time, a lot of the movies that was filmed, was film here in my beautiful state.

Hi Philippe.
I have one somewhere without Max in it. If I don't find it, I'll clone over him. Not too sure about contrast. Think I tried it and lost too much in the ripples. Can't remember for sure.
Hi Philippe! Thanks a million for the kind words you left for 'To Yet Prevail', I so appreciate it, as well as appreciating you taking time out to comment and view!
Thanks again!
Cindy
Hello Philippe. Glad you enjoyed Monument Valley, and thank you for the kind comments re my Grandfather. It wasn't really meant to be anything but a sort of historical vision, of what they wore into battle, so many years ago.
Thank you for your comment on Endless Death Valley Road! Glad you liked it. And you added me as a friend to receive a message when I post a new picture, or what? :) Have a great day!
Salut Philippe. Merci pour ta visite sur 'Summer's memories'. Connais-tu la vallée de la Meuse? La partie française (en aval de Chareville-Maizières) est superbe également...
Bonjour Philippe, I appreciate your words on "Dolce far niente". Sometimes you can't say exactly why you are attracted to a particular photo... but I have always liked this one too. Did you notice the blue flowers he picked? Such a sweet detail... Thanks for viewing!
Cher Philippe [hopefully this is French and you will not be offended by being called 'Cher' in English] - languages are a bother these days for me ... too many nationalities here LOL
Thanks so much for your great constructive comment on 'poppy at night'.
Disregarding the dangers I will resume this challenge !!! LOL
** For the next few weeks, I will not be Commenting as much as I should, I Will be looking at ALL of your Picture posts...I apologise from the bottom of my heart for this...Things should be back to 'normal' after the holiday period**
