Thanks Philippe, for the favourable comment on "Two Glides". All these
flowers where they sit on its Poppy's. Because flowers become every
year visited insecten get you other colour mutations. Glide does not
prick, stab, and that is easy to photograph.

Forgive me for generic thank you to everyone but I got a whole slew of really kind comments about Sailing Ship that I hadn't expected. It's been a terrifically long and tiring day and rather than ignore all the generous thoughts, I'm sending the same sentiments to each who viewed the image. Thank you all so very much. You've blessed me, anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
Thank you for your words of praise for Hawaiian Easter Lily. I wasn't sure about this one because it's more about interst than grab-your-soul beauty. I'm tickled that it's getting such nice reviews. I appreciate it P. anne:-)

Bonsoir Philippe, thanks for your visit on "Fragile pink", I liked it too. Amazingly these fragile flowers were growing in a parking place, between gravel and stone...
Hi Philippe, thanks for the comment on my window photograph and yes the window is completely real. :) As the property is empty a lot of the time, the bars are security bars, but they do open right out. Patti :)

Hello Philippe...
hey that was a 'Blast from the Past'!!! Dales Brook has been in my gallery for some time now!
But, sincere thanks for the visit to it...................Bob
Hi Philippe, I was quite pleased with my horse photograph and you confirmed it was good. :) Are you a teacher by any chance? - you sound like one! lol - and I appreciate your comments, so please don't take offense. :) Patti

Dear Philippe,
Many thanks for your viewing my recent images and SPECIFICALLY 'my baby' !!!
He is my pride and joy LOL
And he simply looks like a lazy handsome male indifferent to all the attention he receives all the time LOL This is his reaction to camera - "Oh not again ... which magazine you from ? OK let's have it taken ... But only one !" LOL
Vain and spoilt by his career and successes like a pop star LOL
hi philippe, i'm glad you liked 'noon at sunflower cafe'...the bee was the reason for the title...maybe i might try shooting it again sans bee, its in a place i'm working near for now

Hello PHilippe and thank you so very much for your very lovely words on my Teazel flower posting. They are a unique wildflower...yes Oregon seems to have a lot of beauty in it. I cant get enough of taking many photos on those summer days...thank you again mon cher!..V
Merci Philippe pour les commentaires sur Family Heirloom. J'expérimente avec Photoshop et c'est rassurant de savoir quand je suis dans le bon chemin. :)
Bonsoir Philippe, thanks for commenting on my horses, LOL, I am so glad that you are a real horse expert( oh la la! ). I am very pleased with all your comments!
Thanks, Philippe for commenting on the "Death" image. I took that shot just before a BNSF train turned the curve! Boy, did the engineer ever give me a dirty look. Everyone is still very sensitive about what happened.
You're such a brat Philippe! I'll go back to Hawaii in a flamingoes heartbeat. Want to buy my ticket? You're right, the flash did burn out the poor darling's chest but they were so wacky I had to share them anyway. Thanks for your ever welcome comments. anne :-)

Hi Phillipe,
I was too busy with all kinds of things and it is here also much too
hot your keep brain at each other. In the shade 37 degrees. But I want
thank you for the good and fine comment on "Horses". It was this
way terrible even if at each other the horses to see.
Wil
Thanks Phillipe, for your favourable words on "A Beautiful Horse".He/She
also really resisted for me to pose. And then I also always thank the
animals.

Hi Philippe, thanks for your comments on the photograph of the little house with bicycles outside it. It is an outbuilding behind the mansion in Tatton Park and quite old. I just spotted the bicycles leaning against the steps and thought it made a really nice picture. I cropped a little from the left of the photograph so that the door was not right in the centre. Patti
Thank you for your kind comments on "Lightning in a Jar". Yes, that's just a blanket. Thanks again, my friend. Your insights are always most appreciated.
I'm trying hard to learn digital, Philippe. It's sooo much different than 35mm. Thank you for taking the time to view and comment on the shot. I highly value your insights. And that, my friend, is the real truth.

Hi PHilippe, I am glad you liked my Thatched Roof Cottage photograph. I have seen these types of buildings in France too. I was amused that my American friends had never seen anything like it. :) That is what makes it interesting here - seeing so many different views of landscapes and architecture around the World.
Hi Philippe, thanks for looking and commenting on "Just Paradise" and "Moseyin'" Your comments are always welcome. Believe it or not, "Just Paradise" was uploaded just as downloaded from my memory card. It's a Nikon thing. Sometimes it's just perfect and I'm thrilled when I don't have to do any tweaking. anne :-)

Gee Philippe, merci for no comment. To tell you the truth, I don't like anything about the Japanese Garden shot. I did actually shoot for the winding path because I like leading the eye when I can. However, it was an overcast day with little going on to add any interest. Having said that, my sister wants it and doesn't use e-mail - don't ask - so the only reason the Japanese Garden is here, is for her. So, you're a brat but I concur. Love you anyway. anne :-)

Hi Philippe, many thanks for your comments on my archway at Tatton Mansion. I thought it was a bit bright at first and when I changed the brightness I lost all the contrast in the brickwork, so decided to leave it as it was in its original state, apart from cloning out a tourist sign, so I am pleased that you thought it worked well. :) Patti
..and thanks for your comments on "Hello Handsome" - that horse certainly had some character and looked like he was grinning at me! I just loved the bemused look on his face. Patti

I had a feeling "Reflections" was going to grab a few hearts. Rarely do I feel I really capture what I saw when I was there but this is one of those rare gems that when I downloaded, took MY breath away. Glad you like it. Two in a row? Wow. LOL anne :-)

I have no idea what that sunken "Buried House" is. I wasn't bold enough to walk right up and peek in the windows, although there wasn't anyone around and I probably could have. Something about the pointy toed shoes sticking out from under it was a bit intimidating...And also husbands can be rather impatient with camera wielding wives...Thanks for looking. anne :-)

Dear Philippe,
Thanking you very much for viewing and kindly commenting on 'Fryingpan Meadow' I must admit that the weather we are all enjoying so much in Europe is starting to get on my nerves - far too hot for my liking !!! And your favourite green colour is quickly vanishing leaving place for yellows and oranges and reddish which are all my favourite colours but who could expect let alone admire beautiful yellow leaves in the mid of July ... ?! LOL Perhaps one should consider moving to some colder zone ...
Hi Philippe, thanks for your comments on my flower photo and the medieval door. ....and yep Mae West makes a good name for my flower - at least I can remember that!!! lol! :) Patti
Hi Philippe, Thanks for the comment on Vineyard-1. This is one of the last rural areas in Temecula. This part of California is the fastest growing area in the country. They've made wine country an agricultural preserve to try to keep the developers from bulldozing the vineyards and building houses.
No Philippe, i didn't do any full swims. the waters in northern Like Michigan and Lake Superior are pretty cold all year long and i'm just not brave enough to fully submerge myself in waters around 17'C. some of the shallow wind protected bays and rivers we went up were just fine and were quite refreshing : ). dAVE
Hi Philippe,
Thank you for the good comment on "The result of the triptych" it was fine this share work with your. He has already left off flowering. But we can enjoy of it now eternal.

Thanks for comments on Historical Reflections and Citadel Guards. I'd love to see you upload some images of France. I have distant ancestry there. My grandfather was a Cour whose father migrated to Ireland, married an Irish gal and then they came to America where my grandfather was born in Chicago. He was quite a well known photo journalist in his day (during the 20's-40's) and died before I was born. The family name is Cour and unfortunately, I have no idear what part of France they were from. Mother once told me she had distant cousins in Paris. Blah blah blah. anne :-)

Hello Phillippe
Thankyou for visiting the Nathan Frank Bandstand. It was a beautiful place for a wedding.
I'm glad you enjoyed. Monsieur Frank was a prominent attorney and business man in St. Louis. In other words a man with lots of money who wanted a pretty thing named after him. LOL

Hi Philippe, thanks for your comment on the Balearic sea view. It is difficult to take a bad photograph from up there - the views are amazing in three directions, as the land juts out into the sea. :) Patti
Hi Philippe,
Thank for response on "Tistle butterfly on Thistle". I have been possible make that day several beautiful photograph. We will drive only just as a bit and nowadays take along my camera is. And then get you this photograph.

Philippe, thank you for taking the time to view and comment on "Splendor in Glass". All the horses are made of fiberglas and they just shortened it to glass. Maurice
Hey Philippe, merci for your comments on LBI Storm. I spent all day constructing that beach. LOL Okay, I lied. All the credit goes to the good Lord who snapped it into focus so I could shoot an image you all could enjoy. Thanks for looking. anne :-)

hi philippe, i'm glad you liked 'shhhh'..as for the stone railing in the background,it was left there intentionally as a backdrop. i tried cropping it out, and the framing it provides was needed..thanks for the input though :o)

now about the abstract - I was very focused Philippe - I just have a problem focusing in one place at a time! lol! - and it was a bit of an experiment! - maybe the picture reflects my inner thoughts - totally confused I am! lol thanks for your comments and on the bell photograph. I really liked the antique bell and my focus was on that but as Pat likes the old red brick walls so much I left most of the wall on. Patti :)
Hello, my gorgeous Frenchman, Many grateful thanks for your positive comments on 'Sunlit Font in Abbey Ruins' and I'm touched that it's obviously given you much pleasure. Delighted. Thank you also Philippe, for your most welcome PM 2-3 weeks ago. It was great to hear from you. I've had log-on and PC problems this pst month, so am only now getting round to answering messages. Big hugs, Anne-Marie x

Hello Dear Caedes Friend, I will be away with business and ministry for a few weeks so I won't be available to respond to comments or leave any critiques. I will check in when I can but wanted to let you all know that I'm not ignoring you, just not available. Bless you, anne :-)

Hello Philippe, I'm back in town :-). Thanks for the comment on "Vuollerims kyrka". Who would not like that? The white little church looked splendid in the blue surroundings of water and sky... I think that Sweden has that beautiful light that can be seen in the Provence too...
Hey Philippe, thanks for your comments on Mountain Meadow. I often want to kick myself for spending 10 years living is southern California and hardly seeing any of it. Now that I'm back in Colorado, I'm not wasting a moment missing all the beauty there is to see. We get out with our Avalanche and hit the back roads as much as possible. Thanks for the visit. anne :-)

Thank you very much for your kind comments and thoughts Philippe. I did spend alot of time trying to get all the shawdowing correct, as well as the soft glow of candlelight. I'm glad and appreciative that you enjoyed it! dAVE
hi!! Thank you very much for your nice comment in "Diamonds Sand" I really apreciate a lot!! Yes, the pic, have a sobre exposure in the sand, but, if i give it to the camera more velocity the contrast in the back dosn't see very well(sorry for my english I'm bad)
Hello Philippe....Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (THE OLD BRIDGE) and for your comments, it is very much appreciated....Picture was taken in Scotland at a place near Braemar....Thanks again....All the best...Mick.
