Thanks Sam! I'm glad that you liked my On Golden Pond image idea. Thanks for voting and commenting on my work. This is a combination of several photo elements with a ripple effect added in photoshop. It's a normal sunset photo turned upside down and distorted to look like water.

Hello Sam: It's nice to hear from you. I'm really pleased that you liked "All Backed Up". It was a fun picture to take. I had to wait an hour for all of the players to assemble. Just after I took the shot a dog chasing a Frisbee jumped in the water and the turtles all disappeared. I didn't know they could move that fast, but I guess given the right incentive they can. Thanks again.

The place is named the "Painted Hills". It is part of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. Thanks again for you kind comments.

I am happy that you stopped by to visit my "Incoming Blizizzard" image. It came down the mountain with a vengence. It dumped 8 inchs of snow on us in three hours. It was a wonderful sight and we captured may good images after it had stopped snowing..
Rest easy my friend. I will never give up this property as it is my little bit of Heaven on Earth. Thanks for your comment.
