Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita

Thank Jas ,for commenting on Lakeland,it amazes me how they build those walls up the hills, they seem to go on for ever.In these days ,they would never build walls up there as it would cost a fortune.
Thanks Jas.. for your great comment on The End Of Another Day.. i'm glad you liked it.. I could see when it was first setting that it was going to be a beauty, so I jumped in the car and got to the lookout just in time...
Hi Jas and thanks for your helpful comment at 'Just the two of us". You know, I started to do exactly that with filling in the white with a soft green or yellow and then decided to leave it classic white. Wish I had done it now, your re-work looked great!. Thanks for the tip- Eileen
Hi Jas, just to thank you for all your recent comments. Don't worry about thanking me or anyone else all the time, but as you will find out - the more friends you add the more time you spend thanking people - just know that I appreciate all your comments! :) There was recently a long message thread about whether to thank or not - and of course it is entirely up to the individual. I just want you to know that I appreciate all your comments, even if I do not thank you for them all. :) Patti

I saw this done in a life magazine that was in the newspaper back in June. I thought this would be a good effect for the current contest. My Fall State Fair was taken at the Perry, Ga fair at iso 50, F11 at a 6 second exposure. Thanks Jas for the nice comments.

Hey Jas, thanks for your comments at "eyes left". I don't know about being a horse whisperer, LOL, but I seemed to be communicating with this pair of horses. We had some fun!

Hey Jas...thanks for your nice words on Amber Waves of Grain , it's much appreciated. You're right that it doesn't resemble grain, however, I had used a sandy grain effect for texture to the image that I guess is not that apparent..lol
Hi Jas,Your right about the water being more blue than the sky,Kielder Water 2.I think it could have being ,the polarizing filter I used that day,as it was red hot and really bright that day. Thanks for commenting Brian..
Thanks so much for all your comments and encouragement on recent posts. I do appreciate and take to heart eveything I hear from fellow Caedians. It's been hard to respond because of my limited Internet access while out of town. This is my blanket thanks for all your kind remarks. Blessings, anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
I wish I had lain (sp?) on the ground and shot the whole tree, (Contrast & Texture) truth be told. I like the subject, just not how I handled it. I'll never find it again now... :-( Left that lovely scene somewhere off I-70 in Utah. anne :-)

Hi Jas.. thanks for your wonderful comment on The Colour Purple... i'm so glad your enjoying the series.. considering we are in the worst drought on record, the trees are full of flowers...
Hi Jas- Thanks for taking the time to comment on "Autumn Sun". I wasn't too keen on fractals either until I tried one. I find it very relaxing to make them and see them come to life. Thanks also for your comment on "Second Chances". I took your advice- it turned out pretty good didn't it?. Have a great night Jas. Eileen
Thanks for checking out 'concentration', 'sweet alyssum' and 'monarch butterfly - soon'. Per your earlier PM, addictive is definitely the key word for this site. Thanks again.

James, "Moon on the Trees 2" rework: yes, I like the post work better. However, Jen has now pointed out the dark trees, which on second look, I see have lost their detail in the shadows. Sooooooooo back to the artboard. I do like people to criticize my work publicly because (I HOPE) it helps others see what to look for and improve in their own photos. I've been away from photography for so many years that getting feedback at Caedes is really helping me to look at my own images much more carefully from many perspectives. Thanks for your comments and asking the question. anne :-)

Hi Jas.Thanks for your comments on Newcastle Quay-side,Your right ,the Quayside does look empty,The size of the river Tyne, and theres very few boats or ships ues it.But on a night time ,the Quay comes to life, theres loads of pubs and clubs their, and you carnt get moved, for people every where.Theres that much trafffic on the roads now,and ive always said ,that they should use the river, for to get around, like water taxis. Thanks Brian.
Hi Jas, thanks for all the comments you have left on my photos recently. re. Steve's photo from the lake district - the water does actually go over the side there and cascade like a water fall down the side - I must ask Steve if he has a photo from down below looking up. .....re. "branching out" - would make a very small golf course ;) and I think you would see someone on horseback there if you stood there long enough! :) Patti

Hey Jas
Thank you so much for your comments on "Back in time " and "Back in time # 2." Both were taken on the same day, so I felt like I hit the jackpot that day! As photographers, we all know what an awesome feeling that is. Thanks again - have a good day!

Okay, so everyone is raving about the view out my window. I'll grant you, it's something and I treasure it. But hey, I live in the guest house so I ought to have something, right? Made it up. I do praise God every time I look out back of my house because everything we have is temporal - it could all be gone in a breath. I'm happy to share my Sunrise Moon and many more to come with my dear friends at Caedes. Thanks for viewing and all your kind remarks on this and other posts. Blessings, anne

Thanks, Jas - it wasn't that bad turning another year wiser; it was the older part that kinda grabbed me a bit!! Thanks for your sweet birthday wishes! - Patty
Mornin', Jas. Thanks for looking at 'Gotta Find a Woman'. The Troglodyte reference is to an old song and the title I chose. Sorry, but I don't think it will work as a scarecrow. Thanks again.
Hi Jas, Thank you for your kind comment on Spider Daisies! I have Canon at the moment and it is horrible! Now and again it does something good, but usually it ruins even the best of Photos! I had MIra-Scan before and it was wonderful - did everything with cover on, or off! Unfortunately, when I went to Laptop and XP - it would not recognize my Mira, so I got this "paper copier" Canon! It is time for me to buy a camera, perhaps? I love your gallery - just downloaded Fishie..... ever so good photo!

Hiya Jas.....cheers for those kind comments to Bob's Boogie Band'!....I am a few 'undies' short...after all those 'screaming groupies'!.............lol
Hay Jas -- thanks for commenting upon Splash!. I managed to pull that one out of the fire with some judicious dodging and burning on the wall and background which were really shadowy .. I was metering on the water.

Jas -- me again. Thanks for looking at and commenting upon Autumn Leaves. It has been hard here to get good bright shots as we have rain basically since labour day ... but I had to put something up with leaves.

Hey James, thanks for sharing your thoughts on "Now it (sic) the Time." I liked the shot as I liked the place and time I shot it. However, it seems lackluster to me. I always appreciate your point of view. I do tend to be hypercritical of my work - are you that way with yours too? anne :-)

Answer to Anne's question: I have never claimed to be a photographer. I do take a lot of pictures, some better than others. I'm happy if a photo stirs an emotion, provokes a thought or pleases the viewer. When I view any of my photos,(no matter how blurry, and yes I keep almost all) they let me relive the moment. The more time goes by, the more I wish they had invented digital earlier. I had taken rolls and rolls of film I never developed and lot of prints I have lost track of. Jas
