No Way Jose could I make it to the top Joy! glad you took the "Steep Climb" and didn't get carsick! the road runs right beneath many great mountains including the highest in the state Mount Elbert and rises well above the treeline into the stark Alpine tundra zone, while also passing lakes, rivers, steep-sided valleys, thick forests of fir and extensive aspen groves. Highway 82 is usually open for only six months of the year, from late May to late October.
I think the place may have gone overboard with Flowers Galore! it seems a bit gaudy and I cut a slice off the flag..some true blue patriot might find that insulting. I don't know if I like the picture or not oh well it just can sit there until I figure it out...thanks for smelling the flowers Joy! With all the sweetness in the air I hope you can smell your steak grillin!
I hope I can make the snowman guickly Joy..did I happen to mention Route 82 is only open six months of the year, from late May to late October, I would hate to be snowbound for 6 months..those long winter nights might get pretty lonely and I'd go crazy like the guy in "The Shining"

Thanks for being my most consistent & enthusiastic cheerleader, Joy. I don't write much here and have lost most of my viewers for violating that house rule of etiquette. As I've said before, I'm an absent landlord. So your charm and tenacity are much appreciated by this odd loner. Stay wonderful.
Joy - I thank you for faving '1867 Railroad Bridge'. A week earlier, the water was so high that I could not get to the place from where I took the photo. I find fascinating the stonework in the bridge. Glad you liked it too. Thad
Thank you for enjoying "Twilight in the Tropics" Joy it is for the contest and I read you can't use one already in your gallery. Lord knows I've got enough water photos to sink a battle ship
Colorado is too cold for me in the winter. I don't ski, hate to shovel snow and wear heavy winters coats, That is a big reason why I moved down south. The heated outdoor pool and hot tubs were heavenly with great views . Thank you for your lovely comment about "Grand Timber Lodge" Joy!
Hello Joy........Many thanks fo viewing (HORSES AT LIBERTY)and for your comments,it is as you know very much appreciated...Photographing horses as they are coming towards me is very challenging and exciting and of course very scarey at times...I always make sure that I can get to a safe position in a hurry....Thankyou again....All the very best to you Joy........Mick.

PS, I know you have seen this on Facebook, sorry to have such a lack of imagination to post new things

Joy, your charity may become a thing of Caedes myth & legend. IM'd down through the ages, the stories of your munificence will only grow with the telling. An unattainably high bar for the rest of us mere mortals with only three digit vocabularies, but a lofty goal just the same. One day, as I'm wheezing out my last post, I'll remember the one who shone a little bit brighter than all the others.
Peace in the Valley What I like to do is look online at log cabin designs just for fun. Some of them are so beautiful! I would like one about 1500 sq ft on one level with a mountain or lake view nestled among the evergreens but not too many since I would like the cabin to be bright and cheerful in the day time. I don't like dark and deary homes. You are welcome to drop by anytime Joy!
Joy, you are a gift that keeps on giving. I'm glad someone else (namely you) subscribes to my own philosophy of 'anything worth doing, is worth overdoing'. Let people scratch their heads over that one. What isn't opaque though is what a sweetheart you are. I think everybody gets that.

Hello Joy....Many thanks for taking the time to view (MORNING HAS BROKEN)and for your comments,it is very much appreciated...Being in a location like this and listening to the birds singing as they welcomed a new dawn was a lovely experience....Thankyou again...All the best to you Joy....Mick.
Hi Joy, I'm glad you liked the new additions. There've been some great colors on display this year and it's only just turned Spring. Every little flower or insect is highly detailed and it just takes the right pair of eyes to see it and photograph it. There are many fantastic macrophotographers out there, but I'd noticed a lack of interest in composition. The shots are pin sharp & technically perfect, yet at the same time sterile & uninvolving. I like to show off my subjects like fine china or it's not worth the trouble. So I'm very pleased you and a few select others have enjoyed the work. I'll try to keep surprising you.
Being able to look closely at the often overlooked & forgotten parts of nature is truly a revelation. It really does feel like a window to a different world when you're looking at it from an insect's point of view. And now that I'm hopelessly addicted to that view, I'm afraid the pictures will only keep on coming.
Hello Joy...Many thanks for taking the time to view (PARKLAND GOLF COURSE)and for your very kind comments,it is so much appreciated...This course is located just outside London which means the green fees are very expensive..During my time at the course I was able to take a few pictures before it started to rain....Thankyou again....All the very best to you Joy....Mick.

And how could we endure to live and let time pass if we were always crying for one day or one year to come back-if we did not know that every day in a life fills the whole life with expectation and memory and that these are that day? C.S. Lewis, Out of the Silent Planet

One of the game's greatest strengths is its intuitive design. Incredibox Sprunki keeps the same drag-and-drop interface that fans have come to love. Its easy for beginners to pick up but also offers depth for those wanting to create more complex tracks.
