I´m very glad for your comment on "Electric mirror". The picture has to be in a large scale and I agree with you that it could be a CD-cover. I also think the mirror projection is OK and created a spooky feel together with the color and glow. Welcome to comment my pics again, Mary-Katherine! / Arne
And thankyee once again for your kind words about my work (we gotta stop meeting like this) Regarding the hash I sling with my images ... yes I wrote it ...its a curse ...A CURSE I SAY. I was once bitten by the spider who sat beside little miss muffet while she was eating her curds and whey. OH PLEASE, KIND SOUL, DO SOMETHING. ......... I must find some porridge .. not too hot. ...Gotta go ---------->
Hi Mary-K
Thanks for the feedback on "Wet Lands". As for Point Pelee, I missed it, I went past it on the way out to Pelee Island a few years ago, now there's a place to take photos. I stood on the tip of a sandbar that at the time was the furthest point south in Canada ! ( Canada has since bought a "bird island" that is further south of there ).............John
Hi Mary-K,
Thanks once again for taking the time to leave feedback on "Island Roots". Granny's Island is a photographers dream and there are more shots to come.........John
I appreciate your comments on my photo. I know B.C. has some beautiful beaches as well. I hear the Island ( Vancouver Island ) is a world unto itself. I'd love to spend some time there one of these days, take in all the nature. Anyway, Happy Holidays!!
I really like how you chose to put up your own personal art ( re. besides computer created ). It is really very nice. I was wondering myself if people do that around here so it's good to see people ( you ) are doing it. Thanx again for yor comments on my photo.
Thank you Mary-Katherine for viewing my Mystery image and posting a comment. The secret is that it is India ink dropped into a fish tank filled with water with the lighting on the background paper. The image was in B&W and was scanned into Photoshop, rotated 180 degrees, given a sandstone texture and added some color.
Russ
Thanks Mary-Katherine! I'm glad that you liked my On Golden Pond image idea. Thanks for voting and commenting on my work. This is a combination of several photo elements with a ripple effect added. I've done a few more that I'll upload at a later date.

>>>Giddy edge of light<<<<<Yeah, you can tell.Looks like in the movie The count of monte cristo ( the atmosphere) I'm glad you like my images especialy this one.I like her too, how it end up at the end. In one way, thats the way how is feel this one, instead of the regular photo.
Thanks Mary again!:)
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~
Thankyou for commenting on my image "Skilled Fingers" im glad you liked the image so much and it took me a while to think of an appropriate title. Love your personal icon its so cute!!!
Hi MK. I'm stopping by a little late but I wanted to thank you for your comments on "Going West" (the elf). Painting is fun, I may get the gull up someday to post some of my paintings, but I'll wait on that. I appreciate your stopping by. From one Canadian to another (I'm not so sure there's many around here), Cheers!! LPF
Hi Mary_Katherine... thanks for your comment on Jellyfish.. im glad you liked it... as soon as i saw it i thought of a jellyfish... (think the hot weather is making me think of the cool ocean... lol)
Thanks for your comment on "Albireo", Mary-Katherine. These swans are very used to people feeding them, so they're pretty tolerant. Even so, I keep a close eye on them and avoid sudden moves. Having a 10x optical zoom helps, too.... ;-)
Hi again Mary-Katherine! I´m very pleased to see you liked my picture on Christmas Eve. It´s captured near the little cottage outside of Uppsala where my family and relatives use to meet every Christmas. Late in the afternoon the landscape turned completely into white..
I hope you had a white and pleasant Xmas too.
Thank you for the gracious comments on "Lakeside Early." I like washed pastel colors and soft images, so I was really pumped when I first downloaded it from my camera. I'm glad you enjoyed it too, and thanks so much for taking the time to let me know. Steve
I always appreciate your comments on my pictures, Mary-Katherine! I like your view on them...maybe because they are very similiar to my own..!? Glad you liked the battle between the dead frosty winter and the color and life of spring.
By the way, I´m very curious about your opinion of the skating princess (no 12)..
Thank you for the compiment on "Foggy Path." So much of the fun I've had with this image has been the cool comments and teasing. I appreciate you stopping by, and the faces are all up to your imagination!
About the Ice Princess. Thanks, and thanks again for a wonderful comment, Mary-K. I had to be convinced it works well together so I can be pleased with it. You convinced me - hugs from me!
Hi again, Mary-Katherine! I hope I don´t give you an unease feeling by telling you that that little cute lonely cow is a bullock meant for the slaughter-house!! (..why did I tell you..?) My first intention was to draw the attention to people getting desperate and scared to be alone while we are part(y)ing and cheering at the Christmas and Newyear holidays, but I left that out ..! I like the background wood most, and you don´t have to be afraid of getting lost in it - there is an expressway not far away..! ....I´m sorry I ruined that idyllic and amusing feel..
Hi again, Mary-Katherine...Nice to see you liked the colorful car grille...II tried to make the colors rough, pixely or vibrant (not sure of the best word..) and get rid of the shining lacquer from the photo.. Thanks for commenting.
Thanks Mary-Katherine for the nice compliments on "Rage" :D
I agree that it's a little buisy. Might find this hard to believe but that image uses one of my images "Simple Background" -- the contour lines image -- to create the effect in Rage.
Nice to see you drop in now and then, Mary-Katherine, with a lovely comment. I appreciate your votes too....hehe...but I was talking about voting in general....to get a notion of what the most active here feel about the pics (the image ranking) ...but a constractive comment is more welcome..
Thanks for your comment on my Amalfi coast adaption! I can kinda see what you're saying about the alien resemblence, it must be the colours : ) Strange was my intention so glad you could say that.
