If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea...does
that mean that one
enjoys it?
Ever wonder about those people who spend $2.00
apiece on those little
bottles of Evian water?
Try spelling Evian backwards: NAÏVE
. If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen
defrocked, doesn't it follow that
electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted,
cowboys deranged, models
deposed, tree surgeons debarked, and dry cleaners
depressed?
What hair color do they put on the driver's
licenses of bald men?
Thank you Carrie, for the comment on my "This is mine" Dragonfly photo. I used my Canon 40D and Canon 70mm-200mm f/4 L series lens. Glad you liked it. Photo was taken in my back yard.
Thanks Carrie for your kind comment on "Say Hello To An Old Friend". I am so lucky that this lovely lighthouse is so near to where I live so I can capture its image when I want to.

Please don't get mad at me...I kinda stole one of your photo ideas. I couldn't help myself. The name of the plant was Fushcia Shadow Dancer, and when I saw it I remembered your photo of a Fushcia. Please forgive me. Here's the link to my image.

Thank ya so much Carrie. Truly appreciate your nice comments on "Red Dragon". I just Love em. They are So incredible. Being lucky enough to get a Good shot of one, is definately a pleasure.
Did you see the shot in my gallery, called "Trust"? I'll just get a bit winded here, and tell ya the story of that shot, and why I love Dragonflys so much more.
My Mom in Law passed away bout a year ago...it's a whole incredible story, but....
I didn't get to see her before she passed, and she wanted to see me.
The next morning, I was out in my garden, and noticed this Dragonfly. It kept sorta, divebombin me, which is not Dragonfly behavior at all. Ya come close to em, they fly away. I blew it off, and went back inside. Came out about an hour and a half later...and the same Dragonfly was still there. I went in and got my camera. Same thing. Kept Divebombin me...
I finally just held up my finger....and she landed. I took about 5 shots..."Trust" bein the best one, and....she just flew away. I came back out a number of times during the day, but...she was gone for good.
That was my mother in law, a great friend...determined to say "Goodbye", before she left.
Yes, I love Dragonflys. :-)
thanks Carrie for stopping by and enjoying the sunset - i think there is actually a phone that will suit your needs - i will try to remember which one it is :-)
Hey Carrie...thanks so much for your kind comments on "Indian Ladders 3"...I use a Sony Alpha A100 right now and I never leave home without my tripod! Using a tripod is a must when shooting waterfalls because of the long exposures needed to create the blurring effect on the water. It depends on the situation of course, but I think on that particular shot I managed at least a 10 second exposure (with the help of a 0.9 ND filter and exposure compensation of -2)...thats pretty much it, in a nutshell!!
